Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Patients

Patient 1: Margaret L., age 38. Former schoolteacher. Found unresponsive in her home, muttering about "the humming behind the walls."

Patient 2: Alex J., age 27. Musician. Institutionalized after attempting to remove his own ears, claiming the sounds were "inside his skull."

Patient 3: Dr. Henry Vallis, age 56. Former psychiatrist at Raven Hollow. Was discovered locked in the old basement records room, incoherent, scribbling symbols in his own blood.

Patient 4: Louise M., age 42. Artist. Her paintings turned progressively darker before her silence. Last words recorded: "It's watching from the vents."

Patient 5: Unidentified male, estimated mid-30s. No name, no history. Brought in by police after being found crawling outside the asylum, whispering the phrase: "Don't let it know you see it."

Jonathan began daily observations, but none responded. They sat still, eyes glazed or fixated on specific corners of the room. Cameras placed in the rooms malfunctioned regularly. Recordings captured odd interference—low hums and whispers in languages no one recognized.
