Chapter 28: Nemesis colliding (ii)
Flora went out for the shoot her manager had called her for. She dropped a text to inform Scott about the sudden change of plan. Scott who was so busy at work wasn't with his phone, he had dropped it somewhere on the sofa.
At noon around 5pm, Flora got done with the shoot, the client was very satisfied with her work, she got some accolades and thanked the client in return.
Flora loved her job so much, she doesn't joke with it at all. Since she was free, she phoned Beauty to ask about their hangout.
"Hey baby! It been long we hangout indeed, where are we meeting?". Flora smiled as she enjoy the natural air from her car.
"Farinto of course? Hahaha". Beauty laughed excitedly.
"I can see you're overhappy, would you like to share with me when we meet. No, not even would you, you will surely have to share it with me. Isn't it?".
"Hahahaha". Both friends laughed for a long time.
"I am out already, I will be on my way now". Flora added. "Not bad, I am there waiting for you darling". Flora was surprised Beauty was already there waiting for her.

The song keeps playing at the bar where Beauty sat, she had long been there because Roy had called her out.
She wondered what he still wanted from her. Though, she have little feelings left for him, but she doesn't want to go into another relationship with him for now. "What a bastard!". Flora heard her cursing as she walked in.
"Who is this unlucky person igniting your anger this evening". She smiled as she settles down.
"Nevermind". She pouted her lips in return. "Hmmm, Mr Mart?". She said, guessing right.
"Hey girl, yeah he is. How can a man be so annoying, do I need to spell it out to him that I am not interested in such a man like him anymore. Trash!". Beauty cursed again.
"Baby, calm down uhn. Take your time with him, you guys can settle your differences, I could see he still really loves you". Flora continued, consoling her best friend.
"Mrs counselor, leave that thing alone. How have you been with Mr S? I can see he has been really taking special care of you". She teased Flora.
"Uhm? Are you sure? Did I add more weight or what?". She laughed as she asked Beauty.
The two friends proceeded their conversation as they ordered their favorite drinks with ice cubes.

Aria had been home working on the contract she was about signing with the new company she informed Beauty about. She had always been in her room working tirelessly on her system since few days now. Her mother would bring her different meals, snacks with drinks so she wouldn't starve herself.
"Aria, your father called for your attention in his study room". Charlotte told her daughter as she dropped the milk she brought for her.
"Okay mum". Aria answered.
The study room was opened, she knocked before entering, it was an etiquette the family had taught them since childhood.
"Dad, you called for me". She said standing in front of his desk.
"Yes princess. I want to apologize for my behavior towards you for this past years. Truly, I am not in support of your fashion business, but I think it is time you start making decisions for yourself". Mark sighed.
"You are not getting younger, you need to be able to stand alone by yourself. Perhaps, you want to choose a life of your own. Your brothers are always there for you, I am also available for you, If you need any form of assistance, do well to call on any of us". He explained.
"Thanks so much dad, I really appreciate you". She bowed her head paying respect to her father.
"You are welcome. Make sure you don't involve yourself in any scandal, be careful of people you relate with, they can be a bad influence to your brand and even this family". He warned.
"I will follow your advice sir. Thanks dad". She appreciated.
After Aria left her father's study room, she went into the bathroom to take a cold shower. She thought of going out to Maxson's place, she knew her older brother and his wife would be at work now, so she dressed up to leave the house.
"Mum, I'll be right back, I want to pay a visit to Maxson". She told her mother.
"Okay princess, take care of yourself and send my regards to your brother".
"I will". She strolled out of the house holding her car key.
Maxson had stayed with Joan until afternoon, he told her he had to meet his older brother and would be back very soon. Very soon had been taking more than three hours, she was alone inside the big mansion.
She took several walks to different part of the house and its surroundings. "Come outside you stupid ass boy". Aria shouted as she walks in, this was the way she always act to Maxson whenever she visits him.
At the pool, Joan was sitting with her legs inside the water. She was enjoying the beautiful scene when she heard the noise from where she was.
"Where is that poor boy that I trained". She shouted again, throwing her bag on the floor. She went into his kitchen, checked his fridge and brought out a drink.
Joan walked into the living room, she saw a lady's bag on the floor, she had also seen a car parked outside of the house. She wondered who the lady might be, "maybe his wife or girlfriend had come? Did he lied to her?".
Aria came out from the kitchen with the drink in her hand. "Sorry, who are you?". She was the first to ask as she saw Joan.
"Emmm, a friend. I am so sorry, I'll leave now". She said, about to go pick her bag from the room.
As Joan turned to go inside, Aria laughed knowing what the lady had thought she was. "Excuse me ma, I am not Maxson's girlfriend or wife". She said smiling.
When Aria called Maxson in an informal way, she turned around facing her. "Sorry?". Joan asked calmly.
"I am his younger sister, Aria by name". She smiled shaking Joan's hands.

Maxson had gone to the underground to see Scott. There was no meeting that day for the gang, but because he had to discuss something important with his older brother, he went there so early.
"I am still working on some investigations regarding him. Prum gave me some insights on his fraud activities, he had also being raping and assaulting ladies. If I get enough evidences, we can take action then". Scott explained to Maxson.
"Alright. Aside that, I have these feelings he would come back to harm Joan, she is in my house presently, but I am afraid to let her go". Maxson said.
"It fine, I understand you. Make sure you send some of our men to protect her, she would be fine with that". Scott advised him.
"Thanks bro. It already getting dark, I have to leave now". He said looking at his wristwatch.
Before he left, Scott handed him some documents on Royce's crimes.
