[20 Minutes Earlier – Luoyang's Kitchen]
The steam from the boiling pot fogged up the nearby window. Luoyang stood over the kitchen counter, her apron neatly tied, sleeves rolled up. On the cutting board lay neatly folded dumplings, sealed with delicate care.
She reached into the drawer beside her spice rack and pulled out a tiny vial.
A clear, slightly viscous liquid sloshed inside. The label had long faded, but she didn't need it.
She unscrewed the cap.
"A day you'll never forget, Williard…" she murmured under her breath, tilting the vial.
A few drops soaked into the dumpling mixture, just enough to make a grown man regret his existence, but not enough to hospitalize him. She smirked, adding the laxative.
Her fingers twisted the dough shut like a trap snapping closed.
"Who told you to go and give me the finals win like that? I'm Xu Luoyang and I never forget my dues even if it takes years," she muttered to herself. "Big Hero Williard. Let's see how you handle this victory."
