Kichu hardly looked into the light.
"what is that? A firefly?"
Firefly? In the morning? I'm sorry but are you stupid?
"Then what is that?" Suddenly the small light started to grow and became a portal. He looked at the portal carefully and realised there is something inside and it's moving. But what can he do? He can't even move.
Then unexpectedly a big thing which hardly fit in the exam hall came out of the portal. He was looking like a human and not at the same time. Since we don't know his name and he resembles human a lot we can call him the big man.
"Ahh.. What a pain in the ass! Come through here slaves get the work done by fast" the big man looked at the portal and said. At that time around ten weirdly looking things came out of the portal.
"According to the commander, we need to collect 100 males and 120 females in their teenage years, correct?" the big man asked.
"Yes, sire," one of them replied.
"Then check every human here and put them in the pod. I'll be right back."
With that, the big man disappeared.
The remaining figures pulled out some kind of device and began approaching each student in the classroom.
Kichu couldn't believe his eyes—or his ears.
"What the...actuall fu*k is happening here? Am I dreaming? Who are these weirdos. Let put that all aside what was the thing came from the hole first? How does he even fit in this Hall?"
Kichu had so many questions. Anyone in this situation would.
He curiously looked to his right and saw one of the weird figures pull a student into the device. His heart nearly stopped. His body froze.
"This… this isn't a dream."
His breath hitched as he watched them systematically pull students into their strange machine, one after another. Panic surged through him.
"What's… happening? He just… vanished… how?"
Then, one of them approached Kichu. He braced himself, expecting the worst. But instead of taking him, they simply used a machine on him—then walked away.
Kichu stood there, confused.
"What does this mean? Are they… not taking me?"
A wave of relief rushed over him, filling him with unexpected joy. But just as quickly, dread set in.
"Abhinav… Anu… Ajay… and the others—are they okay? F**k, I can't even look back."
At that moment, the big man reappeared out of nowhere.
"Is it all done yet?" he asked.
"Yes, sire, The memory erasure is also over.." they responded in unison.
"Good, I've collected the remaining samples. We can go now."
Without hesitation, they turned and began walking toward a glowing portal.
Kichu stood there, helpless, tears streaming down his face. He had no idea how many of his friends had been taken. His whole world had just been ripped apart in an instant.
Every part of him screamed to move, to do something—anything—to stop them.
But his feet wouldn't move.
"F**k! If only I could move… I swear I'd kill that fat bastard."
Suddenly, the big man stopped in his tracks and turned toward Kichu. He walked closer—too close—his eyes locking onto Kichu's with unsettling intensity.
"Is the time-freezing working correctly?" he asked.
Kichu could feel the sweat dripping down his face.
"Yes, sire. It's functioning correctly," one of them replied.
The big man narrowed his eyes.
"Hmm… is that so? Then why didn't you take this human? Did his health fail the requirements?"
"Yes, sire. He didn't pass the selection criteria."
The big man paused, scanning Kichu up and down.
"Hmm… but something feels off. Put him in the pod."
One of the subordinates hesitated.
"I don't think that's possible, sire. We've already collected all the samples—there are no pods left. The only one remaining is the emergency pod, and… it's not functioning properly."
For a moment, there was silence. Then—
"Okay, then do one thing—go home and tell your father you're a dirty pig!" The big man's voice exploded with fury.
"How dare a slave say NO to me?! PUT HIM IN THE POD NOW!"
Terrified, they obeyed immediately, shoving Kichu into the malfunctioning emergency pod before scrambling toward the portal.
The doors of the pod sealed shut.
"Where… am I?" Kichu muttered. Everything around him felt weightless, like he was trapped in an elevator floating in the dark.
"I can't see anything… what the f**k is this place?"
He fumbled around, searching for an exit—but there was none.
Then, without warning, the pod started shaking violently.
"Shit! What's happening?!"
He was tossed around like a rag doll, slamming into the walls. His head struck something hard, and before he could even process the pain—everything faded to black.
