My dream started normal with me flying around Luna cove taking in the wonder of my town to the far north is the golden arch that holds the only entrance and exit into the human world. It is surrounded by a magical lake with floating islands that the draconians and draconian hybrid like to live. The draconians are dragons that can shift into a form similar to the fae. The Rusalka and rusalka hybrids like to live in houses under the water. They can breathe underwater and above and love to use their water magic to entertain sidhe. They are also the only way many can exit through the arch as the entrance is at the bottom of the ocean.The golden arch sparkles and glimmers with the magical barrier that keeps anyone not invited from entering. My mother and teachers say it has never failed but towns people talk and they say that it went down once. In the center of the cove there is the shipping district with each shop in a spiral leading to the great Willow tree that has purple glowing flowers all over it, once a year the flowers let off sparkles that cover the cove. The industrial district is on the south side furthest from the gate where magic tools and devices that make our lives better are made, each building exactly the same size in neat rows.
The forest is to the east. There is every type of tree from the human world and from the sidhe world, the dryads and some of the dryad hybrids live there, each of them has a tree species bound to them magically at birth and many like to shrink down and build their house inside and around one of their bound tree species, it is interesting with so many different types of trees but it is wonderful to walk at night with the moon shining bright.
To the west is the houses that many live including the fae and fae hybrids each house as unique as each of the sidhe. In the dream I fly up through the top of the dormant volcano that we live in. Outside of the dream it's impossible to fly up as the barrier blocks all access and hides our cove from the humans who live on the surface of the island. The volcano called Mauna kea by the humans is amazing to see. I'm starting to wonder why my dream has me seeing this though, I shouldn't know what the valcano looks like as I have never left Luna cove before.
Suddenly the dream shifted to showing a lunar eclipse, I watch as the eclipse hits the barrier and the barrier goes dark. I don't understand we have had many lunar events and this never happened before what is so special about this one. I decided I need to wake myself up, I use the technique my mother has taught me imaging myself back in my room and allowing my energy to re-enter my body.
I woke suddenly and next thing I know I managed to hit my head against the wall next to my bed, fudging nuggets I yelled, my mom runs in laughing as she tries to ask me if I'm ok. Where in the world did you get that from she said though her laughing. Her blue hair is up in a bun today and her wings folded down in the back her eyes are gray but when she laughs like now they sometimes sparkle with blue. I find it interesting how each of the four species have different hair, eye and wing colors. Female fae have pink hair, eyes and wings wile the males have black hair, eyes, and wings. draconian females have gray eyes,hair and wings but their dragon scales color depends on their magic, the males have white eyes, hair and wings. The female dryad's have red hair, eyes and wings while the males have green hair, eyes and wings.
The Rusalka females have blues eyes,hair and wings while the males have yellow hair,eyes and wings.
Mom, mom, mom stop laughing, my mom finally settled down her cheeks red from laughing, Mom looked at me seriously then smiled and pulled out a envelope, happy birthday Lyra! I turned to my mom and smiled I love you!! I said as I took the envelope it looked like a plan evolope nothing special about it, as I opened it there was a card inside, I took it out and read it

I didn't even realize I was flapping my hands I am so excited, then of course the panic set in, I have never been to the sidhe realm what if I say or where the wrong thing, what if they hate me because I'm different I shouldn't go, but I would offend the queen if I didn't, but I could offend her if I say the wrong thing, what if I have a panic attack. Lyra it's ok it's ok my mom said. You are getting yourself overwhelmed, I already thought about it and had Flora send a dress and a list of things that you can talk about and things you shouldn't, I will practice with you. As soon as she said that I felt my body relax a little, my mom always knows how to help when I'm having a panic attack. Do you want a hug she asked as she knows sometimes I can't handle people touching but sometimes it helps. Yes please! She enbrased me and we stood like that until I started getting overwhelmed with touch as soon as I lowered my arms mom stepped back. We should get ready for shopping she said, go get ready I will meet you downstairs.
