"We're disguising to be tourists so remember to not use your powers here ok Felix?" said Kelan, moving his black hair to the side to cover his right eye that glows green when he uses his powers.
"Yes I know," I replied, ruffling my hair to cover my eyes with one hand while I held the white bunny rabbit in the other.
"Hurry," Kelan walked towards our carriage, "help me turn this on its side. We'll pretend we crashed our carriage and ask someone we see for shelter."
"Alright."
I placed the bunny down and walked towards the carriage where Kelan was. I thought that it would be quite hard to flip the carriage on its side but surprisingly, Kelan was very strong- so strong that I barely felt any weight in my hands.
After flipping the carriage onto its side and destroying some parts to make it look like we really did crash, we began to walk around in Floran. The area was very green and included lots of plants from lushes bushes, tall trees, healthy grass, beautiful flowers and plants baring fruits. It seems like a very peaceful nation.
"Hey," a girl said, "who are you two?" Kelan and I turned to look at her. She had light brown hair that was tied in two buns on her head and green eyes.
"You're not from here are you?" the girl next to asked with dark eyes. She has black hair, greyish eyes and seemed very cold.
"Yes we're not from here," answered Kelan. "You see my friend and I were travelling around and our carriage crashed over there," he pointed in the direction where the carriage was.
"We were hoping to get help from someone here," I continued. "Excuse me but, where is this?" I pretended to be unaware of where we were.
"You're in Floran," replied the colder looking girl. "You two should leave now. I don't believe that you don't have any other intentions than fixing your carriage, and I'm sure that you already know where you are but you're just pretending to not know."
"We really don't have any other intentions," I placed my hands in the air defensively, "we really did crashed our carriage. You can check over there yourself!"
"No. Figure things out yoursel-" the colder looking girl was about to walk away when he friend grabbed her arm.
"It doesn't hurt to help them Lianne. We'll just give them a place to stay today and get their carriage fixed so they can leave tomorrow," said the girl with two buns on her head.
"If our Goddess finds out we let strangers in without telling her first then we'll be in trouble," reasoned the colder looking girl.
"It's not like we're letting them stay here for long. I'm sure the Goddess won't even notice that they're here," replied the girl with two buns on her head.
"Fine," the colder looking girl sighed.
"We'll help you," the girl with two buns on her head smiled. "I'm Ally, this is Lianne," she introduced the two of them.
"I'm Kayden and he's Fin," said Kelan. Fin? Couldn't he think of a better name than Fin? It doesn't fit me at all! "Do you have something to say Fin?" asked Kelan, catching my stare even though my eyes were covered by hair. It seems like his senses are pretty sharp.
"No," I smiled.
"Follow us!" said Ally, we obliged. "You're lucky that we've been camping here for a few days and found you two. If you ran into anyone else they might not help you."
"Because they know common sense," commented Lianne, "there's no reason to help suspicious strangers." Now I think about it, she has the same name as the one that Wren loved back in her home world however, her personality didn't seem the same as her. This Lianne was quite pretty though, just like how she said her Lianne was beautiful.
"Relax. We're out on a trip together and you're always so tense," said Ally. "Here we are!" I looked around and saw two tents and a fire place with logs next to it.
"It looks nice," I smiled. In fully honesty, it looks very plain and simple compared to the camps that were set up when I travelled to different nations in Eason's body.
"The two of us will sleep in one tent, and you two can sleep in the other one. There's food you can eat over there," Ally pointed at where the campfire and logs were, "Lianne and I will fix your carriage and bring it back here."
"You know how to fix carriages?" I questioned.
"I do! My father taught me," Ally puffed out her chest proudly and smiled, placing her hands on her hips.
"It's quite impressive how you know how to fix carriages. Fin and I have been moving around in a carriage for a while now, but we still have no idea how to fix a carriage. Every time ours is broken, we have to buy a new one however, I don't think we'll be able to get one here, so we are very grateful for your help," said Kelan.
"What a waste of money," scoffed Lianne. "Instead of buying a whole new carriage, you could've just found someone to fix the broken parts."
"Yes, but our carriage is usually damaged quite badly. We like to travel to different nations and places, but some nations are pretty brutal like Thanar," lied Kelan. "You said we're in Floran right? Fin over here actually wanted to go to Floran a lot however, we didn't dare because we heard that the people here doesn't really welcome outsiders. I guess fate favours Fin a lot since we ended up crashing here."
"Yes, I guess that is very lucky!" exclaimed Ally, "fate must really love you Fin!" Fate huh? If only they knew how much fate hated me. If only they knew the future that I saw in the body of the one who fate had really favoured.
Kelan and I sat at the campfire talking as Ally and Lianne went to fix he carriage. Even though both Kelan and I said nothing, we both seemed to agree to not talk about anything that would reveal our goal just in case someone else was watching.
When Ally and Lianne came back with our carriage, we began cooking food that we had hunted right before. It soon turned dark and our only source of light was the campfire.
"Hey, did you really go to Thanar before?" asked Ally, sitting on a log opposite to us in front of the campfire. Lianne was also siting opposite to us, right next to Ally. "I heard that Thanar is very violent. My dad said that Thanar might be even more dangerous for people to visit than Floran."
"Despite the rumours about Thanar, I think it's very peaceful," I replied, remembering the memories of Thanar that I saw and experienced in Eason's body.
"No way, how can a nation of war be peaceful?" Ally was surprised.
"People have different images of 'peaceful'," Lianne spoke, "maybe their definition of peaceful is different from ours. They must be psychopaths to see Thanar as peaceful though."
"Peace doesn't necessarily mean it's calm and there's no fights, peace also means being able to get along with others well too," I said.
"Getting along well?" Lianne raised her eyebrow, "are we really talking about the same nation here? I heard that the people of Thanar likes to fight with each other a lot. How is that getting along with each other?"
"Because they can all agree on one thing. Fighting for them is something they all enjoy and they decide things through fights," I replied.
"If you want to decide on something, why don't you just ask your God? The people in Thanar are really hurting each other for stupid reasons," said Lianne.
"As an outsider, I think we should respect another nation's way of doing things," I spoke. I was slightly angered. If I had to be honest, I would say she has the personality of a bitch. Not only that, but she also seems like she had no sense of freewill either. Everything she says is just about her Goddess.
"I think that's enough for now," Kelan placed his hand on my shoulder as if to remind me not to lose control of my emotions and accidentally use my powers. "Thank you for the help today. I think we should sleep early so we can leave first thing in the morning and not bother you any longer," Kelan got up and so did I.
Kelan and I walked towards the tent when I heard the sound of something stepping on grass coming towards me. Thinking it was just the white bunny, I didn't think anything of it.
"Watch out!" an unfamiliar female voice shouted. I turned around rapidly and saw a male with white hair and pinkish red eyes swinging his dagger at me with a large smile. Panicking, I activated my white flames and blocked his sword.
"Not a bad reaction," the male said.
"You're the bunny aren't you? You look just like it," Kelan pointed out.
"Bingo," smiled the male.
"You..." my eyes widened in realisation, "did you kill those three?"
"Correct!" the male answered. "You said that you wanted to find out who killed them, well now you know."
"So your goal was to kill Felix?" questioned Kelan. "You only revealed yourself when you tried to cut him just now."
"Yep! Hero Felix told me to make sure 'Felix Infermel' is killed. However instead of focussing on me, shouldn't you guys be more aware of where you are?" smiled the male. "Ah, it's about time that I go now," he then turned into a bird and flew away.
"Red hair and white flames, you must be Cyrus's heir," a woman with white hair, pointy ears and closed eyes said, wearing a green dress. She was floating in the air where the moon was. I was confused by how she was doing it, when I saw something slightly sparkly in the air. "What is Cyrus's heir doing here?" she question.
"The Goddess of Light 'Nova' right?" I smiled at her, "I want to make a deal."
