In Hecate's Realm
Hades' POV
I smiled as I looked at Hecate—her face twitching, her eyes glowing with ominous blue light at the mere mention of that name. I chuckled. Every time I called her that, it reminded her of the bet we made… and how she lost.
Her resemblance to Princess Jasmine isn't a coincidence. We both made a bet: if she could invent a magic potion or spell to break or suppress Zeus's lust down to near nonexistence for a year, I would owe her a favor—and vice versa.
She eventually did it. She created a magical potion that completely destroyed libido. She tested it on various creatures: dragons, minotaur's, goblins, ogres, and other famously lustful races—and it worked on all of them. Poor ogres and goblins couldn't even look at women without collapsing in defeat.
Confident, she decided to test it on Zeus. Zeus, fully aware of the terms of the bet, reluctantly agreed—especially with Hera being a massive supporter of it, and me staring him down with eyes that screamed suffering. He swallowed his pride… and the potion.
And it worked!...For a day and a half.
After that, his lust skyrocketed so hard that if it were a building, I swear it would've touched the moon.
Hecate's face was frozen in horror and disbelief. She double-checked the potion container to see if it had been tampered with. She reversed time to look for interference. She even took Zeus's blood to confirm the potion had been consumed. In the end, everything checked out. It was legitimate.
She fell into despair, realizing the horror of Zeus's lust. She even begged me to increase the dosage by ten times in exchange for another favor. I readily agreed and had Zeus drink a new version—one that would've rendered his "sword" completely nonexistent, like those poor warriors from Game of Thrones.
This time, it lasted three days. I laughed so hard the Underworld trembled.
And Hecate? She had a full mental breakdown.
"How is this possible?! I designed it to break you, not make you extra horny! This doesn't make any sense! I tested it on Poseidon and it worked! But you… you just rebel against all logic! IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! AHHHH!"
I laughed even harder watching her lose it. Her confidence in her magical prowess took a massive hit. But Zeus's reaction? That made me appreciate my younger brother for once.
"I'm just built different! My lust can't be chained by potions or magic! My lust could break the heavens! Don't use common sense against me!"
And just like that, Hecate stormed off, screaming about broken logic and flipped furniture. Hera lay on the floor sobbing, cursing her younger self for ever falling for Zeus, lamenting not choosing a more "marriage-material" god.
And me? I patted Zeus on the back—proud of him for once—and casually made my way to Hecate's domain to collect one of the two favors she owed me.
When I arrived, I made my request clear: I needed her to serve as the inspiration for a new Disney princess and wear various outfits for an upcoming movie I had investments in—thanks to a deal with the Fallen Angels.
Azazel, once he found out who the model was, adjusted the script and had her pose in every Jasmine outfit from Aladdin. I swear Azazel invented camera phones before humans did—because I definitely saw him using one. He probably kept those photos in a "special" collection.
Of course, to avoid total outrage, we gave her a cut of the Aladdin profits and toned down her features for the animated version. Even so, she was furious and didn't speak to me for a decade.
Funny Enough she happy at first when she thought it was just a private thing between us.Oh well—it's a fond memory, either way.
Hecate's POV
Seeing Hades—with that stupidly handsome face, those radiant eyes that shift from blue to violet, and that silky hair with an aura that takes my breath away whenever he's near—I can't help but think how lucky Persephone is.
That dumb, lucky girl got the attention of the strongest of the Greek gods—and one of the top ten beings in the world—and she didn't even try! She just existed and bam, he fell for her. I swear, I should've been more proactive. I could've made the first move!
But noooo, past Hecate was too shy to say anything, and Hades—big dumb idiot—never noticed my feelings. And of course, he had to be the one handsome Greek god with a decent concept of loyalty! An admirable trait... but when your options are Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo... yeah, a woman might reconsider monogamy.
Deep breath, girl. You discovered powerful new magic after forming contracts with higher deities. No time to pine over what could've been.
I turned to Hades and said,
"Well, isn't it the big bad of the Underworld. Kidnap any maidens lately? Made any husbands or boyfriends sell their souls? Tossed any maidens into Tartarus to test their heroism?"
He laughed and replied,
"Of course not. I stopped doing that when mortals and demigods said being the 'big bad villain' is too 'boomer.' What about you? Still dressing up in questionable outfits for court mages?"
I gave him a deadpan glare. Not winning this one. He knew I was still sore over that bet. Then he made himself the villain in the Disney film just to draw attention away from me—and got Aphrodite to be the inspiration for the female lead!
Sure, I shouldn't be mad anymore... but that nickname still stings.
Ugh, if only he'd kept the outfit viewing private—I might've been fine with it.
I turned back to the ritual. Everything had to be perfect.
"Eye and heart of the dragon, check. Blood of two virgins—one male, one female—check. Feather from an angel—check. Devil's spine—check. Divine blood of a sky god—check."
I checked the magical energy—full capacity.
As I reviewed everything, I noticed Hades approaching. I went a little dizzy from his cologne and presence. I quickly focused again and hid my desire by pretending to double-check the ritual again. Can't afford mistakes.
"Where did you even get all these ingredients?" he asked.
I grinned.
"The eye and heart? From the two Heavenly Dragons—I made a deal with Heaven. The male virgin blood? Easy—plenty of those these days. The female one was harder. Both had to be between 18 and 21, so I had to go to the Middle East—Western countries are too complicated and expensive. The feather? From Gabriel—she happily gave it when I said it was to help you. The spine? Some random pure-blood devil playing in our Greek backyard. And the divine blood... well, from Zeus. You know why."
Hades' POV
"I see. So, everything's ready?"
"Yep. Just need to say the magic words. Got everything you need?"
"Yeah. Packed and ready for vacation."
"Good. You deserve it. You're the hardest worker in the family. But before you go, there are some rules."
"Alright, lay 'em on me."
Hecate's POV
"First—world laws. Some worlds may restrict your power. If you feel weaker, it's not you—it's the world trying to contain your power out of fear. If you're stronger, it means the world has a higher ceiling of laws or isn't afraid of you. So, bring your best.
Second—don't mess with the world's core themes. Let it unfold naturally. Don't introduce concepts that don't fit.
Third—defending yourself is fine. Killing is fine. But don't destroy souls. Worlds like recycling.
Fourth—if you make a significant change, you may form a bond with the world or its people. It allows for occasional communication. But only occasionally.
And finally—don't get too attached. Once you leave, it's almost impossible to return unless the universe itself allows it."
"Any questions?"
Hades' POV
"A few. First—my weapons, will they be a problem?"
"No. Stygian iron will absorb some essence but not harmfully. Think 'vampire blade,' not soul reaper. It'll react mildly to that world's safeguards."
"Next—what do you mean by themes?"
She smirked.
"If you saw a Black guy in full samurai armor running around Edo-period Japan, wouldn't you question the vibe?"
I nodded.
"Fair."
"Last—how will I know if I formed a bond?"
"You'll just know. Like the bond between a man and his dog. It'll show itself."
"Alright, let's begin. How long will it take?"
Hecate's POV
"Give me a second."
I stepped up to the ritual circle and began the incantation.
[Incantation]
By flame of star and shadow deep, By threads of fate the Moirai keep, By key, by torch, by triple might, Open now the gates of night.
Through veil of time and space unbound, Let shifting paths by will be found. I call on winds that whisper true, To part the worlds and let me through.
Hecate, Keeper of the Door, Crossroads Queen whom all implore, Let this traveler walk unseen—Beyond what is, to what has been.
Hades' POV
I watched as a swirling portal of rainbow light stabilized into pitch black. A door formed from the void. Etched into it, both Hecate and I read aloud:
"Shinobi World."
I turned to her.
"So… ninjas, huh?"
She rolled her eyes.
"Oh no, clearly it's about saving princesses from dragons while aliens attack."
I smirked.
"You know you're cuter when you're not sarcastic."
She flushed red, shoved me toward the door, and said,
"Just open it."
I opened the door to a swirling rainbow abyss. Before I jumped, I turned back.
"Few last questions. Where did the ingredients go? How long can I stay? How do I get back? And what do you get out of this?"
She closed her eyes and responded.
"The ingredients went to my boss—payment for the spell. The deal was fair. You'll have a year and a half. The door will appear again wherever you consider 'home' there, and when it does, you'll have one month left. Pack your things—you'll only keep what's on you."
"As for me? I get to study the world's power system and take three items and two techniques based on what you find. So if there's an underworld—conquer it. Explore its memories of the dead. Bring me something new."
She handed me a compass labeled H-Compass.
"It glows black for things you find interesting. Blue for things I want. Charge it with your magic and it'll point you where to go."
I examined it—auto-repair, recall feature, very Hecate-like. I gave her a hug.
Hecate's POV
Gaia help me—Hades hugged me! If I could just freeze time… but Kronos still rules that domain. Damn him! And damn Hades' charm! I pushed him off before he could see me blush.
"Go. Enjoy your vacation. And bring back souvenirs—for me and Persephone!"
Hades
"See you later, Princess Jasmine."
Her head snapped around, eyes blazing.
"You know I hate that name! Stop calling me that!"
I laughed.
"She's popular online. Take pride. Rule 34 or something."
"THAT'S IT, YOU PRETTY BOY!"
She summoned a magical boot and kicked me into the portal. As I fell into the swirling abyss and the door faded behind me, I heard her mutter:
"Maybe I should ask Azazel what makes Princess Jasmine so popular. If I learn the rules… maybe I can change Hades' view of me—from a friend to something more."
--------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone!
Author here ,I'm just letting you know that there one more chapter with Hades before we get to MC, and after that it off to the races with my imagination and ideas of how things change in the world of Naruto. I'm hoping everyone is enjoying what I made so far. I'm open to construction criticisms and reviews that reflect true thoughts, so have it! Get the pies ready, get the stink bombs ready! I can take it! Although be prepare for me to shout back(Skyrim style) if it lacking actual criticism and just some people on the internet whose mother never love them, or Dad never played ball with them (Raises hand for the dad one). However I have some bad news and some good news for the readers who enjoy my story .
First the bad news. I'm not going to be updating my until July 18th, and the reason is simple...Money!(Yes the spirit Mr. Krabs whispers into mind) I started a patreon, and I need to start putting content on there, some exclusive, and others deciding the next book I'm going to write( 5 to 6 book ideas in my head), so if want to help me out and just want to see the story further ahead than patreon is where it at. Of course I don't plan gate keep this book or stop updating on web novel I'm getting a stash ready for those who want to pay to see it. For those sign up for patreon I suggest you wait until July 18th as well there should enough to fill the your hunger a bit. Of course I understand if you can't support times are tough, but hope you leave review or power stone either way to show support
And now for the good news! I'm schedule for uploading a single day except Sundays(brain needs to recharge), and maybe Mondays(God I hate Mondays), but that unlikely to happen unless I get sick or dragon slayer comes around. And depending on how many power stones I get in the future bonus chapters will happen, for example 50-100 is one chapter, and another 50 will be another. It may become higher if the story becomes too popular and try to overwork me( blessing or curse?)
Anyway that all for now. Enjoy your day, night, or whatever it is. This dragon needs some sleep and to dream some more.
