Before completely leaving, the man paused, glancing back. His eyes, hidden in the shadows of his hooded cloak, regarded Cedric meaningfully. "Thank you for taking care of a previous nuisance," he continued, his voice calm yet subtly enigmatic.
Cedric remained silent, his eyes following the man's movements. However, the following words made him frown slightly.
"You seem lost."
The man paused, then continued in a lighter tone, yet somehow piercing. "Make sure you don't misinterpret the path. Don't let anything be reversed."
The man walked away. Cedric raised an eyebrow, confused by his words. Before Cedric could react further, the cloaked figure turned into another alley. Cedric quickened his pace, attempting to follow, but by the time he reached the intersection, the figure had vanished, swallowed by the city's shadows.
"....Astra." he finally said.
Astra floated closer. "What?"
"Can you double-check the system-provided map?"
