Wil came out of restroom and saw two missed calls from his second fiancee. He called back her.
Luoyang picked up after a few rings, her voice as calm and cool as ever.
"I was about to call you too. You haven't eaten, right? Can you come over to my house? I want to celebrate for winning the tournament."
Wil blinked in surprise. "Will she ask about Time Traveler or something? Hmm… I need to make up some believable stuff."
An hour later, Wil arrived at her place again, the familiar, modest apartment where it all started. As she opened the door, he stepped in, glancing around.
"You still haven't hired a helper?" he asked as he took his seat at the small dining table.
Luoyang rolled her eyes slightly. "If I'm moving out in a few days, why bother? I managed for months. A few more days won't kill me."
"That's exactly what I'm worried about," Wil said, unamused. "I'll send a helper tomorrow."
