"My mission is complete."
As he watched Isshiki Ōtsutsuki reincarnate into Jigen's body, Koji Kashin spoke calmly.
From this point on, it was up to Amado Sanzu's arrangements. The Isshiki now standing before him was no longer someone he could handle.
Isshiki gave a cold snort as he saw Koji Kashin struggling to stand.
"Still trying to resist? These black rods disrupt chakra flow. You've already lost."
As he spoke, a glass of red wine appeared in his hand. He swirled it gently and took a refined sip.
But in that very moment, the black rods embedded in Koji Kashin's body suddenly cracked and shattered.
He slammed his palms onto the ground.
"Reverse Summoning Jutsu!"
Boom!
His body vanished in a puff of white smoke.
Isshiki snorted lightly. "Scientific ninja tools... Looks like I miscalculated."
The fact that he hadn't killed Koji Kashin didn't bother him. After all, it was just a clone—not worth caring about.
Only Kawaki mattered. The rest were insignificant.
Isshiki's gaze drifted to Kotetsu Hagane and Izumo Kamizuki. He spoke with detached elegance,
"Hand over Kawaki, and I'll leave peacefully."
At his words, Kotetsu and Izumo tensed and stepped forward to shield Kawaki, gripping their weapons tightly.
They had no idea what exactly was going on, but with these mysterious, powerful individuals showing up—and one of them seemingly connected to Jiraiya in some strange way—this wasn't something they could ignore. They had to get to the bottom of it.
"Reinforcements will be here any moment. I suggest you cooperate and come with us for questioning," Kotetsu said sternly.
Isshiki's expression didn't change.
"Not willing to hand him over? Then you'll die."
To him, a noble of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, speaking with these two insects was already a generous grace.
If they wouldn't accept it, they'd be eliminated.
Kotetsu and Izumo snorted simultaneously.
"Behind us stands the entirety of Konoha! As long as we defend the village gates, we will not fall!"
"How laughable."
Isshiki's eyes glinted gold. Daikokuten and Sukunahikona activated instantly.
Black rods materialized out of thin air and pierced clean through both Kotetsu and Izumo.
"Damn it... he's too strong…"
They collapsed to the ground, losing all ability to resist.
Isshiki stepped toward Kawaki.
Kawaki's arm morphed into a thick mass of molten lava and swung at Isshiki with full force.
"You think you can resist me?"
With a single hand, Isshiki caught the blow effortlessly and kicked Kawaki away, sending him flying a hundred meters.
Kawaki hit the ground hard, coughing up a mouthful of blood.
...
At that moment, a flash of golden light streaked across the battlefield. Isshiki was kicked away by a sudden strike.
Bathed in golden chakra, Naruto Uzumaki tore the black rods from Kotetsu and Izumo's bodies, his voice cold and sharp.
"Stay back. I'll deal with him."
A second later, Sasuke Uchiha appeared at the village gate.
"Isshiki Ōtsutsuki... finally showing yourself instead of hiding in the shadows, huh?"
Isshiki's expression remained calm as he looked at them both.
"Two more insects... and you dare challenge me?"
"Today, I'll offer your corpses to the heavens."
Reincarnated through Jigen's body, Isshiki had regained the full power he possessed in life.
After thousands of years, he had returned to his peak—and his mindset had shifted. Where once he was wary of Uchiha Mirai, now he no longer cared.
Kawaki was right in front of him. There was no one left on this planet who could stop him.
"You talk big. Let's see if you're any different from the other Ōtsutsuki before you," Naruto retorted as he blurred into a yellow flash.
Isshiki stood still and threw a kick into the void.
Bang!
Naruto was sent flying by the sheer force of the strike.
"Too slow," Isshiki scoffed.
No sooner had the words left his mouth than black flames erupted across his body.
"Amaterasu!" Sasuke shouted, activating the deadly black fire.
Isshiki calmly downed the rest of his wine. The flames were absorbed into his body, vanishing without a trace.
Anyone watching would have said the same thing—
Elegant.
Absolutely, stunningly elegant.
With a wave of his hand, he sent the wine glass back into a separate dimension and charged straight at Sasuke.
Sasuke's eyes widened.
He's fast—too fast!
Even with his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, he could barely track Isshiki's blurred form. No wonder Naruto had been kicked like a ragdoll.
Sasuke didn't dare hold back. His ocular power surged wildly.
A moment later, a full-bodied Susanoo with wings appeared at the village gate.
"Hmph! This is the divine power of the Uchiha Clan!" Sasuke declared proudly from atop its head.
But no sooner had the words left his mouth than Isshiki leapt from the ground.
Boom!
His punch smashed straight through Susanoo, landing a clean hit on Sasuke and sending him flying.
"You're just ants. No matter how flashy your powers look, they're nothing compared to mine."
...
The battle between the three happened in the blink of an eye. Kotetsu and Izumo watched in stunned silence.
Naruto and Sasuke were the cream of the new generation—top-tier even among super-kage level shinobi.
And yet they'd been overwhelmed so easily...
It was terrifying.
Shk! Shk!
The moment they hit the ground, black rods stabbed into Naruto and Sasuke's bodies, rendering them incapable of fighting any further.
"Looks like I was being overly cautious earlier. To think I actually considered these insects a threat."
Isshiki's confidence had reached new heights.
He had been secretly gathering intel on the ninja world for a long time. He knew exactly who he had just defeated—Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.
They'd been hailed time and again as Uchiha Mirai's successors.
If that were true, they should've had power on par with Mirai himself.
But now... it was clear Mirai's reputation was hollow.
"Kawaki, become my vessel willingly. It is the greatest honor you could ever receive."
As Isshiki closed in, Kawaki turned and ran toward the village.
But in a flash, Isshiki was already in front of him, his hand clamped tightly around Kawaki's neck.
From the shadows, Amado Sanzu could no longer stay hidden. He prepared to activate the self-destruct device that would kill Kawaki.
But before he could make a move, Isshiki had already spotted him.
A volley of black rods nailed Amado to the ground.
Isshiki sneered, "Don't worry, Amado. I'll deal with you later."
Then he looked up at Kawaki, who was still struggling in the air.
"Finally... I've got you."
A slight smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth as he began the reincarnation ritual.
