Trying to recover mentally from the embarrassment of being seen naked, I quickly dress. Deliberately ignoring the pain shooting from my shoulder and side as I do.
After getting dress, I sit back down to and rub my face but I can only ask again."Why was I naked..."
Choosing to ignore the fact that Tiche was the only one in the apartment after I fell asleep, I slowly get back up and walk towards the door.
"I'm opening the door! Don't worry, I'm dressed this time." I say through the door a second before I open it.
What greeted me was my living room filled with people. The entire Sitri and Gremory Peerage were present.
Most of the girls from the Sitri can't meet my eyes and even the president and vice president seem to have faint blushes.
Rias's peerage is almost entirely different. Rias is looking at me like I owe her money, Akenois giving a knowing look as she observes the Sitri Peerage.
Koneko is just not paying attention as she has one of.. wait is that one of my workout towels? Why does she have that?
Yuuto is just giving me an amused smile for some reason, honestly makes me want to fight him.
Seeing no one speaking, I clear my throat, overwhelmed with the amount of people present. I'm like 90% certain that some new furniture has appeared, my couch has gotten larger and there's a second one.
"So uh.. what's on the agenda."
My words seem to jolt people from their stupor as they all gain their composure, except Koneko, she seems oddly interested in what she's doing.
The first to speak is Sona, or who I refer to as President, "Sam... Are you ok?"
"Uh... I think? I don't feel like I'm dying at the moment and I feel way better then when I woke up earlier this morning or was that last night?" My biological clock is kinda fucked right now, I blame the near death experience.
The one to respond to me wasn't Sona, but Rias. "It's good that you're no longer on death's door, but we need to move on to official business."
Okay, so I know her words say that she was worried, but her expression doesn't seem like she cares. Which stands out in the room. What the hell did I do to her?
"Well, if that's fine with everyone else?" I say as I try to keep my frustration from showing, but luckily Momo comes in with a save.
"Rias. It hasn't even been twenty four hours since he was dying, he needs to rest, talking about this isn't appropriate at the moment."
As Rias's attention is drawn away from to Momo, Sona speaks up as well. "Momo has a point, we're here for a personal visit, not a for business."
Rias looks between Momo and Sona as she verbally backs down. "Fine. Sam, I apologize for pushing this but this is a potential invasion from the Fallen Angel faction, Grigori. So we will need to speak about this with lin the next day or two."
Hearing Rias apologizing and explaining herself dissipated most, if not all, my frustration. "I'll be honest, to fast track things, I have no idea who attacked me, all I know is that they think I'm part of the church. Since this is the first time I've been up since the ambush I will need some time for my thoughts together."
Seeing me give at least some information, Rias changed from her grumpy expression to a small smile. "Thank you, Sam. While it might not seem like a lot, that information is useful."
I gave her a nod, honestly with my current level of strength Ill leave the big decisions with those who are capable. I'm still in my training arc for now and that'll be my focus until my Gym Nut trait says other wise.
As I thought to myself, I see all the girls (And Yuuto) turn towards Tiche.
I feel a large headache incoming as I quickly speak up. "I'll explain who she is and why she is here later, it's just... Complicated..."
Rias seems to piece together something as she looks between me and Tiche. "Is she the one responsible for that wound?"
It takes me a second to remember exactly what Rias is referring to and I recall that I told her that someone else was responsible for that Stray Devil on my first day of school.
Giving her another nod, she looks pleased with herself. Was that discovery really that big?
Speaking of Tiche, she's been standing by my side since I've started the conversation and now that the important bits are out the way and people start talking, I feel a few irritated stares on me.
Looking at the culprits most recent their eyes again causing me to raise an eyebrow. Either be embarrassed or continue your stares, don't confuse me like this.
The first of the Sitri Peerage members to recover was Yusa as she tried to start a conversation with me.
"So, S-sam, when do you think you'll be healed?"
As I think on how to respond to her, Tiche cuts in. "My Lord will need 3-5 days of recovery and will need to be removed from only heavy duty tasks for at least a week afterwards."
And the room went silent again, for me I was stunned into silence by Tiche's apparent expertise but the rest of the room? It was her comment about me being her lord.
I'm going to need to come up with a better story for Tiche then I originally had planned I think.
"Don't think too much about her remark, like I said earlier, I'll explain it when I find a way to make it not as complicated." My words seem to have some effect but the awkwardness seems to linger.
"Okay, okay, maybe there's too many people here let's just.. Give me a day, alright? I'll talk to you all later." A tactical retreat, a legacy passed down by a famous family, but I'm sure they didn't use it to run away from a conversation.
As I re-enter my room, I breathe a sigh of relief, glad to be out of that situation before it spiralled into something I couldn't talk out of..
Once I lay back down my mind goes over what the system gave me before.
Ability Combinations.
Ideally, the combos i'd be hoping for are those that are greater then the sum of their parts.
While I don't know exactly what the combos limits are, that's for me to find out.
An immediate choice is Lightning Claws + Lightning Breath.

Hmm, so it acts like the synergy effect for Traits. Not all traits boosts each and even when they do, they'll have various levels of increase.
