Apocalypse Ascension

Justin was a man with no goals in his life, nothing around him made him think they were worth having. Only a fading memory of his dead mother kept him going. “Survive…my…son…” At the bottom of society, Justin lived off crumbs and scraps, the sparks of ambition most clung to was long gone in him, so when the world descended into utter Hell it didn’t faze him, if anything his life was already a living hell. Gifted an advantage over the entirety of humanity at the very start, maybe, just maybe, the end of the world could awaken something inside him.
