Chapter 56 - EPILOGUE

Years had passed. The streets of the UK were safer than they had ever been. Crime rates had plummeted, and the mere mention of Alexander Bluestone's name sent shivers down the spines of criminals. He was no longer just a detective—he was a legend.

In schools, universities, and training academies, the younger generation spoke his name with admiration. They studied his cases, memorized his strategies, and aspired to follow his principles. He had become more than a man—he was an ideal, a force that reshaped the country's justice system.

But for Alexander, none of it mattered more than the life he had built with the woman beside him.

Under the Night Sky

The soft rustling of the grass filled the quiet air as Alexander and Rose lay side by side in the open field behind their mansion. The night sky stretched infinitely above them, dotted with shimmering stars. A peaceful silence enveloped them, the kind of silence that didn't need to be filled with words.

Rose turned her head slightly, gazing at the man she had chosen—the man who had chosen her. "Can you believe it?" she murmured. "After everything we've been through… we're finally here."

Alexander smirked, his sharp eyes reflecting the moonlight. "I can. Because I never doubted it for a second."

She chuckled softly. "You and that unshakable confidence."

He turned his head to look at her. "I was confident because I knew one thing, Rose. No matter what happened, no matter how dark the road got… I was always going to end up here. With you."

She felt her heart swell at his words.

"You changed me, Alexander," she admitted, tightening her grip on his hand. "You taught me how to move forward, how to heal. How to live again. If I hadn't met you… I don't know where I'd be."

Alexander smiled, his thumb brushing against her knuckles. "And you taught me that life isn't just about the mission. That there's something worth fighting for beyond the chase. I was always chasing something, Rose. But you… you were the only thing I wanted to catch and never let go."

Tears welled in her eyes as she turned fully toward him. "Then promise me… no matter what happens, we stay together. Always."

He smirked, sitting up slightly. "Rose Bluestone… you have my word. Forever together."

She smiled, squeezing his hand. "Forever together."

Under the infinite night sky, their hands remained intertwined—a silent vow that no force, no darkness, no challenge would ever tear them apart.

And so, Alexander and Rose Bluestone stayed together—forever.

"Justice is not merely the absence of crime, but the presence of a will strong enough to stand against the darkness—unwavering, unbroken, and willing to sacrifice everything. In the end, true strength is not found in the fear one instills, but in the love one chooses to protect."
