Chapter 74 - Chapter 74: Raw Destruction, Bankai’s Fury

An invisible gravitational force surged toward the Hōgyoku.

The azure orb, floating in midair, was pulled dozens of meters away—right into the hand of Tendō Pain.

Or rather, into the hand of Nanaya, who was controlling Tendō Pain.

He looked down at the sphere with a conflicted expression and muttered:

"How do you even use this thing...?"

He had briefly considered using the Hōgyoku himself when he obtained it.

But… it was completely unresponsive.

He couldn't sense any power from it—none at all.

Even when he pressed it to his chest, expecting a reaction, he felt no increase in strength.

Thinking it through, though, it made sense. The Hōgyoku was still incomplete. It hadn't been fully refined—it needed Aizen Sōsuke's research to unlock its full potential.

Right now, it was just a ticking time bomb.

Still, there was no way he was handing it over to Aizen.

Everyone believed Yhwach was the final boss—but Nanaya thought Aizen in the later stages was even more dangerous.

"Nanaya!"

Aizen's tone was low and dangerous.

The Hōgyoku—so close he could almost touch it—had just been taken right in front of him. And by a human, no less.

Even Aizen, calm as he usually was, looked visibly irritated.

To him, this was a humiliation.

"What are you staring at, huh? Looking at your dad?" Nanaya sneered, completely unbothered by Aizen's glare.

They were enemies anyway—no reason to hold back.

"Arrogant brat," Aizen said coldly. "You may have some strange abilities, but you're still just a human. What could you possibly know about true power?"

He raised his hand:

"Hadō No. 90: Black Coffin!"

The spell formed in an instant—a jet-black cube materializing around Nanaya.

But before the spell could finish forming, Nanaya also raised his hand and calmly repeated:

"Hadō No. 90: Black Coffin."

Another black coffin appeared—this time enveloping Aizen himself.

Nanaya had copied the technique using his Sharingan.

Both men were swallowed by their respective dark voids.

Inside the pitch-black dimension, Nanaya's purple Rinnegan shimmered faintly. Blades of spiritual energy—countless sword strikes—cut through the darkness.

Nanaya didn't hesitate. He raised his right hand:

"Shinra Tensei!"

A powerful repulsive force burst outward.

This wasn't just any Shinra Tensei—it was the enhanced version from the Outer Path, capable of crushing everything around him.

The sword strikes were obliterated.

And the black coffin… shattered.

Back in the real world—

Aizen had already broken free from his own Black Coffin. His Zanpakutō was drawn, and several captains were now surrounding him—including Captain-Commander Yamamoto himself.

Aizen's eyes narrowed when he saw Nanaya step out of the collapsing coffin unharmed.

He hadn't expected Nanaya to survive.

"Hey, hey! You idiots! Don't get too close to him!" Nanaya shouted.

They were wasting their time. Attacking Aizen in a group wouldn't help.

With Kyōka Suigetsu's illusion, they couldn't even tell friend from foe.

But the Shinigami captains ignored his warning and instead looked toward Yoruichi for direction.

Even knowing Aizen's Shikai was terrifying, they still believed they could overpower him.

"Aizen!" Yamamoto's voice boomed. "There's nowhere left to run. Come to Room 46 and explain what you've done!"

Aizen calmly adjusted his glasses.

"Run? Captain-Commander, I think there's a misunderstanding.""I never intended to run. And besides—those people in Room 46… are already dead."

"No one is left to judge me."

(TLnote-aura farming at its peak*aizen the goat)

The captains' faces paled.

Then, as if on cue, a terrified voice cried out in the distance:

"Captain Hitsugaya! It's terrible—Room 46… everyone is dead!"

"What!?"

Hitsugaya Tōshirō's face turned white with shock.

Yamamoto's eyes blazed with fury."Aizen! Have you betrayed the Soul Society!?"

Before anyone could stop him, he raised his blade and swung—

But Nanaya's face twitched.

"Hey, old man! You're about to start the afterlife's retirement home early—look who you're swinging at!"

From his angle, it was clear:

Yamamoto's sword was headed straight for Ukitake.

The old captain's brow twitched, but… he didn't stop.

He completed the swing.

Jūshirō Ukitake's scalp tingled with alarm. He leapt backward just in time to dodge the incoming inferno—one powerful enough to scorch the sky.

Only then did everyone's vision clear again.

At that moment, the two hidden traitors within the ranks made their move.

Ichimaru Gin and Tōsen Kaname suddenly unleashed their Reiatsu and stabbed their Zanpakutōs straight into the backs of their fellow captains—without hesitation, without mercy.

Caught completely off guard, Byakuya Kuchiki and Hitsugaya Tōshirō stumbled forward, clutching their bleeding sides.

"Ichimaru Gin! Tōsen Kaname!!" they shouted in fury, blood seeping through their white haoris.

Gin casually withdrew his blade and retreated to Aizen's side, Shinsō glinting in the light. With his trademark smirk, he said:

"Captain Kuchiki, didn't I warn you long ago? No matter the time or place… you should always watch your back around me."

Tōsen remained silent, his expression unreadable beneath his blindfold.

Byakuya and Hitsugaya gritted their teeth. Their injuries were severe—and humiliating.

Nanaya let out a slow breath."From now on, you'll all do exactly what I say. No exceptions."

But before his words even settled, Komamura Sajin charged forward with a roar:

"Aizen! What the hell are you trying to do, you bastard!?"

Nanaya stared at him blankly.Good intentions never reach idiots.

"Poor guy..." he muttered. "He's heading straight back to the hospital."

Aizen, still calm and composed, simply raised a hand.

"Hadō No. 90: Black Coffin."

The jet-black cube engulfed Komamura instantly.

From within, Komamura howled in rage, confident that if Nanaya could break free, then so could he.

But moments later, the Black Coffin dissipated—and Komamura collapsed, his body soaked in blood, disbelief frozen on his face.

Only now did he understand. Nanaya's earlier deflection had made the spell seem weak—but Aizen's Black Coffin was on a completely different level.

Inside it, every slash was as deadly as a vice-captain's strike. Thousands of cutting blades tore into him with no chance of defense.

As darkness closed in, Komamura blacked out on the spot.

Gasps echoed around the battlefield.

Captain Komamura had been defeated again—this time, by a single Kidō.

Captain-Commander Yamamoto's fury boiled over. He raised Ryūjin Jakka, and waves of fire exploded from the blade—hotter than six thousand degrees.

"Fortress Flame—Erupt!"

A circle of roaring flame burst outward, surrounding all the Shinigami captains in an inferno.

Nanaya rolled his eyes.

"Old man, can't you listen for once?"

He was likely the only one who could resist Kyōka Suigetsu's illusion—but Yamamoto refused to heed his warning.

And sure enough, once the flames settled, Yamamoto realized something was wrong.

His expression darkened.

He hadn't trapped Aizen, Gin, or Tōsen… but had instead imprisoned Kyoraku Shunsui and the others inside a sea of fire.

At that moment, Aizen calmly took off his glasses.

He reached into his coat, pulled out a small container of ancestral hair wax, and slicked back his hair.

Instantly, his entire aura changed.

Gone was the composed and refined captain. In his place stood a man exuding arrogance and overwhelming dominance.

Even his facial features seemed different now.This... was the real Aizen Sōsuke.

With a single glance at the flame-filled battlefield, Aizen charged toward Tendō Pain—toward the Hōgyoku.

But Gin and Tōsen stepped in, blocking Nanaya's path.

Nanaya stopped, eyes cold.

"You two think you can stop me?"

Tōsen's face twisted with hatred."You brat... Do you think you can defeat two captains alone?"

Nanaya didn't answer with words.

Instead, his Reiatsu exploded outward, shaking the air itself.

A towering figure rose behind him—the complete form of Susanoo, cloaked in blazing power like a divine warrior born from battle itself.

"Bankai: Suzumushi Tsuishiki—Enma Kōrogi!""Bankai: Kamishini no Yari!"

Tōsen and Gin activated their Bankai simultaneously.

A black sphere expanded around them, consuming vision, sound, smell, and even spiritual pressure. Only the sense of touch remained.

It was as if they had been dropped into a world of total darkness.

Tōsen quickly shouted:

"Gin! Grab my hand! If we link, you'll be able to function normally here!"

He intended to combine their powers—Gin's Kamishini no Yari was a perfect assassination weapon in this environment.

"Yeah, I got it—" Gin began.

But before he could finish his sentence…

CRACK!

The pitch-black space shattered like glass.

From the darkness, the colossal Susanoo emerged, slicing through the void with a single stroke.

(TLnote-stroke me.)

Everything around them was reduced to rubble in an instant.
