Buried beneath mountains of cursed obsidian, it pulsed with forbidden magic. Here stood the fortress of the dark guild Annihilation Void, and its master—Xtermisus—had returned.
He walked the silent halls like a revenant, his expression unreadable. The guards saluted, half in awe, half in fear.
In the central chamber, the council of Annihilation Void waited.
"Did you kill him?" asked a masked woman with snake tattoos.
"No," Xtermisus replied.
Silence fell.
"I saw potential in him. In Julius. He reminded me… of who I was before the flames took everything."
The room shifted, some whispering rebellion.
"Enough," Xtermisus declared, his magic leaking into the floor. "Our purpose remains. We cleanse what the gods have corrupted. But now—we may not walk that path alone."
He raised the Seventh Key.
Then the room shook.
From the deepest chamber of Necron Spire, a seal broke. A cry echoed up like claws raking the soul.
"WHAT… DARES… WAKE ME?"
An ancient being stirred.
The Nameless Hollow, a formless entity sealed before time. A fragment of the void left behind when the gods forged existence.
It spoke in thought.
"You who gather the Keys… you open the door… to me."
Xtermisus clutched his chest. The seal his wife left behind glowed—a charm to protect his heart from absolute despair.
His eyes widened. "It's reacting…"
Back in Pendralune, Julius collapsed.
He saw visions—withered worlds, time frozen, life unmade.
The Clock of Glory let out a sharp crack.
"Kairon!" Julius gasped. "Something's awakening… something older than time."
Kairon paled.
"The Void isn't just absence. It's hunger. Julius, the final battle may not be between light and dark… but between being and nothingness."
