Chapter 2 - Dinner For Two

"Cheers!"

The resonating sound of people clanging their glasses filled the roadside restaurant.

"Oh my, what am I doing here?" Hee-Mang murmured as he looked aro, und with a disappointed look on his face.

*Just an hour ago*

"Hee-Mang"

Hearing his name, he looked back and saw his Unnie running after him. He stopped walking, so she could catch up.

"Hee-Mang" she said when she finally reached his side.

They both waited there awhile, waiting for her to catch her breath

"Ha, Hee-Mang" she finally said after awhile

"Wanna join me for some drinks over dinner?"

Hee-Mang didn't think twice before the answer 'yes' slipped out of his mouth.

*At the Roadside Restaurant*

"Ha. How I regret it." he said as he looked around again.

He had expected a dinner for two, but instead, he got a dinner for a whole group. Her club members were present. Why didn't she tell him that it was a dinner for her club? Why did she even invite him even though he wasn't a member of her club?

He tried not to think too much, so he held his cup of beer and gulped it down. He knew he wasn't a heavy drinker, but he couldn't bear being in the midst of people in this way. He wanted to be wasted quickly, so that he and his Unnie would leave early. It was indeed a good plan. As soon as he banged his empty cup on the table, he heard the noise of the people beside him cheering him on, as they filled his cup.

He looked up and saw excitement on their faces, or was it the look of being entertained he could see on their faces? Did it matter? Of course not. They were only helping him in getting drunk faster. He picked up the cup and gulped it down again, only for the cheers to increase and for his eyesight to get blurry.

"Pour him another.

He heard someone say. He heard the fizzling of the beer as it was being poured into his cup. He felt a hand stop him as he was about to gulp down the third cup. The touch felt familiar, and he could tell who the hand belonged to. He was only just confused as to when she stood up from the other side of the table and when she got to his side.

"Yoo-na unnie" he called out as he turned his head to look in the direction of where the hand came from. His blurry eyesight betrayed him and didn't let him see the worried look on his Unnie's face.

"That's enough Hee-Manga, no more drinks."

This was not what he wanted to hear.

'Ha' he thought to himself 'I nearly thought she was gonna say "let's go home" but she doesn't. Very well, I'm gonna get myself very drunk till I can't move.'

He picked up the cup with his other hand and drank from it. After drinking it, he looked at his Unnie with a soft laugh that showcased his teeth.

"Don't worry Unnie, beer can't get me drunk."

He felt her remove her hand from his, and with his blurry eyesight, he saw her sit beside him by his left.
