Sitting amidst the ruins, Gegee's boys had lit a fire and gathered around it, a dented teapot sitting on top as steam rose into the still air. Leonel projected a translucent blue screen, watching Gegee's movements from where they were seated.
But unknown to any of them, resting in a luxurious bed lined with silk sheets, Darren was watching too. Through his skill, Mark of the Forged, which turned people into loyal servants, he could see exactly what Leonel saw through his tech nodes. Which meant—he was watching Gegee too.
"Damn…" the driver murmured, his mouth full of cheap protein bar. "Gegee looks dangerous hot."
"She's the boss's favorite," Leonel replied dryly, not taking his eyes off the screen. "What did you expect?"
"I just wanna see how she plays the boy dressed like that. I've heard stories about her skills… can't wait to see 'em in action." Another man snorted, pouring burnt coffee into a cracked ceramic mug.
