Location: Oscorp lab.
Dr. Osborn, please. The performance enhancers aren't ready the assistant said as he tried to warn Norman Osborn about the consequences of using the serum with the side effects unchecked.
The drug is completed and therefore we have to test it Norman responded as he began to undress and consume it. We have full data of how the serum works, therefore the test cannot wait any longer he added.
The data just doesn't justify this test the assistant said in warning. Now, I'm asking you for the last time. We can't do this he added.
Don't be a coward Norman responded. Risks are part of laboratory science he added.
Let me reschedule, with a medical staff and a volunteer the assistant persisted. Just give me two weeks he added as he knew that the risk was not worth it and that life is more precious than the power Oscorp company needed at that moment
Two weeks? Norman asked in a hurrying voice. We'll have lost the contract to Quest and OSCORP will be dead Norman added.
Sometimes you gotta do things yourself Norman said.
Get me the Promachloraperazine Norman added.
For what? the assistant asked
It begins catalyzation when the vapor hits the bloodstream Norman responded.
The assistant did as Norman said.
40,000 years of evolution Norman said.
And we've barely tapped the vastness of human potential he added before consuming what he had asked for. The assistant followed the remaining process and turned on the machine required for the testing.
Oh, that's cold Norman said as he felt cold.
Norman entered the machine and began to get exposed to the green steam. As the process went on Norman began to feel unstable as he failed to control his emotions as he felt changes in his body at an extreme level. A level too far and dificult for human brain to comprehend. Norman got strange visions of someone. A alternate personality manifesting within his mind. I one such vision the personality talked in a loud voice making Norman feel consumed and scared.
Norman began to scream in pain causing his assistant to panic.
In the original timeline the assistant stopped the testing and tried to help Norman but the green goblin persona took over and killed the assistant. However in this timeline the assistant was more panicked than what he had in the original timeline and chose to run away therefore surviving the storyline.
The machine got completely used of. The test was successful as Norman opened his eyes. He got up as the surprise element hit him hard. He felt younger, more energetic and stronger. He felt more and more alert than any average human being. With this new power Norman could finally see his confidence reaching it's peak.
Norman stepped out of the lab to find his assistant. He was all drenched in sweat due to panic. Norman felt worried about his assistant. He took a step forward. you ok? He asked.
Please don't kill me the assistant begged as he yelled in panic. Hey hey! Norman said in a loud voice. Its me he added.
Osborn? the assistant asked.
Yes, it is me Norman responded. Who else could it be in my body..... Norman added but before he could continue, he felt a throbbing pain as a headache manifested in his forehead.
Doctor Osborn you ok? the assistant asked. Please sir, say something! He added.
The headache came to an abrupt end. Norman calmed down suddenly and seemed to be in a trance. He did not look normal, let alone being ok. Hey sir, C'mon Doctor Osborn snap out of it the assistant begged. Norman's eyes snapped open. Oh, thank God you are ok sir the assistant said as relief consumed him.
Do you need some water? he asked in an offering voice.
No, I am fine Norman responded.
You sure? the assistant asked as he felt the need.
Yeah, I am sure Norman responded. I think I have got some unfinished work, so I've got to go now he added.
Norman made his way home leaving his assistant behind. the assistant was silent from the outside as he was quite. But from the inside he was screaming as thoughts rushed to his mind. He was worried of what would happen and what impact the side effects could leave on the user's mental state.
The assistant couldn't help but wonder, what the hell have I done? He thought to himself.
Scene Break:
Location: QUEST Company proving ground Bunker:
Time: 7pm.
Good evening General Slocum the scientist from QUEST Company said as he greeted the military general who had favored the QUEST Company since the beginning.
Good evening the general responded. Is it ready he asked as he added.
Our exoskeleton's got real firepower, general the scientist responded with confidence as he got ready to present the invention.
Well, if it does what you say it can, I'll sign that contract tomorrow the general said.
He's clear! the scientist then said to someone who was testing the exoskeleton. Go! he added and approved.
You're confident about this test? the other person asked.
Absolutely the scientist responded. Curtis is our top pilot he added.
Now, what about your commitment to OSCORP? the scientist asked
Nothing would please me more than to put Osborn out of business the General responded in a clear voice as his intentions were clearly reflected in his eyes.
An unidentified object is closing fast the other person said.
Oh my god! the testing pilot screamed in horror as the object revealed it's identity. It was a masked man wearing a green costume. The masked man stood on a glider. The man wore a mask with yellow eyes and held a pumpkin bomb explosive in his hand. It was none other than green goblin.
sayonara QUEST the goblin said in his menacing voice as he threw the pumpkin bomb towards the pilot. The pilot screamed in horror but got consumed by the explosion. The exoskeleton got damaged. Without caring about the contract the other staff began to leave. They were running for their lives as a natural response.
This wasn't the Just the end of the exoskeleton weapon, but also the QUEST company's as well. The green goblin displayed his atrocity along with his maniac laughter as he threw away his pumpkin bombs to kill them all. Those who were caught in the explosion died. Their bodies were consumed by fire and reduced to mere skeletons.
knowing that the damage was enough the green goblin flew away on his glider disappearing in the darkness of the evening.
Damn! the Scientist said. That asshole he will be finished he added.
Don't bother General Slocum said. It is already over He added.
What do you mean sir the scientist asked.
The deal general Slocum responded. you have proven yourself unreliable therefore the contract is over he added.
What?! the scientist said in disbelief. C'mon sir give us some time he added and begged.
I am sorry but the military requires manpower not delay and useless contracts the General said. I am reverting the contract back to Oscorp as their serum has hope while your exoskeleton is totally destroyed, he added as he left leaving the scientist disappointed and enraged.
Scene break:
location: Midtown High School.
time: 3pm Date: 2002.
Everyone was happy and joyful during the graduation ceremony. A big crowd had gathered, consisting of parents and other family members. Peter stood as he was getting graduated. He was genuinely happy, not because he had won the science award but because he had the people who he wanted to be proud of him present there for the occasion.
In the original timeline Peter was sad due to his Uncle's death that had caused him trauma but also a significant level of understanding of his powers and responsibilities that came with them as Uncle Ben has rightly said. However, in this timeline Uncle Ben was physically present among others as he had survived that added to Peter's happiness and fulfillment.
The graduation ceremony was going on smoothly. Hey Pete Harry said. Congratulations man good job with the success he added. Oh Thanks Harry Peter responded. Don't forget that you worked hard your way too, really well done he added.
Right Harry said in response. Norman Osborn arrived to congratulate Harry. He stepped out of his car and walked his way to his son. It was a perfect day to be alive during. Nothing could or take away such happiness the day had brought on everyone.
Norman walked towards Harry and said well done son. Thanks dad Harry responded. Norman looked at peter as he noticed him. Oh, Peter Norman said. Well done with the science award you have won brilliant he added with a positive smile on his face.
Thanks sir Peter responded. Well done for the efforts you have put Norman said. And don't ever hesitate from asking for help, I mean you're like Harry's brother that makes you family he added.
Of course, sir thank you Peter responded. Peter saw something in the distance that instantly caught his attention. It was Mary Jane and Flash.
I hate you too Flash responded to MJ in an angry voice as he broke up with her. In that case keep this ring to yourself, don't want relationship with you anymore Mary Jane responded.
Yeah screw you Flash yelled as he walked away with anger.
Now is your Chance to make her yours peter the Venom symbiote said.
Yeah sure I agree Peter responded to the symbiote.
Peter had already had his introduction with the symbiote that morning.
Flashback:
Alright so what are you exactly Peter asked Venom.
I am an alien. I came here from the far away planet Klyntar Venom responded. There are others of my kind out there. We're known as symbiotes which is the name of our race he added.
Okay... Peter said as he grasped the understanding of his New friends origin. So why do you bond with other organisms? Peter asked.
Good question Venom responded. You see we symbiotes are basically alien parasites, in other words we are parasites just like the ones found on this planet but he have better powers he added.
oh! What kind of powers Peter asked.
Powers such as ideatick memory, ability to tranfer our powers to our hosts, super human strength, durability, stamina and reflexes along with incredible generative healing factor and the ability to resurrect the dead which allows us to bring the dead back to life but consequently it creates a substance called codex that can be used to track us down across the universe.
The ability to bring the dead back to life?!!! Peter asked in amazement.
Holy shit!! You are really interesting he added.
That is right I am truly interesting the Venom symbiote responded. Venom was hiding behind the good intentions of helping Peter but his plan to take advantage was clear in his heart, mind and soul. Venom had disclosed all his abilities except for 2 more.
The Fact that he can corrupt his host and his connection to the hive mind.
End of flashback:
This is your go get'em call Peter go for it the symbiote encouraged.
Peter walked towards MJ.
Hey there MJ Peter said as he greeted her.
Oh hey Pete She responded. I heard you got the Science award with graduation, congrats that is so nice She added. The conversation was going on and both looked at each other as their hearts connected in love.
Hey I don't mean to interfere but I kind of saw you break up with flash and heard you conversation so sorry Peter said.
Oh thats ok Pete MJ responded, I don't mind at all I know that you are better than him She added.
Oh you really think so? Peter asked.
Yeah, MJ responded. I mean you don't bully people, always help others and you are just so good at being yourself so of course, you are better she added.
Thanks MJ Peter responded. You know you are the source of inspiration that drives me to put my best efforts you know he added.
It is truly great to have friends like you and Harry, it just makes it complete you know for real Peter said.

Norman stepped into his house. He was worried about the contract part. Norman knew that he had to do something. Otherwise, his business and Oscorp company would be as good as dead. He noticed something kept on the table in the living room. Norman picked it up. It was the latest newspaper of the day. The new in the paper was a good news. It said, QUEST Company denied of its contract with the American Military.
Norman's eyes began to shine with joy as he realised that the opportunity was within his grasp. He was also relieved of the fact that there was no more risk of the company getting sold. Norman was about to explode out of happiness, but the rest of the news was difficult to comprehend and impossible to believe.
It said the QUEST Company bunker destroyed by an unknown individual armed with weapons and technology manufactured by Oscorp Company. An attack to destroy the rival company QUEST? was the question in the news article.
Dad, everything ok? Harry asked who had come back after changing into his home clothes. Uh yeah Norman Responded as he put down the newspaper.
Everything is fine Harry I Just remembered some work I have to finish Norman added. Ok cool Harry responded leaving his dad alone.
Norman was confused and somewhat scared. Who on earth can ever do such things with his tech? Norman wondered as he suddenly heard scary laughter in his mind.
Norman looked around confused and worried. He knew that something was off, but What exactly he wondered. Just then he realised something. Norman hurried his way to the lab where he tested the drug. He knew he could find some answers there.
Scene Break:
Location: Peter's home:
I've got to tell you that I have never been this much proud of you before Peter. You did a truly wonderful job son Uncle Ben said as he expressed his happiness and satisfaction for both Peter's growth and his responsible actions that had let up the person Peter had become.
I am a little tired Peter said. See you and aunt May at dinner time Uncle Ben Peter said.
Ok son just take care do your best as you always do Uncle ben responded proudly as he saw his now grown up and mature nephew going to his room.
Sure will Uncle Ben Peter responded and entered his room. Peter locked the door shut and closed the windows.
Got anything to do? Venom asked. Yes Peter responded.
Let us make a deal Venom Peter said.
A deal the Venom symbiote responded. Sounds interesting he added as curiosity consumed him. It is simple Peter began.
You allow me to use your symbiotic powers and abilities so I could be a hero to help others and save lives Peter said. In return I will give you food, shelter and I will allow you to stay bonded with me forever Peter added and offered.
A deal huh? the symbiote asked. Well sounds interesting he added.
Deal then? Peter asked.
Deal Venom responded with the blink of an eye.
Cool Peter responded. Starting from now on I shall be known as spiderman he added. In that case I will provide you spider like powers and abilities that I can manifest Venom responded. Awesome Peter responded.
Peter looked at the sky. From now on I shall be spiderman her said in his mind. The promise I made to you Uncle Ben shall begin to be fulfilled from now on he added.
Anyways Venom we shall discuss the costume tomorrow Peter said.
Got it boss Venom responded.
Peter had dinner that night. He ate more than usual as he would have to in order to meet the nutritional need of his own as well as the symbiote's
Peter also went to bed.
The vessel is smart but too quick to trust me the symbiote thought to himself. Soon it will be a matter of time until I fully earn his trust and live an easy life. No need to 2worry about food and water. And I'll even get to beat up the bad guys. But my real plan is the most interesting one that will soon unfold.
With Peter fully embracing his powers and the responsibility that comes with them as Uncle Ben had taught him the Story shall have lots of twists and turns. But what are the symbiote's plans. What is Venom's agenda? Find out in the next chapter.
