Chapter 325 -  Majin Buu

In a distant star system, an eerie castle stood ominously on a remote planet.

This was the sinister lair of the evil sorcerer Babidi.

At that moment, the defeated and humiliated Babidi was throwing a raging tantrum inside the castle—

"Damn it! Damn it!!!"

"Those wretched women, I'll never forgive them!"

"My Yakon, Pui Pui, Dabura… Ahhh!!!"

Overcome with endless humiliation and resentment, Babidi howled toward the sky in madness.

He had spent countless years and effort gathering powerful subordinates and building his army, thinking he was finally on the verge of conquering the universe and realizing his ambitions. Yet, everything he worked for had been utterly destroyed by those accursed women! He had barely escaped with his own life.

He hated them. He hated them so much!!!

With nothing left to smash, Babidi furiously kicked a bookshelf as if it were Vegea and those damned women themselves—

"Die! Die!! Die!!!"

"Argh!!!"

The bookshelf wobbled violently, and all the items on it crashed down. Babidi shrieked as he was buried under the falling objects.

"Ow, ow, ow…"

His tiny limbs twitched for a while before he finally managed to dig himself out from the mess.

It seemed like fate had turned against him. He had just suffered his worst defeat ever, and now even in his own castle, he was being bullied by inanimate objects!

"Waaahhh…"

Overcome with grief, Babidi burst into a heart-wrenching wail.

Well, since no one else was in the castle, crying to vent his frustration wouldn't hurt, right?

After sobbing for a long time, Babidi finally felt a bit better. Sniffling, he picked up a book from the floor.

"Huh? What's this?"

The items on the bookshelf were all research materials left behind by his deceased father—primarily notes on magic. Babidi had read most of them before, yet he had never noticed this particular book.

Curious, he opened it. Inside, there was an illustration of a giant pink egg and a strange pink creature beside it.

Tch, what kind of species was this? It actually looked kind of cute.

Below the image, there was a caption. As Babidi read on, his curiosity only grew—

"This is a bio-weapon created by my father, a Majin—"

"Buu?"

Earth, Morning, Orange Star City – An Abandoned Factory

"Hah! Hah hah hah!!!"

Under the rising sun, Videl was drenched in sweat as she practiced her martial arts, letting out fierce battle cries.

With no money for an expensive dojo, this abandoned factory had become her training ground. Every morning, rain or shine, she would come here to push herself.

At some point, as if sensing something, Videl stopped her movements and wiped the sweat from her forehead, looking toward the sky. She saw a figure rapidly approaching before landing in front of her.

"Ohaiyo, Sirus."

Her eyes lit up as she greeted Yuujin.

"Ha… Ohaiyo, Videl."

Yawning constantly, Yuujin replied sluggishly.

"Sirus, are you okay? Didn't sleep well last night?"

"Well… yeah, a little. But it's fine, I'll catch up on sleep at school later."

Seeing Yuujin looking a bit tired, Videl showed concern, while Yuujin felt slightly embarrassed.

He had spent another late night with Snake Princess, indulging in her company. No wonder he was exhausted.

Videl, however, was speechless. This guy was actually planning to sleep at school? That was so typical of Sirus.

"You've already started training?"

Noticing her sweat, Yuujin asked.

"Yeah, you weren't here yet, so I started on my own."

Videl brushed her hair aside as she answered.

But with his keen eyes, Yuujin could tell she had already exhausted herself. Clearly, she had been training for much longer than she claimed. She was just saying that to avoid making him feel bad.

Yuujin felt a little guilty. He had promised to guide Videl in training, yet he had been sleeping in. If he hadn't asked Suno and the others to wake him up, he'd probably still be in bed.

Thinking for a moment, Yuujin took out a Senzu Bean and handed it to Videl—

"Before we start training, I need to test your strength. But in your current state, you won't last. Eat this Senzu Bean to recover first."

"A S-Senzu Bean?! The kind that restores all energy and heals injuries?!"

Seeing the bean in Yuujin's hand, Videl was utterly stunned.

"…Yeah, it's a Senzu Bean. What's wrong?"

Yuujin rubbed his nose, puzzled by her reaction.

"Senzu Beans are sacred items only possessed by people related to the temple! How do you have one?!"

"Having a Senzu Bean doesn't necessarily mean I'm from the temple."

"Well… some martial artists and wealthy people do buy them from the temple, but they cost millions, even billions per bean!"

"Sirus, just who are you?!"

Videl's voice was filled with disbelief as she stared at Yuujin intensely.

For those serving under the Kami, Senzu Beans might not be a big deal, but for everyone else, they were a rare and miraculous treasure—especially among martial artists.

Yet Sirus had casually handed her one. This made Videl both shocked and suspicious about his true identity.

Could he be affiliated with the temple? Or maybe from some wealthy noble family?

Either way, anyone who could casually give away a Senzu Bean was definitely not ordinary!

"I'm just me—your classmate and friend, Sirus."

"Alright, Videl, stop overthinking and just eat it already."

Not wanting to reveal his identity just yet, Yuujin smiled before directly placing the Senzu Bean into Videl's mouth.

"Mmmph—"

Without thinking, Videl instinctively swallowed it. When she realized what had happened, it was already too late, and she immediately felt regret.

A bean worth millions, even billions… she had just eaten it like that?!

Oh god, what a waste!

But before she could lament further, a warm sensation spread throughout her body. Her drained energy was fully restored, and even the hidden injuries she had accumulated from fighting criminals vanished completely. Her entire body felt lighter and more refreshed than ever before.

"This… This is the power of a Senzu Bean…"

Amazed, Videl muttered in disbelief.

Senzu Beans were truly as miraculous as the legends claimed!
