As they ran away that Clinton guy kept following them so he cane up with the idea of using shortcuts it was an ally but more dangerous since that's where most drugs are being taken and sometimes sold in large quantities, well the mist dangerous path can also be considered safe if a pervert is following them around like a headless chicken hence his idea.

As they walked away hand in hand he heard the other gangsters calling there leader and asking to go snd avenge him for the humiliation but they were stopped by him. " Thst feisty really got me interested in her by just a single beat." He said and at the same time Carter looked back and saw those obsessed eyes making a shiver ran down his spine. He looked at the innocent girl in front of him and thanked her for the help embarrassment written all over his face before walking faster to get rid of the blush formed on his face and asked her to walk a little bit faster . Today ue was so happy because for the first time after his grandmother died someone took his side without caring about there own and protected uim so well . He smiled at the thought of Charline always protecting him just thinking about it made his mood improve making his smile become wider. He looked back to make sure that he never left her too far off.
They arrived home,yes that was his own home a warm place that was only his the dormitory room, he walked in throwing his shoes as he went wnd sat down on the bed, resting his head for a bit as he thought of what to eat for supper before going to the night market to get some clothes for Charline who was now sitting obediently at the chair near the etudy table.
" Do you also eat food or you don't feel hungry at all this moment ," she looked at him with the questioning look that made him sigh in relief but the only problem is that she rarely talks to and is more obedient whenever he is around but that wasn't the problem because he is used to the quite atmosphere ,he got used to it for ten years . He looked around wnd the only food available was a salad which could be made with the ingredients he had inside the house.
He prepared it quickly chopping the vegetables and putting them together before adding some cream to add some flavour to the available salad and served for him and Charline to test the theory that she could be able to eat . She first looked at the serving on her plate and pocked the salad using a fork before tasting it , few minutes later her eyes brightened making her more childish that he ever thought . Well that was her first bite and also the first food she's ever eaten from the time she was created.
"It really tastes good,can I have more I really like it master can you teach me how to make it, it would make me really happy." Those shining eyes told Carter everything he needed to know and his theory about Charline eating was also confirmed so thst only meant that he had two stomachs to feed, this made him worry well he bever had enough money and the savings he had are going to be used tonight to get appropriate clothes for her to wear furthermore his shirts can not be appropriate for her to wear all the time so he cane up with the idea of buying some clothes for her to wear.
He went to the kitchen and brought the remaining salad and added it to her plate before getting seated qnd eating his meal . When he was done he put the plates inside the sink and washed them since he never wanted any repacussions to happen after getting a companion and company he didn't want any miss ups to occur, he became more careful when it came to Charlie's health after all loosing her takes away a lot of his life force that was what his grandmother once said even though at this particular moment his life force is also gone due to drawing but it wasn't as dangerous as when she is gone.
" Charline we need to go out and buy you some clothes to wear when ever tou go around wnd I don't know your size so we will go together to get everything right and not make any mistakes so hurry and come down before many people go to the nigh market and it becomes too crowded."
"Can't you just draw some clothes for me to wear instead of just wasting money on buying clothes or going out at this hour." She said from the bathroom making him wonder what she was doing there wnd he panicked really panicked and ran as fast as his legs could carry him to find her looking at herself in the mirror making gim breathe a sigh of relief , she never touched water Carter thought to himself before asking what she was doing.
"I was just looking at my face because it brings a lot of flies around and I never knew what I looked like so its only natural for me to see for myself how much problems I will face by judging my face by myself and one more thing don't worry too much because I can touch the manufactured water but not the water from the rain because rainy water makes the colours wore off , I remember and also spirits or any alcohol can also make me melt.
For the rain don't worry too much I can move through walls see," she merged with the wall perfectly making one to think that it was a drawing on the wall, qell Carter never expected such a thing to happen so he smiled at her as he motioned for her to move from the wall since they had no time to waste.
He held her hands as he started moving towards the door, he gave her a pair of shoes that looked at least dessent at that moment and he wore flip flops walked towards the market area when Charline spoke suddenly.
