Chapter 1 - REHAN

The sky began to darken, all activities stopped, several people wearing black robes rode horses through the town square, the whole city became chaotic because of that, but because of a ban not a single resident was seen outside the house.

The city's activities that were previously busy suddenly turned quiet because it was the change of hours, the black-robed people went to an abandoned temple that was right in the middle of the town square, for some reason the temple was abandoned, the people got off their horses and walked into the temple, when they opened the old door of the temple, inside there was a man who had been sitting in the middle of the temple as if he had been waiting for them.

One of the men from the black-robed group raised a torch and began to speak, his voice was heavy and slightly hoarse, his face was covered by a mask, but what was clear was that in his right eye a sword slash could be seen.

"Rehan, give up, this is your end."

The man sitting in the middle of the temple suddenly laughed as light filled the room, the man's appearance was now clear, a sword was stuck in his shoulder and several other parts of his body were stuck with arrows, his hair was messy and almost all of his clothes were torn from the slashes, but the man's eyes still showed a strong determination as he held a sword in his hand.

The robed man's eyes just narrowed seeing him who could still laugh, but now it was clear from his words that the man who was sitting and looked critical was named Rehan, the man then started to raise his hand giving a signal to his subordinates to draw their bows.

The man stared at Rehan sharply then continued to speak in a harsh tone.

"Any last words old man?"

Rehan just smiled, instead of accepting his fate he suddenly stood up then ran towards them using the rest of his strength, he ran as hard as he could, but the man immediately lowered his hand giving a signal to shoot, instantly in a matter of seconds Rehan's body was showered with arrows.

Even though he had been showered with so many arrows he did not stop running, Rehan ran then raised his sword, and swung it with all his might towards the man's neck, the man easily deflected Rehan's attack using his sword, he then immediately kicked Rehan's body until he fell instead of ending it immediately.

The man stared at Rehan sharply, he seemed to look down on Rehan, his smile looked satisfied seeing Rehan's critical condition, he walked slowly his footsteps were slow, but the sound of his shoes filled the temple room, he then raised his sword and pointed it right at Rehan's heart.

although the man's smile was hidden by his mask but Rehan could see it clearly, Rehan gritted his teeth then spoke in an angry tone.

"You all don't think you can stop me today?"

The man didn't seem to respond too much to Rehan's words, instead of replying he immediately stabbed Rehan's heart using his sword, his eyes were sharp and his decision was final, then he spoke in a harsh tone.

"Goodbye dragon slayer, strongest knight, and also, father."

The man called Rehan by the name of father, he then immediately left Rehan who was lying dying in the middle of the abandoned temple alone, he gave a signal to his subordinates to immediately follow him and leave the temple.

Rehan who was lying alone in the temple with a sword stuck in his heart still maintained his consciousness using his orm, orm is an energy that has been accumulated in a person's body and then forged through extreme training, is a magical energy that can increase life force and strength.

Rehan could still breathe because of his orm but he had lost a lot of blood, and his vision began to blur, he then spoke in a weak tone.

"Haha I wonder when did this all start."

He muttered then his eyes began to close he finally spent his last breath in the temple, and died alone with many arrows in his body and a sword stuck right in his heart.
