Chapter 53 - Chapter 53: The Body of the Herrscher of Earth Begins to Collapse Like a Falling Star

The body of the Herrscher of Earth began to collapse, just like a dying star plummeting through the cosmos. It rapidly imploded inward, radiating a terrifying gravitational force that twisted space itself. Even the Honkai beasts and mechas several kilometers away were being dragged toward him, unable to stand firm.

He was trying to transform himself into a black hole—to drag Whitebeard into it and ensure their mutual destruction.

"If you've got the guts, try and run!" the Herrscher of Earth roared with manic laughter. In this form, even the Herrscher of the End would be doomed if caught—there was no way this guy could survive!

"Run?" Whitebeard sneered, shooting a disdainful glance at his opponent. "I'm Whitebeard! If I die, I die in battle. You think I'd run? And you—you think you have the power to make me flee? Let me show you what real strength looks like!"

Every muscle on Whitebeard's body tensed. Despite the overwhelming gravitational force pulling at him from such a close distance, not a single inch of his massive frame budged.

Tremendous vibrational energy surged into his fists, warping the space around them. Reality itself cracked like shattered glass, unable to withstand the force, only to heal and fracture again.

"Heavenquake: Voidshatter!"

With a thunderous shout, Whitebeard slammed both fists forward with unrelenting force.

CRACK—CRACK—CRAAACK…!

The very fabric of space splintered outward in all directions. Even the Sea of Quanta trembled under the weight of this overwhelming blow.

"Impossible! How could a mere human possess this kind of power?!" the Herrscher of Earth screamed, cracks spiderwebbing across his body. His black hole transformation was forcibly interrupted—his end was near.

Wide-eyed and in disbelief, the Herrscher tried to burn the image of Whitebeard into his memory, even as his body was torn apart by the expanding fissures.

The Herrscher of Earth—dead.

Whitebeard chuckled, clearly satisfied. Looked like he really was a lot stronger than that idiot Garp.

BOOOOM…!

A deafening shockwave echoed nearby.

The Herrscher of Wind and the Herrscher of Lightning were being effortlessly beaten down by Garp in his Titan form.

Titan-Garp didn't just wield thunder—he had mastery over wind as well. Against someone like him, the Wind and Lightning Herrschers' attacks were useless—worse, they were actually replenishing his energy.

Physically, the two Herrschers couldn't even come close to matching Garp. He was literally rubbing them into the dirt.

"Damn it! I just wasted tens of thousands of crystals on this," Garp muttered as he cast a glance toward Whitebeard in the distance. "Edward's getting way too strong… I guess I can't afford to hold back anymore either. Time to end this."

Turning his attention back to his two struggling opponents, Garp's smile made their spines go cold.

"Armament Haki: Hardened Gauntlets!"

A massive surge of black Armament Haki condensed around Garp's giant fists, forming pitch-black gauntlets that absorbed all light like miniature black holes. The sight alone was enough to send chills down anyone's back.

Garp didn't bother with any fancy techniques. His fists were the technique.

Whatever your move was—he'd just punch through it.

This was the path Garp walked, echoing the will of a godlike being: "You may have ten thousand techniques. I need only one fist to break them all."

The outcome was obvious. Under Garp's monstrous fists, the two Herrschers didn't even last three seconds. They were obliterated into ash.

Meanwhile, far away, Kiana and Celine had fallen into a fierce one-on-one battle.

"I didn't expect you to be able to control the power of the Herrscher of the Void to this degree," Celine admitted after forcing Kiana back with a strike. "You've really impressed me."

"Oh, I've got a lot more tricks than that," Kiana shot back, rapidly closing the distance again to resume the fight.

Compared to the others, the duel between these two Herrschers of the Void was less visually dramatic—but no less intense.

They danced through the void, flinging spatial spears at each other. Both used space-folding techniques to deflect and return the attacks.

Hundreds of Void Spears zipped between them in a deadly ballet.

"You can't win this," Celine said with a confident smile. "We have the same power, but I have the energy of the Honkai itself. You'll lose eventually."

She was right. As a Herrscher connected to the Honkai, her energy continuously replenished itself.

Kiana, on the other hand, was visibly winded after using so much power. She was breathing hard and fading fast. At this rate, her loss was inevitable.

"You're right. I can't beat you alone," Kiana said with a faint smile. "But, Celine—I'm not alone."

"...'Not alone'?" Celine froze for a second. She had no one left. No companions, no allies.

Kiana didn't waste the moment. She opened a portal above Celine.

Just as Celine tried to retreat, a flaming blade burst from the portal—slicing through the air straight toward her.

Caught off guard, Celine was struck head-on and thrown to the ground.

"Damn it! Don't get cocky!" she screamed, unleashing all her power in a furious burst.

Behind her, the Void Spears transformed—becoming soft like cloth, yet sharp like swords.

These blades tore through space, hurtling toward Kiana and her partner. One touch would shred them into pieces.

At that moment, another portal silently opened behind Celine.

Just before the blades reached Kiana and the other, they froze in midair—then shattered into fragments.

Celine looked down, stunned, at the sword piercing through her chest. She could feel her power draining away.

"…You've lost, Celine," Kiana said softly, teleporting to stand before her. Mei stepped out from behind Celine, sword in hand, and stood silently at Kiana's side, her gaze complicated.

"I… lost?" Celine whispered. "Maybe that's not so bad. I can finally go… and find them."

"We never intended to kill you," Kiana said gently.

Celine was stunned. "Why? Why not kill me? I don't need your pity! You damn humans… you don't deserve to live! As long as I breathe, I'll keep destroying you! So just—kill me already!"

She broke down, tears spilling from her eyes. Her voice trembled, and at the end… it almost sounded like she was begging.
