Chapter 4 - 4. What to do if there is no

Rudolph carefully put away the teeth of the zombie. This is a good thing that can survive in the hands of witch examiners. Rudolph felt that his sense of security increased a little bit.

The wizard's head was put into the vertical hole again, and Rudolph buried it carefully.

Rudolph quickly returned to his horse, rode on the horse, left here, and continued his patrol.

Half an hour later, the gravekeeper Old Gray came to the place where the horse had just been tied.

"Young people nowadays don't care about hygiene at all. They don't even clean up horse manure."

Old Gray simply dealt with the scene before returning to his cabin to sleep.

The next day, Rudolph entered the office of Sheriff Claude.

Claude heard the sound of the door closing and looked up in some surprise.

Rudolph sat opposite the sheriff, coughed and said:

"Sheriff, in the last witch hunt, the trainee patrolmen I was familiar with were all sacrificed. I have thought about some things and want to seek your help."

Claude put down the documents in his hand and looked at Rudolph in front of him with pity.

Since Rudolf was seriously injured in the last witch hunt, the young man has been very upset.

"Go ahead, Rudolf, I'll try my best to satisfy you."

Rudolf asked: "Sheriff, I want to ask, how can I become an alchemist."

"Alchemist?" Claude looked at Rudolf in surprise: "Except for this, I can help you with everything."

  "What about becoming a knight?"

"Except for these two things, I can help you with everything."

  "What about becoming a druid?"

"Except for these three things, I can help you with everything."

Rudolf just looked at the sheriff, and the sheriff, as a leader, felt a little embarrassed.

"Rudolf, listen to my explanation, I understand your feelings.

Among the 12 types of apostles, knights, alchemists, and druids are called the three chosen apostles. Knights constitute the noble group of the kingdom, alchemists govern the city, and druids manage the countryside.

If you want to become an alchemist assistant, you need to find three alchemists to write a joint recommendation letter. I can be one of them, and I can also help you find two other alchemists.

I can do it for free, but the signing fee for the other two people is 100 gold shields each.

A little signing fee is necessary. Alchemists, as the name suggests, need a lot of metals as research or weapon raw materials.

Gold, silver, copper, lead, and of course other rare metals, alchemists accept everyone, so every alchemist is both a pauper and a tycoon.

After getting the recommendation letters from the three alchemists, the Alchemy Association of Fabro City will review your application.

Alchemists who attend the review meeting need to pay a total of 100 gold shields for attendance.

The review meeting may not be passed, and the issues raised can be big or small, and the cost can also be big or small. It will cost about 200 gold shields to convince the speaker.

In short, you need to prepare at least 500 gold shields.

The city of Fabro only adds about 10 alchemists each year. The Alchemist Association is very cautious about this matter. If you are short of 1 gold shield, they will not do anything for you.

I really can't help you much in this matter. I spent my salary last month on Mrs. Claire, and my salary the month before last on Mrs. Kara. I really don't have money. "

Rudolf silently calculated in his mind. He now has a salary of 2 silver shields per month, 1 gold shield equals 24 silver shields, and he can only earn 1 gold shield if he does not eat or drink for a whole year.

500 gold shields, 500 years, this number is a bit too exaggerated.

  "What about knights?"

"Knights need a noble identity, and noble blood means that money can't solve this problem." Sheriff Claude said seriously: "Really, Rudolf, your goal now is to capture the heart of a noble lady. The probability of your son becoming a knight is countless times higher than your probability of becoming a knight."

  "What about druids?"

"Druids live in tribes in the wild. They usually only develop new druids in their own tribes."

  Claude continued to comfort:

"Rudolf, there are some things that you have when you are born. If you don't have them when you are born, you will never have them in your life."

"Sheriff, you are really good at comforting people. Don't comfort me next time."

Rudolf stood up and prepared to leave the office.

"Don't go. I will enlighten you again."

Rudolf said without looking back: "My teeth hurt after listening to this. I want to go to the dentist to have a look."

  Sheriff Claude finally said:

"There is no sacrifice for the full moon sacrifice next month. Pay attention in the next two days to see if you can find any clues about the sacrifice."

"Got it! I will take a leave and go to the dentist."

Knights, alchemists and druids are the chosen apostles of the kingdom and can walk in the sun. The so-called sacrifices are heretic apostles other than the chosen apostles.

After listening to the sheriff's comfort, Rudolf made up his mind. What heresy is not a heresy? Since he has come here and has put on the clothes, it would be a pity not to become an apostle.

Two hours later, the door of the dentist's clinic in Leman Town opened and closed.

Rudolph came out of the dentist's office, holding his cheek. The dentist, Mr. Tis, bent over and kept apologizing behind him.

Rudolph had a wisdom tooth extracted, and the pain made him dizzy.

For some reason, the anesthetic that should have been enough had a much smaller effect on Rudolph.

Sadly, when the result was known, the tooth extraction was already halfway done.

Every time the dentist operated, Rudolph would spasm in pain. He tried his best to control his head from moving, but the sweat on his head and his clenched fists proved that he was struggling to persist.

The dentist, who found out that the anesthetic was not used correctly, sweated as much as Rudolph. Because after he added the anesthetic, he found that the anesthetic would still lose its effect after a period of time.

However, the situation was already like this, and the gums were torn, and it would not be appropriate not to continue.

So, the dentist, Mr. Tis, pretended that there was no problem with the anesthetic and extracted Rudolph's wisdom tooth.

Looking at Rudolph leaving, Mr. Tis said to his assistant: "What a man! This is a real man!"

Assistant dentist Miss Abby was twisting a towel at the door. What was twisted off the towel was the sweat that Rudolph had left on the dental chair.

"What a man! He is indeed a patrolman."

Rudolph could not hear the praise from behind him. He just frowned and hid his expression under his police hat.

He knew why the anesthetic had less effect on him. Just like what the wizard said, he was no longer an ordinary person.

Wizards must die. This is the consensus of all apostles.

Rudolph also wanted to become an alchemist, but it was too late now.

Among the three types of apostles' awakening ceremonies, wizards, word spirits, and silver snakes, Rudolph could only choose wizards. He has been contaminated by star power, and the only choice is the best choice.

Under the coat was a shirt soaked with sweat. He wanted to go back to the police station as soon as possible to change clothes. Rudolph was very depressed. He didn't know if he could still treat the police station as a home in the future.

After changing his clothes, Rudolph stood by the window and watched the people coming in and out of the police station yard.

There are now two apostles in the police station in Leman Town. One is Sheriff Claude, the other is old police officer Baby, and the rest are four or five trainee police officers or trainee patrolmen.

No matter what Rudolph is going to do, he needs to wait for Claude and Old Baby to leave the police station.

Soon, Old Baby left the police station first and went home.

When the sun disappeared from the horizon, Rudolph saw Sheriff Claude leaving the police station by the window.

Sheriff Claude deliberately wore a dress, and it seemed that he was going to visit his lover's house again.

This world, like the Middle Ages in Europe that Rudolph knew, has a very popular lover culture. It is not terrible for a spouse to find a lover, but it is terrible for a spouse to find a lover, but he still has no lover.

Rudolph has taken leave because of tooth extraction, so he does not need to patrol tonight, and he can stay in the police station.

When the night patrol trainee left the police station late at night, Rudolph left his dormitory.

He covered his cheeks and passed by the police station office one by one, asking for painkillers from everyone he met. He needed to know who was in the police station.

The wizard's awakening ceremony was tonight...
