"Scythe of the Darkborn? Isn't that Kayn's passive?"
Yuhara blinked at the ability, stunned. He didn't even bother checking the other options.
None of them came close to what he needed, especially compared to the rewards he got after becoming clan head.
But he didn't mind. In his eyes, "Scythe of the Darkborn" was already a huge win.
He remembered how it worked in the game—Kayn collected power and could eventually transform into an assassin or warrior form.
Here, though, it boosted a specific physical attribute.
Unlocking the Mangekyō had already enhanced him, mostly in terms of chakra—both its amount and quality.
But his physical improvements—speed, strength, reflexes—were relatively lacking.
Of course, that's "relatively" compared to his chakra boost. He knew he had improved overall.
Still, it got him thinking: why did his chakra increase so much, while his physical stats lagged behind?
He had a theory.
Maybe the Mangekyō enhanced whatever a person was already good at.
"Like… if I'm better at ninjutsu than taijutsu, then my Mangekyō boosts my chakra more. But if someone's naturally faster or stronger, maybe they get physical buffs instead?"
Not a far-fetched idea. Even Madara once talked about "straight tomoe" and how agile Sasuke was.
Though, Yuhara remembered Sasuke was using Itachi's eyes by then.
Shaking his head, he didn't care about tomoe types or whatever. What mattered was that he had a glaring weakness.
His speed didn't even come close to Shisui's. But Shisui's chakra pool was way smaller.
So Yuhara was more than willing to patch his own flaws.
"Besides, maybe this kind of balanced growth is what leads to Eternal Mangekyō!"
His theory: combining a chakra-focused Mangekyō with a physically-focused one might result in a stable, non-degenerative Eternal Mangekyō.
Problem was, he didn't have a brother. And even if he did, he wouldn't go down that route.
So his only hope was getting the right ability from the system.
No hesitation—Yuhara picked "Scythe of the Darkborn."
The moment he acquired it, a semi-transparent orb split into two halves appeared on his system screen.
The left half was full. The right half was completely empty. Clearly, that was his current progress bar.
"Alright then. Gotta fill the right side up."
[Skill Acquired: Scythe of the Darkborn]
[Activation Requirement: Life Force Charge]
[Life Force: Jonin = 25, Chunin = 20, Genin = 10, regular enemies = 1–5 (varies)]
[Note: Ninja rank ≠ strength. Please work hard.]
Yuhara nodded. It worked just like when he got "Glorious Evolution."
But this time, it was way easier. Not only was he Uchiha clan head now, he also had control of the Police Force.
And the Police Force had direct access to the village prison.
He didn't even have to leave the village—he could just execute death-row inmates!
"Or, if I wanna get fancy, I could round up some bandits, strike a deal with a small hidden village, and have them 'officially promote' the bandits to jonin. Boom—done."
There were tons of loopholes, after all. This wasn't like the last mission where he needed both power and practice.
Now he was in his "big boss" phase. No need to run around outside the village risking his life.
Smart use of resources was key.
"Looks like I need to take over the Police Force ASAP. I'll swing by today—lowkey. This ability's too good to waste.
And with the village calm for now, I can start sorting out my backlog."
With that, Yuhara got up to wash.
He had a lot on his plate. Managing the clan alone was massive, not to mention handling the various resources he now controlled.
First issue: Itachi's eye. Should he give it to Fugaku? Or Sasuke?
Second: Obito's arm. That thing was practically a goldmine.
Without access to Hashirama cells or White Zetsu tissue, most isekai protagonists could only rely on Obito's modified arm.
This one had been enhanced by both Black Zetsu and Madara. It was loaded with Hashirama's DNA—handled right, it could boost the entire clan.
As for Danzō's arm—that was evidence. Yuhara wouldn't touch it.
Not that he planned to use any of this on himself anyway. As a transmigrator, he wasn't about to start jamming random parts into his body.
Look at Danzō—half monster. Obito's pale, dead-looking arm? Hard pass.
His biggest ace was still his system. He trusted the rewards it gave him—he was sure he'd pull another jackpot like "Glorious Evolution."
"Something like 'Ascent to Godhood,' or 'Kindred's Mark,' or even the passive 'Void Assault' would be nice."
The system gave him plenty of confidence. But to draw more good stuff, he needed to keep making the clan stronger.
After a quick rinse, Yuhara quietly headed off to the Police Force HQ.
