His heart sank when the most menacing Old Serinerian suddenly stood up and began talking to the two sisters, his tone irritated and visibly dissatisfied, but his sudden change of demeanor didn't frighten the two of them. Watching this, Lin Mu couldn't help but feel even more confused as to how they could behave so boldly with such a monster.
While he was trying to wrap his head around what he was seeing, Lian suddenly turned towards him. her iridescent eyes locking onto his. She spoke to him in their tongue, her expression earnest as she gestured toward the supposed tribal head and then to Lin Mu.
Lin Mu blinked. "I… I don't understand what you're saying." He said, feeling helpless and frustrated.
