Aurora turned her head slowly, her eyes narrowing behind the veil.
A guy stood in the doorway, looking like he had just walked off a fashion magazine cover. He had bright blonde hair, deep green eyes, and was wearing flashy clothes that screamed 'attention!' He looked like a model, his posture perfect and his smile charming.
He stepped into the room confidently, as if he owned the place, and smiled toward the area where Aurora was sitting.
"Miss Dawn, even though I can't see your face," he said smoothly, "I can tell that you're very beautiful."
Aurora's eyes flashed with interest. She studied him carefully, trying to figure out who this person was. He seemed too... polished, too perfect to just be anyone.
Jonnah, sitting across from Aurora, stood up suddenly. His face went stiff as he saw the new guy.
"Micah, what are you doing here?" Jonnah asked, his voice cool and stiff.
Micah, the newcomer, flinched at Jonnah's cold tone. He placed a hand on his chest, looking almost hurt.
