Through their conversation, Camila realized that Mia was a gentle yet strong-willed woman. Despite her fashionable and revealing attire, she was very conservative at heart and wary of men. Unlike her, Mia's relationship with her husband, though strained by distance, hadn't broken down, so she couldn't welcome another man into her as Camila had.
She was advising Mia not to be too repressed and to participate more in school activities to relieve her mood when Kevin barged in and called her Camila. Thankfully, he hadn't finished his sentence, or their secret relationship would have been found out.
Seeing the suspicion in Mia's eyes, Camila's heart skipped a beat. She put on a stern face and said, "Kevin, what's wrong with you? I asked you to come get the homework, and you come so late?" She pointed to a stack of homework on the desk and said, "Take it and leave. Next time, come earlier."
