Chapter 1 - C1-Vought International

Chapter 1: Vought International

Manhattan, New York.

The core of corporate America. Manhattan wasn't just the most crowded of New York's boroughs—it was also its richest, a shimmering hub of skyscrapers, billion-dollar boardrooms, and power struggles.

"Mr. Vought, here's the quarterly proposal. Please review it."

The woman who entered exuded poise and confidence—tall, blonde, with piercing blue eyes. Her tailored suit fit perfectly, heels softly clicking on the marble floor. She approached the young man at the desk and placed a thick stack of documents down.

In the corner, a white-haired butler in a crisp black uniform carefully polished a vase. He glanced up once, then continued his task.

"I've told you a hundred times, Alice—just call me Kyle," the teenager said with a sigh, turning away from the window. "You make me sound like some old CEO. And more paperwork?"

His tone was smooth but tinged with exhaustion. Kyle Vought's chiseled features bore a permanent grimace as he stared at the mountain of papers on his desk. His golden eyes flickered with frustration as he ran a hand through his messy black hair and flipped through a file.

This was his seventh proposal today. And he was only fifteen.

"Sorry, but there's nothing I can do about that. You recently took over the company, and your ideas have been... innovative. Even marketing is on board. And those prototypes you brought in—"

Alice launched into her update, animated and enthusiastic. Honestly, she hadn't taken this teenage boss seriously at first. But after seeing him solve several key problems that stumped her—and entire departments—the skepticism turned to awe. The kid was a genius.

Kyle discreetly glanced at the butler, silently asking for help.

"Miss Alice, Master Kyle has a dinner event this evening," the butler said politely, stepping forward to intervene. "Please continue this later."

Alice pouted but didn't argue as she was gently ushered out.

Finally, silence.

Kyle sank back into his chair, his mind already drifting to bigger concerns than marketing strategies or product launches. Because Kyle Vought wasn't originally from this world.

He was a transmigrant—someone who had died on his original Earth and awakened in the body of a newborn in a different universe. At first, he thought this was just an ordinary Earth, planning to profit from knowledge 20 years ahead.

Then, on his fourth birthday, everything changed.

During a visit to a World War II museum with his butler, he saw a statue—a man in a star-spangled suit, heroically holding a shield.

Captain America.

That's when he realized where he was: the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

And at that very moment, the cheat code every transmigrant dreams of was finally unlocked.

"System. Show interface," he commanded.

A shimmering blue screen with a digital flair appeared in front of him.

[Host: Kyle Vought]

Abilities: None

Assets: Vought International

Inventory: Formula – Type-7 Crystal Compound

Points: 95

Draw Chances: 0

Current Mission: Establish a new company. A themed reward will be granted.

Ultimate Mission: (???)

His secret? The Hero Creation System— a game-like interface allowing him to collect points and exchange them for items from a vast pool of superhero powers, tech, and mutations. Some could grant instant superpowers, others unlocked latent human potential, or provided high-level technology from anywhere in the Marvel multiverse. But the catch? Draw points were insanely hard to earn.

In 15 years, he'd only managed enough for one draw. Still, he was satisfied. His reward—the Type-7 Crystal—was exactly the high-risk, high-reward item he'd hoped for. Implanting it into a human body could trigger genetic enhancements, potentially increasing all physical attributes by 10 to 30 times, or even awaken dormant abilities in their DNA. The downside? The fatality rate was horrifyingly high.

But there was a bonus: Kyle, as the system's master, could override or suppress any powers granted through his items, meaning his creations would never turn on him. Smart. Ruthless. Safe. "System," he muttered,

"Any update on the ultimate mission?" He stared at the three glowing question marks at the bottom of the panel. The system hadn't given him a single clue.

[Please be patient, Host.]

The robotic voice responded coldly in his head. Kyle rolled his eyes. Fine. No use obsessing. Right now, survival comes first. Even in the early, low-threat stages of the MCU, things could escalate fast, especially given his current situation—a rich orphan, with dead parents and shady board members circling like vultures. His parents' marriage had been a classic corporate arrangement—zero affection, just contracts. His mother, from a powerful European family, was more interested in her personal affairs (he knew of at least three "companions"). His father? Let's just say he had a whole calendar of models. Still, they left him a powerful company. And with his butler, Mr. Valen, guiding him, Kyle had taken control. Unfortunately, he'd also inherited a stack of problems, including a bleeding budget and some stockholders eager to see him ousted. He flipped through the latest quarterly plan and grimaced.

"Boring as hell." Old-school marketing. Stale product design. All corporate, no soul. This might've worked a decade ago, but today's consumers want fresh, bold, and weird. And Kyle planned to give them exactly that. Originally, the company had been developing an over-the-counter digestive relief drug, but he scrapped the entire R&D department and reassigned them to developing the Type-7 Crystal. His next move: flip Vought's future upside down. And step one was to start changing the storyline. If he let the MCU run its course, he'd be just another casualty of Thanos' snap. So Kyle intended to alter the flow.

"Wanda and Pietro should still be on the streets by now…" He stood up suddenly, eyes sharp with purpose. He'd been thinking about Thanos, and it reminded him—there were assets out there. Game-changers.

"If I remember the timeline correctly, the Maximoff twins are still wandering around Sokovia." And they were exactly what he needed. There were only two ways to gain draw points: trade cash—one billion USD equals 1,000 points—one draw; or change the world— influence reality in meaningful ways, though it might take years to pay off. The fastest route to power? Spending. Too bad Vought's current valuation barely hit ten billion. Liquidating a billion wasn't possible. So he'd have to go with Plan B: cause a stir. A really big one.
