As my wagon got nearer and nearer the borders of the military camp, I already noticed that scouts in the camp are stationed on the wall near the main gates. I continued my wagon's leisurely pace since they could already see me coming at this distance anyways. There was no need to be in a hurry then ending up looking like I am about to attack theor camp.
Inside the military camp, a scout standing in one of the posts near the gate has seen an old wagon approaching the camp. He immediately signaled one of his colleagues to tell the general about the approaching vehicle so that his superior can personally decide how the camp should react towards the incoming vehicle.
