Master Sheng again hopped off his desk and held out his hand, "then I hope everything goes well and I'll sort everything out for you."
Hou and Hamar both grabbed Master Sheng's hand and shook it. Hou looked him in the eyes, "but first...can we have tomorrow off? We need to do something?"
Master Sheng sighed and shook his head, "I will allow it this one time, if you finish early come into class even if it's just for a moment."
Hamar let go and Hou followed, they both nodded simultaneously. They turned around and went to open the door they came in through.
They held the doorknob and with their other hands waved goodbye. They turned the door open and their bodies changed colour.
The red colour of Hamar's blood and galaxy coloured blood of Hou shone. They felt stretched and squished all at the same time as they transformed into blood.
Yet somehow, they retained their senses and saw as the twirled while flying through the air and speed. They went through the corridors going around tight corners with perfect precision.
Then they slammed into their door and seeped through the keyhole. On the other side, their blood separated into Hou and Hamar, then forming back into their bodies.
Hamar cracked his neck and then started to speak while yawning, "so what's that way to give away aura?"
"Well first..." Hou motioned to quiet and carefully rummaged through his jacket. He threw a disk into the floor, clicking a button with his feet.
Miasma seeped out and covered the whole room. Then it compressed into the walls and shimmered. Hou look I to the room closely then armed his Bloodbane Dragon.
He held his hand out aiming his worst with a dragons face on it towards the room, "Come out!"
Hamar saw that Hou was being very serious and grasped his sword, pulling it out of its sheathe. He held it ready to attack or defend at any moment.
Then from under Hou's bed and loud bang could be heard. Followed shortly by a high pitched "oww".
The bed rumbled and then the covers were blown off. As the blanket fell to eh ground a woman could be seen holding her head and crawling out of under the bed.
Hou froze and then dropped his raised arm, "Xiao Xiao?" He walked over and offered his hand to stand up.
"Umm...hi again" Instantly despite Hou's change, there was something that she could sense who he was.
"Uh, why are you here? No. The real question, why were you under my bed? No, both, just explain yourself?!" Hou was raiding his voice but not in an angry tone, more inquisitive.
The woman stopped rubbing her head, hurt fork hitting it in the bedframe, and stood up straight. She had bright red hair and wore a short black robe with white trims.
Hou noticed the robes and before Xiao Xiao could answer he asked Dan other questions, "White trim? Are you also Tier one!?"
Xiao Xiao covered her ears then changed her tactics and covered Hou's mouth. She looked towards Hamar and saw that his sword was still drawn, "I'm not a threat, everyone calm down! Just sit down. I'll explain!"
She let go of Hou's mouth then sat down on Hou's bed, looking at Hamar. He took the hint and carefully withdrew his blade, sheathing it again. She looked to Hou and back to Hamar then sighed.
"So I'll explain from the start for this new person's benefit-"
Hamar coughed, "the names Ha-...Hei Feng" he almost got used to his real name and exposed himself but at the last moment switched to his alias.
Hou rubbed his glabella, "and my name is Hu Li, the one I used before with you Xiao Xiao was an alias"
Xiao Xiao opened her mouth and then furrowed her brows, "okay we're all hiding out identities then...I'm not stupid I heard 'Hei Feng' slip up and so I doubt your own 'Hu Li' but I'm not judging."
She wiped her face and it morphed and took on a new appearance, "I'm actually also not who I'm saying bitrate isn't important. I should owe you an explanation so I don't get chopped or sliced or burned or anything really."
Hou and Hamar both looked at eachother and shrugged, if they're hiding their identities it makes sense she should be allowed to.
"So...I'm Xiao Ye as Hu Li had seen and interacted with in Freedom Haven. Just an ordinary clerk at an inn, not a cultivator. Well..."
She wiped her face again and returned to the original face she came in with, "of course that isn't true. I'm...a certain person's disciple but I can't say who. All you need to know is that I need to join Sovereign Sect and I thought sneaking in was the best way. I could tell you were going here from some... intelligence I gathered."
Hou became suspicious instantly, 'Able to gather intelligence from an Elder...but most importantly...I didn't plan to go to Sovereign Sect. This was decided after I met Xiao Ye, right? "You...teleported where the pill was after it decayed? So...if I ate it you would've teleported into my body?!" Hou jumped back in horror.
Xiao Ye smiled, "good thing you didn't then" then she winked. She leant back and then continued, "so that's about all I can say. I'll be joining in your little group for my mission."
Hamar opened his mouth, "How can you join when you don't actually belong here though, you snuck in?"
Xiao Ye chuckled and wipe her face, morphing into a new person, "like this duh. I'll take someone else's identity."
