Peter flipped through the pages of the newspaper looking for an affordable yet high end car. He had noticed that Flash Thompson had an expensive car that he would keep on using to impress Mary Jane. Peter knew that if he could get a car somehow, he could finally compete with Flash and win Mary Jane not to mention that his status would go up drastically.
As Peter got to the last page he noticed some good cars with high end performance and cool features. But it was expensive. Peter felt annoyed by its price but just as he was about quit he noticed 30.000 dollars as a price money for defeating a guy named bonesaw in a wrestling match. The article said that whoever wins or last for 3 minutes against bonesaw will win.
Peter realized that this was his go get'em call again. He decided to use his powers to his advantage. But Peter new he needed a costume and a mask. He groaned in frustration and sat on his chair. I can Give you the thing you need right now a Voice suddenly said in Peter's mind. Surprised by this happening Peter looked around in his room.
Who's there he asked. Nothing happened. Peter went downstairs and ran into Uncle Ben. Did you hear anyone talking other than the three of us Peter asked feeling bother by his experience. No son Uncle Ben responded. Why do you ask? He added as he asked.
Oh no nothing just wondering Peter responded. You ok Pete Uncle Ben asked out of concern. Yeah, I am Fine! Peter responded in excitement trying to hide his confusion in order to avoid being suspicious. Peter Went upstairs back to his room.
Peter Entered his room somewhat confused. Here you go the same voice said again as a strange black slime like substance came out and covered his clothes. Before peter could react the black substance disappeared and peter saw that his clothes were changed. he was wearing blue T shirt instead of a red one he was wearing just a few seconds ago.
Holy shit! Peter reacted in amazement. Um... Peter? Uncle Ben called out. Everything ok son? He added. Yup Peter responded. better than before he added without considering the addition of suspicious behavior.
Peter concentrated and visualised his costume for the Wrestling match. Peter was visualizing with both of his eyes closed but when he opened his eyes, Amazement and excitement consumed him. It was exactly what he needed.
In the original timeline it was a red outfit and a red mask where only his eyes were revealed. Bun in this timeline it was a black costume. There was no mask. Peter chose not to worry as he was aware of the fact that he just needed to visualize it and he was good to go.
Peter put on a grey hoodie and zipped it. Peter Went down the stairs. Pete Aunt May called out. I am going to the library Peter responded as he was in a hurry and excitement.
Hold on Uncle Ben said. I'll drive you to the library he added. No need to worry I will go by train Peter responded in refusal. Actually, I will get some exercise by dropping you so please let me come Uncle Ben responded. OK, Peter said getting a little annoyed.
Both made their way to the destination. Alright see you later Uncle Ben Peter Said as he was about to get down. Oh Wait Son Uncle Ben said. We need to talk he added.
We can talk later Peter said in a hurry.
Well, we can talk now Uncle Ben insisted. If you let me he added.
What do we have to talk about? Peter Asked Why now? He added.
We haven't talked for so long Uncle Ben said. May and I don't know who you are. You shirk your chores. You have all those weird experiments in your room He added. You start fights at school Uncle Ben continued.
I told you I didn't start that fight! Peter Said as he snapped. The words were his own and so were his emotions, however the unchecked emotion level and the intentions were along with motives were originating from a source that was not the Peter Parker Ben knew.
In the original spiderman timeline Peter Just got impatient and out of line due to his impatience and failure of understanding his responsibilities. However in this timeline, this was the moment were the Venom symbiote was beginning to influence Peter's ideology and emotions, Pushing him into a darker version of himself with the intentions of changing his character.
You sure as hell finished it Uncle Ben responded.
Was I supposed to run away? Peter asked.
No, you're not supposed to run away, but... Uncle Ben responded You're changing. I went through exactly the same thing at your age he added trying to help him understand.
No. Not exactly Peter responded. In this timeline he added that There are a few things you don't know about me. I am different from others because I have the potential to be better. This added statement was the effect of the Venom symbiote's influence as an ability to corrupt its host until they lose their mind and themselves into darkness, pain and madness that pushes to downfall until the light and hope is lost as the character and the original personality is replaced by something else, something dark.
You may be right Uncle Ben responded. I'll come to pick you up at 10 he added.
Peter got out of the car as he pretended to go towards the library. When he was sure no one noticed he concentrated on his clothes. In response to his orders the Venom symbiote reacted a took the shape of the costume Peter Visualized in his mind.
Scene Break:
Location: Wrestling ring:
This Match is not for skinny people and kids like you the Booker said as she refused to write Peter's name. I will manage myself so don't worry and please write the name Peter said.
In the original spiderman timeline the Booker got convinced and wrote the name denying the liability in case of injuries or death.
I said no the Booker refused again. This is no place for kids so get out she added.
Just write the name bitch Peter Demanded as he lost his patience.
Excuse me? The Booker asked.
I said write the name bitch Peter responded.
The booker gave a sign of insult and grabbed her phone. Alright, now you're screwed she said. The booker made a phone call to the security. Hello security, there is a guy here who forcing his way into the wrestling ring she said. Yeah that's right I need you to take this asshole away she added but before she could continue the Venom symbiote showed more of itself.
Write the goddamn name!! Peter shouted as he gave in the symbiote's influence and lost control over his emotions.
Shocked by the hideous appearance the booker backed off on her chair and almost fell on her back.
Peter who had lost control of the costume and the symbiote used his symbiotic ability to save the booker from getting hurt. He then slowly reached the booker's hand and took her phone out of her hand. The booker was too much panic struck to react. Peter cut the call. The symbiote then took control of the booker's hand and made he write down the name.
The booker had no consciousness while being controlled by the symbiote. The Venom symbiote then let go of her hand back into Peter's body. Peter made a look on his face as he put the phone down on the table before making his way to the que. The booker snapped out of her Panicked state and felt strange. She scratched her head and tried to think but she could not remember what was going on a few moments ago.
At the Wrestling ring Bonesaw got done without finishing off his opponent. Is there anyone who can last for 3 minutes the commentator asked. And now for our next competitor who will fight is the commentator said. What is your name kid he added as he asked peter.
In the main spiderman timeline Peter named himself the human spider. But due to the Venom symbiote's influence he named himself something else.
The evil spider Peter responded. The words were his own but his voice wasn't. it was the symbiote talking as it gained more and more control as its influence grew stronger.
The evil spider huh! the commentator said admiring Peter's choice. Oh that would be great he added. Peter entered the wrestling ring. The moment Peter entered the wrestling ring got closed off and surrounded by metal bars forming a cage.
Bonesaw charged towards Peter as the match began. Peter back flipped and avoided the attack causing Bonesaw to hit his own head on the bars. Over here! Peter said. behind you he added. Bonesaw came charging at Peter before packing a punch straight to the face. Peter got out of the way and avoided the attack with ease.
In the main spiderman timeline peter was getting beaten up by bonesaw at first,but in this timeline he was dodging and avoiding the attacks with ease.
Bonesaw sent a kick to Peter's face Peter bent down and got behind him before shooting webs on his other leg. confused by the web attack bonesaw failed to understand the meaning of what was happening. Bonesaw fell on his back. Bonesaw got up but and got kicked from behind. Peter shot his webs and this time he aimed the ceiling. bonesaw regained his focus and saw his oppenent above. Thats a cute outfit, Peter said. Did your husband give it to you? he added the question as he taunted him. Get down here Bonesaw said getting pissed off.
Peter shot his webs on bonesaw's eyes. Bonesaw ripped off the sticky webbing but Peter was gone. bonesaw felt the webbing on his back being shot. Take this from behind peter said causing bonesaw to turn back. But before bonesaw could react Peter delivered a devastating punch. Bonesaw felt pain as one of his teeth fell down.
No wonder you have bad breath Peter commented again. Bonesaw took a heavy metal chair and hit peter with it but Peter dodged the attack and kicked his opponent in the leg.
Bonesaw lost his balance. Peter shot his webs and snatched the chair and dropped it. Bonesaw came charging again to attack. At that moment time felt like it had slowed as Peter used his webs to dodge the attack and he used his other hand to shoot webs on the chair Grabbing it. Peter landed on his feet and hit Bonesaw knocking him to the bars. Peter broke the chair effortlessly. He then picked up bonesaw and slamed him the wrestling ring floor knocking out his opponent out.
1,2 and 3 the Referee counted before taking Peter's hand and raising his hand up declaring him the ultimate winner. Meet Our new champion The Evil Spider!!! the commentator announced with true amazement. Peter formed a smile in satisfaction as he had won.
Scene break:
Location: The promoter's desk:
Peter waited for his price for winning. The promoter gave a thousand bucks. Now get out of here the promoter said.
A thousand bucks? Peter asked in confusion. The add said 30.000
Well check again evil head the promoter responded. It said 3 minutes but you fought for 2 minutes so you are lucky to get that much, no get out he added.
I need that money Peter requested getting desperate.
I missed the part where that's my problem the promoter said in an impolite voice.
Peter walked away pissed off by the setback. As Peter was walking away A random guy came in. He showed up in front of the promoter and threw an empty bag into his face.
Eh .... What the hell? The promoter asked. Put the money in the bag the thief said.
The thief got the money and hit the promoter on the head before running away. Peter saw the thief getting away.
In the original timeline Peter helped the guy in getting away however since the multiverse is a concept of multiple realities with different possibilities there was no place for exceptions in this case either. Therefore in this timeline Peter decided to stop the thief. Peter got in the way to stop the thief. That thing does not belong to you Peter said in a serious voice.
What the hell? the thief asked. Get of my way kid, you dont want parents worrying about you, do you? he added as he asked.
Just put the bag of money on the ground Peter ordered.
Get out of the way punk the thief said in anger.
What you are doing is wrong Peter responded. You can still avoid the consequences He added.
Then die! the thief responded before shooting Peter multiple times in his kidney, stomach and chest causing severe wound and minor bleeding. Peter didn't feel as much pain as he thought.
What the? The thief asked himself as the bullets came out. The Venom symbiote healed Peter's wounds. Alright my turn Peter said in a deeper voice. At that moment the Venom symbiote's influenced Peter's action. The thief looked up only to get punched as Peter delivered a devastating punch to the facer cracking the thief's nose slightly as blood came out.
Peter saw a police officer coming. He quickly grabbed the thief's hand as he got the chance forcefully dragging the criminal along and pushing him to the officer's feet.
Thank you for coming Peter said in a appreciative voice. He's all yours he added. Thank you, the officer said in response before taking the criminal into custody and leaving.
Peter then turned to the bag of money the thief had left behind. Take the money you deserve it a voice said in Peter's mind. You stopped the bad guy now go claim your reward the voice added. Peter picked up the bag. He was thrilled to see the amount in the bag. Peter knew that this could have been the turning point in his status. However Peter chose not to be greedy and rather he chose to be Honest. The promoter showed up. Here Peter said as he offered the bag to the promoter. That thief is gone, the police officer took care of the scumbag He added.
The promoter was surprised by Peter's honesty and felt bad for insulting Peter and denying him his price earlier. He knew that Peter deserved the price money in full amount and that his act of selflessness and hotesty reinforce his worthiness for the price money.
You know kid? the promoter asked. I was wrong about you he added. You deserve this money more than I do the promoter said as he handed it over to peter. Peter was pleased with the promoter's appreciation and understanding so he accepted it.
Peter made his way out of the building onto the street. Uncle ben saw Peter coming from the distance. Peter made his way to Uncle Ben. Let's go home Uncle Ben Peter said. What is in the bag Uncle Ben asked. Oh this? Peter responded. I actually participated in a wrestling match and won this money as a price. Uncle Ben shocked by what he heard as Peter's response.
I know I lied about going to the library and I am sorry, but I thought you won't approve Peter said as he apologized. Peter I would have given you the money if you would have asked me Uncle Ben responded. You don't have to indulge in such violent and dangerous games he added.
Yes, you are right, but I did not get hurt and I won. I did not misuse power of anything Peter responded. But you sure as hell used your power to your advantage didn't you ? Uncle Ben asked.
Sorry Peter apologized. I... I just... I just wanted the money for buying a new car so that mary jane wou... would like me Peter added as he stammered.
Peter Uncle Ben said in a polite voice as he started explaining to Peter. I know you needed money but you can Put your power to a better use you know Uncle Ben responded. Look I forgive you, I am not mad at you and I know you are trying to make me feel proud but listen to He added in a polite voice. I would be proud if you help other people with whatever power and opportunity you get Peter Uncle Ben said hoping that it would help. I understood Uncle Peter Responded as he realized his mistake. I promise not to lie again he added.
Good Uncle Ben responded. Besides, power can be usefull but also best if used in the interest of the greater good because with Great Power comes great responsibility He added.
Ok Uncle Ben Peter responded in agreement. Lets go home now He added.
Yeah Uncle Ben responded.
In the original spiderman timeline Peter was too late to return which resulted in Uncle Ben getting shot resulting in his death however in this timeline/universe he survived and ultimately escaped his fate of dying an untimely and tragic death. It meant that his survival wont only open up the way to other possibilities but also the fact that Uncle Ben could be there to support and guide Peter into becoming the hero he was meant to be.
Penter and Uncle Ben got in the car but before they could drive their way home a tall bulky looking man showed up. He was wearing a brown pant and light green t shirt with dark green stripes. The man had good muscles and looked strong. But he had a look of concern on his face. It was as if he was worried. The man requested Uncle Ben to allow him to borrow the car.
Please give me the car the man begged. Who the hell are you Peter asked as he prepared for self defense. I am Flint Marco the man responded. My daughter needs me he added. What happened Uncle Ben? asked. My daughter has a rare disease Flint responded. She is in the hospital and she needs treatment he added.
Peter who was first taking a defensive position decided to help. You can take the car Uncle ben Responded in understanding. Flint felt happy and fortunate that he did not need to put up a fight or anything violent. Thank you, Flint said in appreciation as he accepted the car keys and got in. Thank you he repeated. Here have this Peter said as he gave Flint the 30.000 dollars he had won. This should cover up the medical expenses Peter added. Also don't worry about paying it back think of it as a help Peter added again. Thanks a lot Flint Responded before driving away leaving Peter and Uncle Ben behind.
Peter Uncle Ben said. I am proud of you for helping that man he added.
Glad to know that Peter responded. The expensive car wait and I promise to use my power to help other like I did now he added.
Good Uncle Ben responded as both of them walked their way home. At home Peter told aunt may everything that happened. Aunt may was worried but she did not get mad as she was proud of Peter as he had been honest and helped another person.
Later on the 3 of them had dinner. After earing Peter went to his room as he was having mind loaded with thoughts. He entered his room and sat down on his chair. I hope that guy Flint Marco finds it helpfull that I gave him the money Peter thought to himself. A Smile formed on his face as he knew that he had done a good thing. That's right I helped him He thought to himself.
Maybe you should have kept the money to yourself the voice said in his mind again. Peter looked around as he was surprised. Who the hell are you and were are you? Peter asked. I am your internal darkness the voice said. It was the Venom symbiote speaking as it tried to corrupt peter.
What do you mean by internal darkness Peter asked.
Nothing the Venom symbiote responded. I am the one who is granting you the power you have, I expect nothing but gratefulness from you he added.
Well, thank you Peter responded as he realised that his ability to manifest his costume or any other clothing came from an external source, possibly a living organism that is sentient he thought to himself. Alright time for bed he added.
I would also appreciate if you tell me more about yourself tomorrow he added before shutting off the lights and going to bed. Peter fell asleep peacefully.
Looks like this host is ideal the symbiote said in a voice that peter cannot hear. He should be good enought so I can settle on this planet forever he added.
The symbiote had his plans limited to settling on earth and Peter seemed to be quite ideal as a host. Sleep peacefully Peter the symbiote said. Soon your body will nothing but a vessel for me he added as he tried to foreshadow his future plans.
With Peter being ignorant of the Venom symbiotes attempts to corrupt him the Symbiote is the one in control and advantage. Will Peter find out the true motives of his new alien friend or be consumed into darkness as he losses himself to the dark side? Find out in the next chapter.
