"What did you say? First Elder?" Leon's eyes widened in shock.
He took a closer look at the woman's strikingly beautiful face—then it hit him. He remembered the painting that hung on the wall of the First Elder's home.
"It really is her..." he muttered, jaw dropping.
No wonder she had seemed familiar. She was the first elder.
But confusion quickly filled his mind—hadn't the First Elder always had a wrinkled, elderly face? Why did she look young again?
Before Leon could process what was happening, the Evil God's shattered body began to reform.
This time, however, the process was noticeably slower.
"Tsk." The First Elder clicked her tongue in annoyance. "Persistent pest. Looks like I'll have to finish this properly."
She drew her bowstring, and a brilliant green arrow began to form, pulsing with energy.
*Whoosh!*
She released it, and the arrow shot through the air, striking the Evil God's reforming body.
