Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Krillin’s Explosive Momentum Shakes the World!

Boom!

A powerful burst of energy erupted like a shockwave, overwhelming everything in its path.

This wasn't a technique—no, it wasn't even a named move. It was simply an outburst of pure, unrestrained power. A skillless eruption—raw and terrifying. It was something the warriors of the Dragon Ball world did naturally, instinctively, when combat demanded it.

Krillin—more accurately, Jack—was all too familiar with this.

In the world he came from, this was normal. Exploding into full power at the start of a battle was expected. Otherwise, you'd be left behind or instantly obliterated.

But Jack had forgotten something important.

This wasn't the Dragon Ball world anymore.

He wasn't surrounded by Saiyans, androids, or gods of destruction. This was an entirely different universe—the world of pirates. A world with a completely different power system, different rules… and far fewer beings capable of enduring such overwhelming pressure.

So when Jack exploded with all his momentum, the effects were immediate—and devastating.

The entire Marineford plaza trembled. The island itself shook, and even the surrounding sea churned with unnatural tides. Seismic waves rippled out in every direction.

"This… what is this?!" one marine cried out, clutching his rifle in terror.

"The ground is shaking! Is this Mr. Jack's true power?!"

"What is that white aura surrounding him?!"

"What a terrifying presence! He's just standing there, and yet the air itself feels like it's about to collapse!"

"Look—cracks are spreading from beneath his feet!"

Indeed, a web of fractures snaked out beneath Jack as his feet dug into the stone plaza. The sheer weight of his aura alone was causing the ground to break apart.

In the Dragon Ball world, this wouldn't even be worth mentioning. Such a display was expected from mid-tier fighters. But here? In the Pirate World?

It was enough to cause panic and awe.

"Could this be… Conqueror's Haki? No—this isn't Haki. It's something else entirely!"

Even Whitebeard, the strongest man in the world, narrowed his eyes in astonishment. He had made the ground tremble before—but only by using the full might of his Gura Gura no Mi, the Quake-Quake Fruit.

But Jack?

He hadn't even raised his fist.

He merely stood still—calm, composed—and yet, the force he radiated was unbearable.

And that aura…

It was white, almost like smoke, yet crackling with an internal storm of energy. It wasn't Haki, nor any Devil Fruit power Whitebeard had seen. It had no precedent in their world.

"This can't be… a fruit ability, can it?" Whitebeard muttered.

No known Devil Fruit granted both flight, incredible speed, and this kind of supernatural pressure—not to mention the ability to radiate this strange, tangible energy.

Which could only mean one thing.

"This power… is his own."

Ace struggled to stand. His legs wobbled, and his arms trembled as he resisted the overwhelming pressure.

"Mr. Jack!" Ace shouted, shielding his eyes against the windstorm created by Jack's aura. "Please, stop! At this rate, no one will be able to stand up!"

Only then did Jack realize the extent of his mistake.

He looked around.

Marines lay sprawled on the ground, unconscious or paralyzed by the sheer pressure. Pirates, too, were gasping for breath, some even fainting. Even seasoned fighters like Ace were struggling.

This wasn't his world anymore.

In the Dragon Ball universe, exploding into full power was second nature to him. A necessity. He had always been on the weaker side of the power scale, so he was used to fighting with everything he had, right from the start.

But here… that habit could crush people who didn't deserve it.

"...Sorry," Jack muttered. With a slow exhale, he let the pressure fade.

The oppressive force lifted like a storm dispersing. The ground stopped shaking. The clouds that had begun swirling overhead slowly calmed.

Still, the damage had been done.

"Who… what kind of monster is this guy?" one marine mumbled, barely conscious.

"Where did he come from? Why is he helping the Whitebeard Pirates?" another asked, voice trembling.

In the Marine HQ's central command tower, Fleet Admiral Sengoku's usually composed expression cracked. He stared down at the battlefield with disbelief.

The so-called "General of Wisdom" was at a complete loss.

A man of unknown origin. Possessing an unknown ability. Radiating a strength that defied logic.

What was going on?

"Just who is this Jack?" Sengoku whispered.

He had seen Ace miraculously recover from the brink of death, a feat that defied all medical science. He'd watched Whitebeard—who was dying from age and illness—suddenly roar back to life, as if given a second youth.

And the cause of both miracles?

Jack.

Sengoku clenched his fists.

"If only he had chosen to help the Navy…" he muttered bitterly.

If this mysterious warrior had joined their side, they could have ended the Whitebeard Pirates right here, right now. With Jack's power, the battlefield would have been theirs in moments.

But instead, he had tipped the scales completely.

Thanks to him, Ace had escaped execution.

Thanks to him, Whitebeard now stood strong once again.

And now…

He was going after Akainu.

Sengoku turned to Garp, who stood silently nearby.

"Karp. Go assist Akainu. I'm worried the three of them won't be able to hold Jack back."

Garp's expression darkened.

Akainu.

The man who had just tried to kill Ace. If Sengoku hadn't held him back, Garp would have already attacked Akainu with everything he had.

Now he was being asked to help the same man?

"You expect me to protect him after what he just did to my grandson?" Garp asked, his voice low and dangerous.

Sengoku didn't answer.

Because deep down, even he didn't know what the right move was anymore.

This wasn't just a rescue mission that had gone wrong.

This was a total collapse of their plans.

Their careful strategy—public execution, crushing of the Whitebeard Pirates, deterrence to future rebellions—was unraveling at the seams.

And it was all because of one man.

Jack.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, the shock in the hearts of the marines and pirates alike had not faded.

People whispered.

"Who is he?"

"Why does he have those beans that can instantly heal?"

"Where did he come from?"

"What kind of power even is that white aura?!"

Even some of the top fighters on the scene—Admirals, Vice Admirals, veteran pirates—were bewildered. Nothing about Jack made sense.

He had shown up out of nowhere.

He possessed strange powers, unheard of in this world.

He had revived Whitebeard and Ace.

And he fought like someone who had seen a thousand battles and survived them all.

Whitebeard, still holding his bisento, looked toward Jack with a rare mix of gratitude and awe.

"Oi… Jack," he said with a grin. "You're quite the mysterious one. But I'm glad you're on our side."

Jack gave a faint smile.

"I'm just here to keep a promise."

Ace turned to him. "A promise?"

Jack didn't answer. Not yet.

His eyes were fixed forward.

Akainu was recovering. Sengoku was preparing to move. Garp was uncertain. And Kizaru and Aokiji were watching closely, ready to react.

This war wasn't over.

But the tides had shifted.

And now… Jack was about to make sure they never shifted back.
