Chapter 5 - The Professor of Shadows

—He didn't come to teach. He came to dismantle the crown.

Berlin – Heinrich Von Falken University, 1:07 PM

Faculty Wing, Main Campus

The hum of polished tires came to a halt in front of the administrative building. A sleek black car, jet-toned and spotless, reflected the sunlight like a mirror forged from silence and danger. The chauffeur didn't move. But the passenger door opened slowly, deliberately.A man stepped out.

Tall.

Sharp.

Impossibly composed.Dressed in a black button-up formal shirt tucked neatly into slim-cut trousers, his presence was enough to silence the buzz of conversation near the stairwell. Some students paused mid-walk. A few girls actually stopped breathing for a moment. His face was chiseled, mature yet youthful, marked by the kind of stillness that made you uneasy if you looked too long. His dark hair was slicked back perfectly, jawline razor-sharp, eyes cold with purpose. Every inch of him screamed danger and elegance in one breath. This was Lukas Richard.

But here, he was known by another name:

Professor Lukas Schneider — Head of IT, 3rd Semester. He walked with the ease of a man who had been in control of rooms far deadlier than any classroom. His boots tapped on the marble tiles as he entered the building, his ID already pre-approved. He moved directly toward the Principal's Office.

Inside, Principal Gerhardt Weber, a seasoned man with silver hair and decades of experience, was mid-sip of his coffee when the door opened.

He looked up—And immediately stood.

"Mr. Schnei— I mean, Professor Schneider!" the principal corrected himself quickly, placing his cup down. "Welcome to Heinrich Von Falken University. It's… an honor."

Lukas only nodded once, eyes scanning the room without interest. "I was told everything is arranged.""Yes, yes, of course." The principal handed him a leather-bound folder. "Your faculty profile is active. Department access granted. Your cabin is ready. We've informed the staff of your appointment."

"I want discretion," Lukas said smoothly. "No fanfare. No unnecessary meetings. I'm here for one department only.""Understood."

Minutes later, Lukas was led by an assistant to the Faculty Room.As he entered, conversations died.A row of professors, most in their forties and fifties, suddenly stood straighter. Some recognized his face. Others, his family name. A few had never met him but felt something shift in the air.

"Good afternoon, Professor Schneider," one said nervously, extending a hand. "We've been briefed about your arrival."Lukas shook his hand lightly. "Save the formality."

They introduced themselves one by one—Mathematics, Programming, AI Development, Cybernetics. Each professor offered a piece of the college's structure, their voices careful, composed. One of them cleared his throat. "You've been assigned as Head of the IT Department's 3rd Semester. It's the largest and most… chaotic batch. Mostly due to one particular student."

Another chuckled nervously. "Henry Vinson."Lukas didn't react. He simply turned the folder's page.Inside was a list of all 3rd semester students, complete with grades, records, remarks. And there it was."Henry Vinson"ID No: 3IT-HV292

Academic Standing: Top ranker

Remarks: Unpredictable, Arrogant, Disruptive, Elite status holder

Disciplinary Fines: Paid in full before deadlines .Influence Status: Untouchable

The corner of Lukas's mouth twitched—but not into a smile. He closed the file."I'll take it from here.""You'll have full authority over the 3rd semester's academic flow," one professor added quickly. "No one else is assigned to them now. As per your… personal request.""Good," Lukas replied flatly. They led him to his cabin. It was sleek, quiet, glass-walled, overlooking the main courtyard. As he set the file down on his desk, Lukas sat back in the leather chair, unbuttoned the top of his shirt, and lit a cigarette. He took one long drag, eyes on the student list. His finger tapped once on the name Henry Vinson. "Let's see if you're still the same… or just wearing the crown I buried years ago."Outside the window, in the far garden, Henry was tossing a paper ball at Felix while Max ran around trying to catch it.

Lukas watched without blinking. The game had begun.

3:03 PM — Behind the Walls of Heinrich Von Falken University

Some kingdoms have gates. Henry Vinson's had shortcuts.

The sun hung low but golden as the college clock struck past three. The lecture halls were still echoing with professors' voices and clattering keyboards. But on the far edge of the university campus—behind the art block, past the rusted water tank, and just beyond the last CCTV range—Henry Vinson and his infamous crew had already escaped.

"Careful, Max," Henry chuckled, landing smoothly after jumping the brick wall, brushing dust from his designer pants. "You break your ankle again, I'm not carrying you this time.""I didn't break it last time!" Max huffed as he tried to scale down clumsily. "I just... slid with style."Felix, already on the other side, burst out laughing. "Yeah, style that involved screaming like a stuck cat."

Timo landed next with ease, then turned to help the two girls who had followed them—Sophia and Alina, both from the law department, both dressed too well to be sneaking through a forest, but clearly thrilled to be included. The place they were headed wasn't just any forest.

It was the "Green Silence"—a thick, beautifully wild patch of woods tucked just behind the college campus, officially off-limits to students, unofficially claimed by Henry as his own private escape."Are you sure this is safe?" Alina whispered, stepping carefully over a root in her heels.Henry glanced back over his shoulder, mischief in his eyes. "Sweetheart, the only danger in this forest is… me."The group laughed, the trees closing in around them as they made their way to the usual clearing. It was a perfect spot—flat ground, encircled by tall trees, sunlight filtering through like golden confetti. No professors. No security. No eyes.As soon as they reached, Felix dropped the speakers from his backpack.

Bass dropped.

Music thumped.

Henry popped open the beer cans and passed them around like candy.Jonas stayed seated on a large rock nearby, watching quietly with a faint smirk as Timo pulled Sophia into a casual dance. Max tried to keep up, his hands already sweaty with the first sip of alcohol. But Henry…

He moved like the music belonged to him.

The moment he stepped forward, the world shifted. He throws his hoodie away. His shirt was slightly unbuttoned, sleeves rolled up, and his black chain glinted at the collarbone. He grabbed Alina by the wrist, pulling her gently into a spin, then dipped her low with a teasing smirk. She laughed—loud and breathless. He didn't let go.

Instead, he whispered into her ear, eyes still locked on Sophia behind her."Don't worry, I never drop what I hold."The girls didn't stop him. They leaned in closer, drawn to the gravity that Henry carried. His hand skimmed down Alina's waist as he moved behind her, dancing, confident, arrogant, untouchable.

Sophia stepped in next. He reached for her neck, brushing her hair aside with the back of his fingers before tracing her jaw with slow intensity. His hand roaming over alina's body. He squeezes her butt's. Sophia touched his chest from behind. He grabbed Sophias neck and moves her to his chest in a sudden grab and he squeezes her chest . Both the girls give themselves in Henry's hand . For the girls, collage rich ,smart, handsome boy was touching them was their magic moment but for Henry it was not new because he never been intimate with any girls he just rather prefer to touch and tease them. Henry's fingers rubbing on Sophias nipples through her clothes and she gasped. Henry was enjoying the way his teasing worked on them. She didn't flinch. She leaned in.

Felix whistled. "Should we even be here? Feels like we just crashed a royal harem."

"Let the king play," Timo grinned. "We're just the audience."Henry turned, his hand sliding from Sophia's shoulder to her lower back, eyes darkening just a shade. "You both came with me," he said quietly between beats, "So don't act shy now. If you stay in the forest… you dance by my rules."

The girls nodded, entranced.Music pulsed. Laughter echoed. The scent of fresh earth, beer, and trouble filled the air.And somewhere in the distance, a faint vibration hummed. He was too busy dancing in the fire he created, unaware that the shadows he once forgot had already crossed the walls after him.
