Watching the overwhelming torrent of energy rushing toward him, Babidi's heart turned ice-cold.
There was no way to block it—he couldn't defend against such an attack at all!
Just as Babidi fell into despair, believing he was about to be obliterated, a figure suddenly appeared in front of him.
Tattered and covered in blood—
It was Dabura!
"Dabura, you're still alive!"
Babidi shouted in shock and delight.
"Lord... Babidi, hurry and escape."
Struggling to resist the devastating energy surge, Dabura spoke with difficulty.
Babidi was deeply moved. At the most critical moment, Dabura remained his most loyal servant, protecting him at the cost of his own life. His mind control magic truly was powerful.

Despite his humiliation and unwillingness, Babidi knew that if he stayed, he and Dabura would both die.
Glaring at Vegea with venomous hatred, Babidi cast his teleportation magic.
"Babara Ba!"
With the incantation spoken, Babidi's figure vanished instantly.
"Good… as long as Lord Babidi survives…"
Seeing Babidi safely escape, the exhausted Dabura stopped resisting, allowing the energy torrent to engulf him completely, tearing his body apart piece by piece.
Once a cruel and selfish Demon King, Dabura had become Babidi's most loyal dog and slave under his control, finding satisfaction merely in ensuring his master's survival.
How pathetic.
"L-Lord Babidi! Lord Dabura!"
"Monsters… those women are all monsters!"
"Run for your lives!!!"
Witnessing Babidi's disgraceful retreat and Dabura's utter destruction, the remaining soldiers were driven mad with fear, frantically piloting their ships to flee.
"Princess."
Celipa and Sharuru flew to Vegea's side, but her expression was dark and furious.
Babidi had managed to escape!
"Princess, what should we do about the ones trying to run?"
Sensing Vegea's bad mood, Celipa cautiously asked.
"Kill them all."
Vegea's voice was ice-cold.
"Yes!"

Earth, Orange Star City, Top Floor of Dragon Ball Tower—
"Oh, so the enemy that even Launch had to request backup against turned out to be the Mage Babidi."
Listening to Bulma's report through the projection, Yuujin's eyes flickered with intrigue.
Babidi had appeared.
"Yuujin, do you know this guy?"
"Yeah, I heard about him while training in space with Gokumi. A wicked sorcerer who wields dangerous magic."
"Hmm, according to Launch's report, even Vegea was nearly controlled by his magic."
"A guy like that running around the universe is a serious threat."
Yuujin explained a bit to Bulma, and she nodded in agreement.
"Bulma, tell Launch to halt the campaign and return with the expeditionary force once they're secured."
"Also, have the surveillance room scan the entire planet. If there are any suspicious alien life forms, report to me immediately."
After a brief pause, Yuujin added.
"Having Launch return is fine, but why scan the entire Earth?"
Bulma was puzzled.
"Just a precaution. Do as I say."
Shaking his head, Yuujin didn't elaborate further.
"Alright, I'll notify the surveillance team."

"You guys have been playing down there for days. When are you coming back?"
"What? You already miss me after just a few days? If you really want to see me, come find me yourself. I'll make sure to 'comfort' you properly."
"As if! Forget it, bye!"
Bulma huffed and abruptly ended the call, making Yuujin chuckle.
No matter how many years passed, Bulma was still the same as always—pretending not to care when she obviously did.
But as Yuujin recalled Babidi, his smile faded.
Babidi himself wasn't the real threat. The one Yuujin truly feared was the monster his father, Bibidi, had created—Majin Buu.
According to Launch's intel, Babidi had used his magic to control Demon King Dabura, the beast Yakon, the brute Pui Pui, and other subordinates, attempting to conquer the universe. This led to their clash with Launch's expeditionary force. With Vegea's arrival, Babidi's forces were completely wiped out—except for Babidi himself, who managed to escape.
So far, Majin Buu had not appeared.
But just because he hadn't surfaced yet didn't mean he wouldn't in the future. That was why Yuujin ordered the planetary scan—to see if there were any traces of Majin Buu.
In the original Dragon Ball, Majin Buu had been sealed away on Earth by Bibidi. If things followed the original timeline, he might still be here, dormant in his cocoon.
However, Yuujin knew that this was a real universe, not the Dragon Ball story. Earth had been under constant surveillance by the Lookout's monitoring systems for years. If Majin Buu had been sealed here, they should have detected him by now.
In fact, whether Majin Buu even existed in this universe was still uncertain!
"Ugh… cough, cough…"
A soft coughing sound broke Yuujin's thoughts.
Lowering his gaze, he looked at the kneeling Snake Princess.
A wicked smile curled on his lips.
He had been overthinking.
Even if Majin Buu did appear—so what?
With their current power, they had no reason to fear that creature. If Majin Buu dared to become their enemy, he wouldn't be leaving alive!
With that thought, all of Yuujin's previous worries vanished.
Standing up, he ordered Fist into an embarrassing position before claiming her dominantly…
