In the realm of humans, a portal slowly creaked open, and Shiba Isshin, the captain of the 10th Division of Gotei 13, descended from the sky above Naruki City, clad in a captain's haori, with his Zanpakutō secured at his side.
This was the site where four previous Shinigami had met their mysterious end, all of which occurred on rainy days, as the downpour effectively concealed Reiatsu fluctuations.
At that moment, two members assigned to monitor the human realm detected a shift in Reiatsu emanating from the vicinity of the portal and hurried in that direction. Along the way, they voiced their frustrations:
"Damn it! Rainy days are truly bothersome! "
Before the other could respond, a voice called out from behind:
"Hey! How's it going! "
The sudden appearance of Shiba Isshin startled the two Shinigami, prompting them to exclaim:

Before anyone realized it, midnight arrived, heralding the anticipated downpour. Shiba Isshin attentively scanned his surroundings, while the two Shinigami, urged to leave, hesitated.
After all, the two were responsible for guarding Naruki City. If they returned too hastily, they would surely face scrutiny, and if they abandoned their captain and concealed themselves, an investigation would inevitably follow.
After much consideration, the pair opted to remain hidden and observe. With Captain Shiba present, they felt it prudent to watch. As the rain intensified, Shiba Isshin pondered whether the entity targeting Shinigami held animosity or simply had a heightened sensitivity to elevated Reiatsu.
"Then let's test it with Reiatsu! " The instant Isshin unleashed his captain-level Reiatsu, a scream pierced the air.

The duo hiding in the shadows vanished in an instant. When Isshin became aware of the situation, only two pools of blood remained on the ground.

The demise of the two Shinigami ignited Isshin's fury and feelings of guilt. Just as he was about to sprint over for a closer look, a loud "boom" erupted behind him.
Turning his head, Isshin was met with a cloud of smoke and debris. However, as the intense rain began to wash away the remnants of the landing, the smoke quickly faded, revealing a dark figure.
"Who is this? " Just as Isshin was filled with curiosity, the figure advanced toward him. When Isshin finally caught sight of the entity, he was momentarily taken aback, questioning its nature.
"Is this a black hollow. . . ? "
He observed a figure adorned with a hollow mask, its entire form shrouded in thick black armor, complete with a sharp horn protruding from its head. However, unlike typical hollows, this being lacked the characteristic hole in its body.
Before Isshin could examine it further, the creature abruptly unleashed a fearsome roar into the sky:
"RooooOOAAAA——"
Almost immediately, a powerful Reiatsu erupted from the beast, overwhelming Isshin and prompting him to grip his Zanpakutō tightly.
"I understand now; its entire body is completely black, the hole is obscured for some reason, but its appearance and malevolent Reiatsu leave no doubts! "
In an instant, the creature lunged at Isshin, slashing with the long black blade it wielded.

Isshin drew his Zanpakutō to engage with the creature, but the foe's immense strength, comparable to that of a Captain's Reiatsu, matched his own. He pushed against the pressure with his arm, attempting to slice the creature with a powerful strike.

A massive blue arc of energy cleaved a deep gash into the beast's shoulder, yet the moment the creature let out a howl, the wound began to heal at an astonishing rate.
"Its armor is incredibly tough. What on earth is this thing? " His full-on assault at such close quarters resulted in only minor injuries to the enemy, far beyond what Isshin had anticipated.
Meanwhile, Ichimaru Gin, observing the monster from a remote location on the screen, narrowed his eyes in skepticism, remarking:
"Odd, isn't this the captain of the 10th squad? What's he doing here? The Soul Society hadn't announced his arrival in this world. Could it be that he's acting independently? "
Aizen, standing nearby, responded with a smile,
"Well then, this is an unexpected surprise. Gin, let's observe more closely. "
Aizen appeared intrigued by how events were unfolding unexpectedly, not just for himself but also for Shiba Isshin's sudden entrance. Fiander considered this, yet still asked,

Before Shiba Isshin could contemplate further, White surged forward once more, charging at him, and the pair clashed anew, with Isshin's surprise only escalating.
Even though the adversary bore the form of a hollow, his combat style and techniques resembled those of Shinigami closely.
"What is happening…"
At that moment, a Shinigami dashed toward them, glancing at Isshin and White in combat, leaving Isshin flabbergasted.
Oh no! I've mistakenly crossed the boundary.
In the skirmish against White, they had unwittingly moved into Karakura Town's vicinity and reached the boundary where other Shinigami were stationed.
Just then, White suddenly disregarded Shiba Isshin and turned his attention to the Shinigami observing in terror. A glimmer sparkled on his forehead, and a beam of purple light shot toward that Shinigami.
"STOP! "

With a tremendous explosion, Isshin managed to use his Zanpakutō to shield himself at the last second, but the Shinigami behind him was still caught in the blast and perished instantly.
Isshin was filled with shock and fury, recognizing that the monster had clearly utilized Cero. "Cero" is a special ability of the Menos Grande lineage. It was evident this creature had been intentionally placed in the world.
Gripping his Zanpakutō tightly, Isshin addressed White, "Tch! Tell me, who sent you here? "
However, White had no intention of communicating with Isshin, offering only a deep growl in response.
"Not going to answer, huh? No matter; I'll eliminate you here! "
"Burn! ENGETSU! ! "
As he proclaimed this, the entirety of his Zanpakutō blade ignited in intense flames, and the flickering flames danced gracefully as if imbued with life.
After enduring a lengthy battle, Isshin finally unleashed his Zanpakutō!
