CASSIE'S POV
I was suddenly happy after Sage and Madeline left the room.
I'm saved!
It didn't take long before the door flew open again. I thought they had come back but was disappointed to see it was just little miss grumpy pants.
"Why do you look so disappointed? Were you expecting someone else?" She asked me and I rolled my eyes at her.
"Yep. Anyone else that isn't you." I said to her and sat back down on the bed.
"Aww how sweet of you." She said unfazed and closed back the door after inspecting the room.
That was close. I Hope She didn't see Sage and Madeline on their way out.
I kept thinking of how and when I'd be leaving this place.
Can't believe they all came to rescue me.
Wait did the school send them?
It can't be. They school can't send them when there are more qualified guards there.
So they must have come on their own.
Jake, he's also here.
I smiled to myself thinking about how sweet it was being rescued by him.

SAGE'S POV 🌊🌊🌊~
"So?? Did you see her?" Jake asked immediately we got back to the pit.
"We did. She's okay. Though she said something about her powers being gone." I replied to him.
"What?" Jake asked with so much worry.
"Temporarily. Gone temporarily." I cleared.
"Oh thank Goodness. I was scared for a second there." Damon chirped in.
"Good thing is, we now know where exactly she is, and how to get there. But... How are we supposed to get her out and escape from this whole place without being spotted?." Madeline asked.
"Yeah. Now we just have to think hard on how to do that." Jake said.
"How hard can it be? You both sneaked in and saw her, snocked back out and is standing right here. Why don't we just sneak back in there, get her out and cover her with a hoodie, then sneak out of the gate. Simple. Mission accomplished." Damon narrated.
"If only it'll be that easy." Madeline muttered.
"Unless anyone else has a better suggestion. Because I can't think of anything." Damon said.
"I guess with perfect timing on when we act, it won't be bad to try. I mean you both actually got in and saw her, which means we can do it again." Jake supported.
"Okay then. We try again. But when?" I asked them.
"Tonight." Jake stated and we all nodded in agreement.
"Four of us are going to go back to the place you saw her, we'll wait out anyone who's guarding the door, I'm sure they're likely to take a quick break. And that'll be our cue. Sage and I will go into her room and get her out. Damon and Madeline, you both will stay on the lookout outside, just in case and alert us if someone's coming." Jake directed.
"Okay got it." Damon said.
"We have to wait a little while, once everyone start retreating to sleep, we'll go in." Jake added.
We all nodded and sat down at one of the benches in the pit. Waiting.

After what seemed like forever, the whole pit was looking scanty, many people had gone home already and the rest here seemed drunk. This was the perfect time to make our move.
"Okay. Let's do this guys." Jake said and we all nodded.
We stood up and made our way to the route Madeline and I followed.
We got to the old looking building and made our way inside.
After a while of walking, we reached the corner where Cassie's room was.
But unfortunately, some girl was standing right outside her door.
"Wait I forgot to tell you guys, we were told the guards assigned to guard Cassie are pretty powerful. And we should avoid them at all costs." Madeline said to everyone.
I rolled my eyes.
"Oh please. How powerful could they possibly be." I commented.
"Now that's why you're my sister. We're not afraid of anyone." Damon supported me.
"All I'm saying is to be careful. That's all." Madeline said.
"Quiet guys. We don't want attention to ourselves now, do we?" Jake questioned.
We hid and kept waiting for the girl to get tired and take a break, even for a minute.
But she stood firm. Unmoving.
"What is her problem? Can't she just take this damn breakkk" Madeline groaned.
"Shush." I shushed her and she rolled her eyes at me
Then suddenly we saw her flexing her arms and legs.
Good. She's tired.
She suddenly moved away from the door and went out through the other entrance.
"Now! Sage." Jake exclaimed and we both strided forward, almost running.
We got to Cassie's room and opened the door, and there she was laying on the bed. Almost asleep but seemed fully awake after we barged in.
"Cassie!" Jake was elated to see her.
"Jake? You're here!" Cassie ran up to him and hugged him tightly.
"Yeah of course I'm here." He said to her still hugging her.
"Okay sorry to burst your bubbles but we gotta go. Like now." I said to them and Jake seemed to have waken up.
"Shit. It's true. Come on Cassie we have to run!" Jake said to her and she nodded.
Unfortunately for us once we opened the door, we saw a guy coming, then had to quickly close the door shut really slowly.
Oh no.
"What do we do now?" I whispered to Jake.
"Hide." He mouthed.
I nodded. Cassie showed us a hidden corner we could hide without being spotted easily.
Shortly after hiding, we heard the door fly open.
"Seriously? Can't any of you knock?" Cassie said to the boy that came in.
"Why, do you have something to hide?" The boy replied with a question.
"Yes. The only thing I want to hide from is you lot." Cassie said to him.
"A little birdie told me you had visitors. Who were they?" He asked her.
My eyes widened in shock.
How the hell did he know about that?
I'm pretty sure no one saw us. Unless of course, that freak that helped us find Cassie blabbed to someone.
"What nonsense are you talking about? The only visitors that won't stop bothering me are you and your little friends." Cassie replied him.
"I just want to warn you Fifth Element, don't even think of trying anything stupid here. You know how much I wish to hurt you, burn your little fifth element brain off. So you better be careful, or I might not play nice anymore." The guy said to her.
I looked over to Jake and saw him fuming.
Oh no again.
"Jake don't....." I was cut short when Jake suddenly came out of hiding.
"Who the hell do you think you are to talk to her that way?" Jake questioned angrily.
This is not good.
