Chapter 32 - CH.26 Metaphors

The group walked through the Rufty Mountains under the night sky. Rocks jagged protrude from the ground, and large mountains that towered them were standing side by side from each other, some scattered.

Crickets were heard in the night, while birds flew through the sky above the clouds. The walk was slow and silent, Dark Don led the group. Nobody was talking after the last discussion, until someone decided to speak up.

"So, who's the purple Zenith? Olsen warned us about him, and we barely got any information. Also, who's Duke?" Daysni asked. Dark Don turned to her, "You mean Krane? See, Krane is a former Zenith.

He got obsessed with power just like Incarceration, so he went into his own path... That watch he wears allows him to maximize or combine his spiritual and thermal energy." "And Duke, I don't wanna talk about Duke.... His story is too much."

Lonnie Mae got curious, "You sure? What happened to him?" Dark Don sighed, "You really want to know about the Story of Duke?" He coughed a little, and then he looked down once. "Look, if this is gonna be disturbing I'm covering my ears," Jaiver said as he covered his ears. Dark Don rolled his eyes, "Alright, you guys asked for it." "So when Duke was a little boy, only about the age of 10, he had lovable parents. Parents that he'd never trade for, he loved him, and his parent's loved him back. He was a kid with no race, which means he had a condition called "Avangardios". A condition where an Avangard citizen does not have a race, but is in a tribe. He was in the Celestianite tribe, but he wasn't any race. Many people had mistaken him as a Lunaranite because of his Neon Element. Everything was going so well for him, but things took a change when the CL War continued... Lunaranites raided his family's home at the age of 12, and then they killed his parents in the most violent way possible. When Duke heard the news, he rushed to the Iris Town hospital to go see his parents. But he was too late, they were dead. He cried, and cried, and cried, and cried. He cried until he lost all of his tears, and after realizing that the Lunaranites killed his entire family, he cried some more. They killed all of his siblings, his aunts, his uncles, his cousins, his grandparents, the Lunaranites killed every single one of them. They even killed all of his best friends, in the most brutal ways too. He watched all of them die, and then he was to the point where he tried to kill himself. He stabbed himself into the heart, three times in a row with a sharp dagger. But instead, the Regeneration Z. healed his heart. He made sure he helped Duke with all of his problems, but Duke was too sad and too angry to even need help. All of that anger went into his heart, and then his heart started to become visible from the chest. It was completely black, and it glowed a dark neon green around the heart. The heart was neon energy storage for his Element, but if it beats too fast and it glows, he uses too much energy which can drain him. The pain lingered him so much that he thought, 'Why must I suffer this, I shall take revenge...' And so he did. He killed every Luanranite he saw on sight, and he never trusted any other tribes ever since, even his own tribe. He hated the wars, he wanted them to stop. But he couldn't change the world himself could he? Nobody knows why he's searching for the Power Gems, but it might be for a good or dangerous cause..."

Silence erupted, nobody said a word. The only thing that was heard was the wind howling, but nothing else. The story itself was so emotional.

It was powerful, coming from Dark Don. But after Dark Don told the story, he thought to himself.

"Am I like Duke?" He thought about it a few times, and then he shook his head to ignore it.The crew walked along the flatlands of the Rufty Mountains, and then they finally entered the end of the Grolian Forest. Large green trees that were wet and were completely surrounded by large fern bushes and leaves were sitting right in front of them. It looked like a whole jungle because of the amount of trees foresting the area.

But there was a large mossy cave in the middle of the exit, and it was hidden by the leaves and gigantic ferns. Dark Don walked in, his cybernetic shoes squelching the mud. "What are you doing?" Mason asked as he watched Dark Don. Dark Don sliced through the leaves and ferns with his other arm that was made out of lunar energy.

As he cut through them, a massive cave appeared right in front of them. There were lights in the cave that emerged from it, and then Dark Don turned to the group, cocking his head towards the entrance of the cave. "Welcome to the Forgotten Wizard's Domain..." It was Starla. The Celestianite Dragon princess with her protector Scorch. In the dim lit cave, Scourge Don just stood there, staring at them both.

He hissed, and then Starla walked towards him, unfazed. Scorch went with her, hissing back at Don. "You're the guy that I met back at the Rufty Mountains! Why are you here now? Why are you even dirtier than before?" Starla said, looking around Don's body filled with curiosity.

"BACK AWAY!" Don in his Scourge State shouted. Starla scoffed, "Oh, well you've got some attitude." "I don't need your help, nor anyone's help. I'll just go if you leave me be," Scourge Don walked away. Starla grabbed his tail, lifting him up.

"Not like that you are! I mean look at you! You're so ugly!" "PUT ME DOWN YOU DOLTED CELESTIANITE!" Scourge Don cried once again. He tried moving around, but then Starla gently placed him down. Don got up and he backed away, "Now I have other things to do than spending time messing around with you!" Starla grabbed Don in her talons once again, "Nope, you're going to take a bath, and we're gonna talk about this! This isn't how the Chosen One of the prophecy is going to be!"

Don groaned as Scorch followed Starla from behind.

They walked out of the cave, and then she threw Don down. Don felt a jolt of pain after being shot onto the ground, and then he got up, dusting off his dirty hero suit.

"Now let's get into someone's house and clean you up!" Starla exclaimed excitedly. Don looked around the place, ignoring her.

There were large pink and red towers, with a slim castle in the middle. They were crowded against each other, and there were so many Blushinites flying in the air with their red, white, and pink wings in the air.

Hearts were fluttering in the sky, and sounds of laughter and giggles filled the air. The sky was in an orange and pink hue, acting like a blanket over the land. Scourge Don just stared at the place, and then the Don inside of him thought to himself. "Why me..." Scourge Don pushed him away from the mind, and he turned to Starla and Scorch. "Where do we go?" Starla grabbed Don with her talons, and she put him on her back.

Don sat, and Scorch stayed real close just in case Don tried to do anything. Starla spread her wings in the air, "Let's go!" They took off into the sky.

Starla flapped her wings, feeling the warm breeze touch her scales. She flew to the side with her wings spread, twirled. Scorch flew straight, and he stared at Don.

They went over the clouds, and then Don started to hear the sounds of the Blushinites singing with some Soundanites. Their ethereal voices were so captivating and beautiful, Starla admired them so much.

She and Scorch dove down to the entrance of a large pink painted tower, then they both landed on the ground. Hundreds of thousands of people were surrounding the area, some going to shops while some just stood around flirting with others.

The golden gates in front of them opened, and the booth of them walked into the tower. It was a deep bright pink hall with lots of golden pictures hanging from the walls to the sides. The long carpet was red and golden, and afar from them were two three doors.

One golden door in the middle, another golden door to the right, and one to the left.

There were fancy lights hanging from the roof, and they gleamed down at the trio. Scourge Don stayed quiet, trying to push the old Don away from him because of the emotions. Starla went through the first door in the middle, and they were in a bathroom with large golden banners on the sides.

The tub was white, filled with clean blue water from the Gadian Sea. As Don was just about to get off of Starla, Starla instantly threw him into the water. (SPLASH!) it went, now Don was completely soaked in his messy hero suit.

Don shot out of the water, and landed onto the ground, spreading water drops everywhere. Don tried to walk away but Starla quickly snatched him with her tail, "And where do you think you're going?" "I DO NOT WISH TO BE CLEANED THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" Scourge Don yelled once again.

Scorch threw in a splashful of clean water at Don, and then Starla slammed him into the tub once again. She smiled as Don emerged from the bubbles, compeltely straight faced. His face was still covered in the mask though.

"Alright, we gotta talk. I know the real Don isn't like this! But why are you though?" Starla asked, her blue eyes shimmering. Scourge Don scoffed, "Like I would tell you..." Starla puffed, "Nevermind, I know exactly what's going on anyway. I'm gonna need a little help though..." "OSCAR!!!" she called. A short male walked into the room, wearing a black shirt with pink stripes all over it. He wore gray pants, and his eyes were yellow.

He had the emo cut, but he wasn't emo at all. He also had the pink wings of a flamingo.

Oscar (A 12 year old male that has the Love Element and has characteristics of a Flamingo. He acts weird around people, and I mean sometimes flirty, but way too flirty to joke with them. Very loyal to Princess Starla. Or maybe too loyal). "I got the mirror princess!"

he said as he took out two rectangular shaped mirrors. Starla took the mirrors and she smiled, "Thank you so very much."

She turned to face Don, then she showed the mirrors to him. "Now, just look closely at the mirror... What is on them?" she asked. Don blinked, and then he shot a glare at her, but answered anyway.

"Me." Starla smiled, "Right, you are in both of the mirrors! But what happens if I take this hammer, and tap it a little to create a little crack?" She did exactly that, and a crack formed on one of the mirrors.

"Do you see anything now?" Don shook his head, "I can still see myself, but not fully. There's a crack on the mirror which is why."

"Good," Starla said, her voice starting to get a bit more serious. "Now, that mirror is broken, meaning that somebody's gonna have to come fix it. So let's say a few builders come in to try and fix the mirror, but there's no other way to fix it, it's already broken. You can try, but it's still gonna be broken.

Since this mirror is broken, what do we do now?" "Replace it," Don answered once again. Starla continued to explain, "So you replace this mirror with a new mirror, and that mirror is alive and well. You can see your reflection on it, can you?" "What's the point of this?" Don said as he shot out of the bathtub, sending water flying everywhere. "You're just showing me mirrors! Why do I have to pay attention to this?!" Starla sighed, then she softly smiled at Don. "I saw everything. In the Grolian Forest. I heard everything Ella said to the crew about Incarceration's manipulation plan. The hammer was Incarceration, and the broken mirror is what you are now. Your friends try to come help you, but you're still broken. That's what the workers represent. But there's still the real Don inside of you, you can break free from Incarceration's Gem. His curse, his manipulation."

"I've been spying on Incarceration myself, I heard that he was going to use you to become the next Lunaranite King and use you as a weapon for war purposes, so then he can be the only one that rules Celestia.... Don, I know you're there... get out." Don stopped for a moment, and he slowly sunk into the water. The real Don was trying to push through, and then that was until Starla grabbed Don with her talons and crashed through the roof of the bathroom.

She placed Don on top of the steel pink roof, and the sun shone right in front of him. It was a bright orange while the sky was still orange and pink.

Cloud sheets were floating in the sky, while the orange sun took over the evening. Starla transformed into her human form, and Scorch stayed in the bathroom. They were on the edge of the building, sitting together. "You can choose Don, but choose wisely," she said softly while looking at the sun.

The celestial energy in Don's purple eyes started to flicker from dark to bright, and they repeated the action again and again. He looked down, and then he peered at Starla. He got up, and then he looked down from the height.

He saw all of the Blushinites moving around, singing and dancing, flirting and loving each other. "Starla, I've got to go. I need to think about this..."
