Chapter 3: First Contact
Aria was in a café, typing quickly on a small laptop. Glasses on her nose, hair in a bun. She looked too smart, too serious for her age.
Ghost sat two tables away. Watching.
Then they came.
Three men in dark coats entered. Not customers. Killers. Ghost moved fast.
The first man turned to pull a gun — Ghost was already on him. One punch. Elbow. Silence.
Second attacker grabbed Aria. She screamed. Ghost threw a knife, fast and perfect.
Third one ran. Ghost let him go. He needed them to know she wasn't alone anymore.
He walked to Aria.
She stared. "Who are you?"
He didn't answer.
Chapter 4: The Chase
They fled through the alley. Ghost guided her without words. Car waiting. Engine on. Tires screeched as they escaped into the night.
Aria looked at him. "You're mute?"
Nothing.
"Are you my bodyguard or my kidnapper?"
He didn't blink.
He passed her a note: Trust me. Stay quiet.
The car swerved. Behind them, motorcycles approached. Armed men.
Gunfight.
Ghost drove with one hand, fired with the other. Every bullet found its target. No panic. Just precision.
