Over the next few days, Rune took Queen Lilieths advice on how to spend his time. He ate lots of meat, slept well, and had lots of sex--sometimes with Raya, and other times with Stella. The rest of his time was spent training, and while he wasn't able to break into the next level of Body Activation, he felt like he was in as good of a condition as he could be for the coming battle.
The atmosphere of the Xala was much the same. There was an upsurge in activity as everyone began preparing for the subjigation and the coming war. The streets were filled with sounds of battle cries during the day as every warrior in the kingdom strived to improve themselves. Even if they weren't taking part in the subjigation, they honed their skills for event that they were called to action.
