Hobo Norl Fiton's gaze, filled with pride and reverence, turned toward the divine tree.
And what he saw left him speechless:
Tiny, countless orbs of light were emerging from every part of the tree
as if the tree had decided…
to end itself.
The divine sea of the sky...the ocean of glowing beings
also began to turn toward the tree.
And then
like a rain of falling stars
the entire flock of Doma descended.
Every Doma sprinkled droplets of water as they came down,
and soon, everywhere was bathed in light.
The way those water droplets fell
it was as if a peach blossom tree had suddenly shed all its flowers in a single breath.
---
The Doma passed above the entire crowd of Delltanoss,
showering them with dazzling divine brilliance,
and then gathered near the now-radiant divine tree,
which had become a reservoir of light itself.
For the very first time, the great Doma stood before them
and in that holy moment,
all the people of Delltanoss fell to their knees,
bowed their heads,
and sat in complete silence.
Even Hobo Nor Sibion sat down among them,
his heart still.
He understood
The end was near.
---
The Doma surrounded the tree.
They closed their eyes,
perhaps for the last time
as if they would never open them again.
Each Doma gleamed with sacred brilliance,
and the divine tree and the ocean of sky were filled with blinding light.
From the Doma's closed eyes,
streams of tears flowed gently, shining like stardust
And then,
in a single, quiet instant
BOOM.
