Chapter 32 - Chapter Thirty Two

Lopen

I stared at Kleilla, quirking up my brow. "Are you just going to give me the plate number like that or you wish to bargain with it? If it's the latter, save your breathe"

"Whether you want to believe it or not, I don't have any interest in you, Alpha Lopen" Kleilla boldly declares. "I have feelings for another that I wish to spend the rest of my life with but can't"

"Why?"

"Because my father wouldn't grant me his blessing to wed Lady Catherine"

Lady Catherine was an alpha of the De merci household. She was the only daughter of Lord De merci.

The mere thought of an alpha and another alpha getting wedded itself was absurd to begin with.

"I didn't know you were attracted to women, Kleilla"

She rolled her eyes. "Spare me the details. No one would have ever thought you were attracted to men either. Last time I heard, you and Jacqueline were to be wedded"

I shrugged. "But now she's nowhere to be found"

"Which I strongly believe you have something to do with that but I won't ask further. What you do is none of my business"

"Well, that's unfortunate" I concluded. "Since, you've given me your word that you want nothing to do with me; I'll take that evidence of yours now"

"Wait" Kleilla commands. "This doesn't mean I don't want anything in exchange for this evidence"

I groaned. "Here we go"

"It's something you can give me so hear me out"

"Alright, hit me"

"I intend to come out with my relationship with Lady Catherine just as you've done" Kleilla states. "What that day comes, I'd like your support. That's all I ask"

"It's not going to be easy for you because you're a woman. Are you sure about your decision?"

Kleilla nods, unfailingly. "I'm a hundred percent sure"

"Then, you'll have my full support"

"Thank you" She hands over her phone to me. "There it is; the van's plate number"

I quickly snapped it and send it over to Cairn for analysis. His response came back almost immediately. "It's a fake license plate number"

Of course, it was. Kent wouldn't be that stupid.

"You can leave now, Kleilla" I say, handing her phone over to her. "I need a minute to be alone"

Once she was out of sight, I called Cairn. "Tick tock, your 24hours is almost up. Haven't you gotten any good news for me?"

"If you want me to work faster then stop side tracking me. I'll call you when I find someth-"

I hung up, randomly tossing my phone across the room and letting out a loud scream. I was loosing my mind not knowing where Emmiel was.

But enough of the little talks. Kent had taken Emmiel so it was time to burn the omega facility down to the ground. "Davin!"

Davin rushes into my room. "Yes, alpha?"

"Gather a small team with no involvement or permission from the alpha Council" I dictate. "We're going to raid the omega facilty"

Davin hesitates. "What if this is a trap, Alpha?"

"I don't care" I declared. "An eye for an eye. Until Emmiel is returned back to me safe and sound, I'm going to take everything that has even an iota of a meaning to Kent and squash it with my bare hands. Now, go do as I'd commanded"

"Yes, alpha!"

Once Davin was out of sight, I prepared my weapons. No single life was going to escape the facility alive today.

Davin re-enters. "We're ready, Alpha"

Together with the troupe, we marched towards the omega facilty. On getting there, there seemed to be a bonding ceremony already in session.

I cleared my throat, earning the attention of all the gathered guests. Whispers and murmur filled the air.

"Alpha Lopen" A familiar voice speaks, stepping out from the crowd. "What are you doing here?"

"Assemblyman Theodore, greeting" I respond. Assemblyman Theodore was an alpha of high ranking status.

He wasn't on a par level with me but I dared not offend a politician.

"What brings you to a lowly place like this, Alpha Lopen?" Theodore asked. "I thought you just got married few hours earlier"

"As a matter of fact, I did get married few hours earlier as you'd just said and I'm supposed to be on my honeymoon" I clarified. "But, Kent really seems to have bad timing with these games of his"

"You wouldn't happen to know where he ran off to, would you?" I asked.

Assemblyman Theodore shook his head. "I don't know. He'd informed me earlier that he was travelling when I'd called to book a date for my bonding ceremony"

Typical Kent. He must have thought this far off. "So now, you're holding it without his presence because it was booked down?"

"Yes"

"Then I assume, tomorrow and next Tommorrow has also been booked for a bonding ceremony by potential alpha's just as yourself?"

"It's safe to say so"

I laughed wholeheartedly. Never had I been amazed by anything before. Kent really was a man of many talents.

"When would your bonding ceremony end today?" I asked Theodore.

"It just started. Why?"

It just started. I didn't have that much patience to wait. "I intend to burn this building to the ground in the next 19 minutes. Do you think you can wrap up your ceremony by then?"

Theodore furrowed his brow, confused. "Burn this place to the ground? You can't do that just because you have a potential rife with Kent. Potential alphas have paid money to Kent to be bonded to an omega"

"I'll give them times two of all their money back"

Theodore rolled his eyes. "The problem isn't in the money. It's in the omega"

"Are you certain the omega you are getting bonded to is a recessive omega?" I asked. "Kent deceived me and made me bond to a dominant omega. Now that he's pregnant, he kidnaps him from my wedding. I can bet my two cents that if Kent intends to use my unborn child to earn money as it carries my bloodline. That's the same thing he's going to do to every alpha. Why? Because he's a money-grubbing bastard"

I paused. "If you don't want to be in the same situation as I am; call Kent to refund back your money. Now, get out of my way while I burn this place"
