Chapter 15 - Cyrus

I was in my office, feeling bored when I decided to watch some videos in order to get rid of the boredom. Taking my phone, I clicked on the TikTok icon. Thanks to my lovely sisters, I had all the social media platforms on my phone. Aelia's phone could just go off then she would come and take my phone to continue watching her stuff. The first video was that of someone cooking. I scrolled to the next video. Someone was dancing. I scrolled again. I was scrolling for some time until I chanced upon a video of Clarissa and Aelia dancing to some Mexican song. It was their own account and they had a blue tick against their username: THE Literal Queens. And man did they have likes. Two million likes and one million comments.

Who in the world does a simple video and gets that much likes? I decided to find out from the people what they liked about the video.

These two are goddesses, I wonder if they're taken.

My Queens.

No wonder they're called the Literal Queens, cuz they really are literal queens.

Can we please talk about the lady in the black? Oops, they're both in black.

Pretty Queen Aelia, a video for me please!

My love, Clarissa!

Why is nobody talking about their moves?

I stopped reading. Clearly, everyone loved them. I growled when I saw a male's comment, I bet a threesome will be unforgettable. I chuckled darkly. Who made the mistake of thinking about them that way? Tapping on his name, I was taken to his page. Jacob Ransford. Wickedness filled my already black heart when I realized that he had his own picture on his profile too. I saw his number and sent him a quick text message to meet me at the quiet road leading to the forest. Like the idiot he was, without asking any questions, he agreed. I began digging. I went to my girls' page and found tons of videos of them. Most of the videos were dance videos. Damn, they've been in the business for a long time. I took my time to scroll through their comments section, fishing out all the creepy people I will be dealing with.

Jacob Ransford was almost everywhere with that same comment. Dude was about to get his brain drilled out of his head for even thinking that way. Calming down a bit, I continued scrolling. I called Xerxes into office. He had something to do for me. Once school was over, I left in my car. I waited for five minutes before Jacob made his presence known. "You were the one who called me?" He asked, frowning. I opened the car for him to get in. As planned, Xerxes and his men were at the warehouse, waiting for me. What was a plan without a friend who was on the same page as you? I walked out of my car, entered while Xerxes had the men drag Jacob out. Xerxes led me into a room.

Sitting down on my throne, I waited for the men to drag Jacob into the room. They got him seated in the metallic chair opposite mine. "Who are you and w-what do you want from me?" He asked, fear, prominent in his voice. I chuckled darkly and turned on the television in the room. "Remember these girls?" My voice turned deeper and I knew at that moment that something within me was speaking. He gulped and lied, "no." Xerxes landed a tight slap on his face. "I hate repeating myself, kid." I growled. "I know them! They're TikTokers." He replied. "Why do you think I have you here?" I asked. He thought for a while before quietly replying, "I sent them some messages. But why should you punish me for them? I literally send the messages to everyone." The audacity. I chuckled. Just then, my phone rang. Looking at Xerxes, he nodded, pulled out a cloth and stuffed it in Jacob's mouth.

"Hey, buttercup." I answered the call. "Cyrus? Where are you? Are you okay? Why did you leave without informing anybody? Is Xerxes with you?" Aelia ranted, obviously worried about my safety. When I was here, about to end someone's life, she was rather worried about me. "I will be home soon, Aelia, go and party." I found myself saying. Of course I was going to be there. I hanged up and cracked my knuckles as I stood up. "Well, Joseph, I have a Queen to see so I will leave you to my men. Don't worry, unlike me, they have mercy and sympathy. In your next life, don't be such a creep, okay?" I chuckled. Managing to spit out the cloth, he coughed. "It's Jacob."

I chuckled while making my way out. "And how does the name of a corpse matter to me? Xerxes, let's go, please." I said. Giving a signal to his men, they began hitting Jacob while Xerxes turned and followed me out. When we arrived, nobody was at home, thankfully. We both took our shower, got dressed and drove to the venue of the party. The house was relatively big enough to hold the party. As Xerxes and I got out of the car, a group of girls rushed past us into the house while squealing. "Oh my gosh, THE Literal Queens are here for the party too!" One girl said. "I learnt it's their first time coming to a party." The other one said.

I looked at Xerxes and he shrugged. We both walked into the house, blending in with the teenagers. From the entrance of the house to the hall had drunk teenagers littered all over. If not dancing then making out. We saw a large crowd gathered at the center of the hall with their phones in the air, cheering. Walking towards them, I caught sight of Aelia and Clarissa busy dancing in the middle. They were both dressed in black cargo pants, white Nike sneakers with white and black long sleeved turtle neck tops to match. Each of them had red plastic cups and I just knew that moment. Aelia and Clarissa had had their first alcohol.

A new song began playing, they both looked at each other and began singing to it grinding against each other. Pushing through the crowd, Xerxes and I went to grab the two drunk girls. Failing or refusing to recognize me, they shouted in disapproval. "Go party, show's over!" Xerxes yelled at them over the loud music. Unwillingly, they dispersed and continued dancing. "Cyrus? Is that you?" Aelia held my face in her hands and rubbed my cheeks. "Oh my gosh! It's really Cyrus. Clari, look, my man is here." Aelia grinned and clapped happily. Clarissa was practically sleeping on Xerxes. As a new song came up, she bent over and grinded against me. I pulled away and made her stand up right.

"Do you know something, Clari? My elder brother took my first kiss today! He kissed me and I kissed him back! So from now onward, it's official. Cyrus Jackson is my man. He's my boyfriend!" She giggled while talking to Clarissa. "I have such a handsome boyfriend." I ignored the sharp look Xerxes sent my way. Glaring at the half sleepy little trouble in my arms, I swept her off her feet. "Hey, what are you doing? You're going to kiss me again?!" She giggled and began to play with my beard. "You better not regret what you're doing tonight in the morning when you get that?" I chuckled and took her out of the house.

Aelia was going to be the death of Cyrus Jackson, that was official.
