Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Trial of Truth

The howling wind outside Azkaban's stone walls was nothing compared to the cold inside his soul.

Eli Archer had once been a promising Ravenclaw — top of his class, quiet, intelligent, unassuming. A Muggle-born with a knack for Charms and an unusual affinity for Legilimency that had emerged far too early for someone untrained. But no one knew the real reason.

Because when Eli turned eleven, he absorbed the soul of a dying man — a wandering Legilimens from another reality. One who had lived, breathed, and bled in the world of Harry Potter — a world that, to Eli's horror, was now real.

In this world, James and Lily Potter were alive. Harry Potter was a brash, proud Gryffindor. And he had a younger sister — Iris Potter — a curious, gifted witch with a sharp tongue and kind eyes. She was Eli's best friend… and the reason his life fell apart.

A single party. A spiked drink. A pureblood boy with power and pedigree.A misunderstanding. A manipulated memory. And then came the trial.

"I swear I didn't touch her!" Eli had shouted as the Wizengamot's cold eyes stared at him with disgust.

But Sirius Black, furious and blinded by love for his goddaughter, had broken all decorum and entered the holding cell before the verdict. One word from his wand — "Crucio!" — had ripped through Eli's nerves like fire on dry parchment. They said it was a moment of rage. They said it wouldn't happen again.

Dumbledore, seated silently during the trial, said nothing of the truth he knew.Because the accused was a Muggle-born.And the culprit… the drug slip hidden in the wine… was a proud son of the House of Rosier.

Better to sacrifice one boy than spark a war among the old families.

Eli Archer, age fifteen, was sentenced to Azkaban for ten years.

But inside those icy walls, he swore. He would survive. He would rise.He would return.

And this time, he wouldn't be the Ravenclaw they dismissed.

He would be their reckoning.
