The ship rapidly soared through hyperspace, having escaped the clutches of the imperium, but not all was as good as it seemed. Inside the control, the ship's danger signal roared to life. On the outside pieces from the hull of the ship, fell apart completely, turning to dust. The silver figure stood in the middle of it all, its silver tentacles rapidly moving, attempting to solve the matter, but ten more popped up as one was fixed.
A holographic screen appeared, closing all the others. It was a diagram of the ship he had currently, but major sections of it were red, showing the level of damage the ship had and was taken from warping. More and more regions were turning red at a rapid pace. The reason the ship hadn't already been turned into a pile of rubble was due to the shield still being active
The ship's warning systems blared, but strangely, the silver figure stood there calm as ever, and with a swipe of its tentacle, the warning system disappeared. And with another, he pressed a button.
The spaceship sped into and out of hyperspace as it came to a stop deep in space, smoke rising from its gigantic figure. In the ship's control panel, warning systems blared again, a pipe broke, flooding the room with white gas, though this didn't seem to bother the silver figure.
Multiple sections are damaged, requiring repair.>
The figure expanded the holographic image of the ship in front of him, checking that the engine part was a light shade of green, one of the few that was in ok shape after that hasty warp. He tapped on it. As long as the engine was fine, everything else would be fine. He began redirecting power from the ship to power other systems.
He pressed another button, which released a pulse from the ship into space. After a while, the pulses return, getting picked up by the ship.
The silver figure stooped briefly in its actions. Location unknown? It thought. Warping sent a ship to the desired coordinates, and the coordinates he had inputted should have warped him close to his homeworld, and even considering the warping had ended earlier than expected, he should still be close to the intended location.
It decided to shelve that problem for later. It needed to repair itself.
After months, the ship had finally finished its repairs to the best of its capabilities, but not fully; it had run out of materials, so it floated through space looking for a rogue planet or an asteroid belt, which it could mine for resources. During this time, the figure had tried numerously to find its location, only to end up with the conclusion that something had occurred during warping, sending it into deep space. But this didn't faze the silver figure, it would return to its whole, the Omnisiah.
Suddenly, its systems detected something.
Its attention snapped to the notification. A solar system would be perfect; there would be multiple planets where resources could be found easily. But it didn't rush, first reconnaissance. It clicked the holographic panel.
From the outside, a compartment of the ship opened up as the probe was launched in the direction of the star system. Its top glowed red as it sped through space. The silver figure silently waited for information to judge its next step.
After a week of waiting, the probe drifted back to the escort. The same compartment opened, accepting the probe. Another screen appeared in front of the figure, unpacking the information collected.
The silver figure twitched. Ignoring every other information but one. Organic life detected.
A shiver ran through the figure's body. And on its expressionless visage, 2 eyes appeared on its silver face, a red deeper than blood. They cast a menacing light on the surroundings. Organic life was the enemy of the Omnisiah, and by extension, an enemy of it.
Any and all organic life needed to be eradicated, and considering there were materials present needed for repairs, it was a win-win scenario.
The ship's thrusters turned on, together with the weapon systems coming online. The ship changed course, approaching the solar system.
