Mia did feel some sympathy for Kevin. Teenage boys were naturally curious about a woman's body and were in a period of sexual awakening. For a boy whose body had developed too quickly, this curiosity was even more intense. Mia remembered the trouble and confusion brought on by her overly full breasts in high school. Kevin might be facing similar confusions, his uncontrollable sexual urges and ridicules from peers, which could easily destroy a still-maturing mind.
Mia felt an impulse to talk to Kevin to help him properly face his rapid physical development. But she feared this might be misunderstood, as she wasn't his homeroom teacher or family member and had no obligation to teach him about physiology.
