Seeing the helicopter carrying Betty get hit, Hulk immediately charged forward.
However, someone faster than him was Mo. A flash of purple light instantly enveloped the entire helicopter, freezing it mid-air just as it was about to spiral out of control.
Unexpectedly, while Mo was focused on stabilizing the helicopter, Abomination spotted him on the rooftop.
"Found you, bug!"
Abomination grinned viciously and, in the next instant, stomped hard on the asphalt road, creating a deep crater with a loud bang, launching himself like a cannonball straight toward Mo.
"Crap!"
Mo hadn't expected to be discovered. His Stand, Steve, was too far from him at the moment — it was already too late to summon it back.
Just as Mo was about to abandon the helicopter and teleport away using Ender abilities, a deafening roar rang out nearby. A massive green figure smashed into Abomination mid-air, sending him flying.
Of course, it was Hulk who had charged in.
Although Hulk had been summoned to deal with Abomination, Bruce Banner and Hulk's thoughts weren't completely aligned — Banner saw Abomination as the enemy, but Hulk didn't know who Abomination was. To Hulk, it was the military that had been hunting him down and making him angry.
Frankly, Hulk was more interested in flipping tanks than fighting Abomination.
However, seeing Abomination attack the helicopter (and by extension, Betty), truly enraged Hulk.
Hulk, like a child, was very fond of Betty. Seeing someone dare to hurt her shattered whatever thin patience he had. His rage completely overtook him; it wasn't an exaggeration to say he was in a berserker state. Even the gamma suppressant drugs in his system couldn't hold him back anymore.
"RAAAHHHH!!!"
At that moment, Hulk was consumed by fury. Green light surged from his body, his muscles swelling, and his height increasing rapidly.
Roaring wildly, Hulk charged at Abomination. He threw a series of brutal punches that forced Abomination to retreat step-by-step. But Hulk wasn't finished yet. He then unleashed an uppercut that sent Abomination flying into the air. Hulk leapt up after him, clenched his fists together, and smashed Abomination down to the ground with tremendous force.
After receiving Hulk's devastating combo, even Abomination could only lie on the ground groaning in pain.
His jawbone was nearly shattered, his whole body racked with agony, his mind in chaos. He struggled but couldn't even stand up.
"ROAR!!!"
While Abomination lay defeated, Hulk's aura was at its peak. He roared again, stepping towards Abomination as if preparing to smash him into a pulp.
But just then, a voice called out.
"Hey, Hulk."
Hearing the voice, Hulk turned around, furious, ready to roar — only to see Mo standing a short distance away, holding a pale-faced Betty.
"This girl was terrified just now," Mo said, "She's still scared. Could you come and comfort her?"
"...?"
Seeing this, Hulk was momentarily stunned.
"She seems to trust you the most."
Having read the original story, Mo knew Hulk had his own thoughts, although they were more like those of an innocent child. So he continued, "I helped rescue her. She wasn't hurt, but she's very frightened. She keeps crying out for Big Guy Hulk to protect her."
"Hulk..."
Hearing this, Hulk visibly trembled. He looked completely at a loss. From the moment of his creation, he had only known rage — this was the first time he encountered such a situation: Betty actually wanted him to protect her?
For some reason, Hulk felt the flames of rage within him begin to subside, replaced by an unfamiliar emotion.
Was it... concern? He didn't know.
"Here, catch."
Seeing Hulk's hesitation, Mo approached and gently handed Betty over.
Hulk carefully extended his hands, cradling Betty as if she were a fragile treasure. He awkwardly tried to comfort her, looking completely out of place — this terrifying giant behaving like a clumsy child.
"You take her somewhere safe," Mo said, patting Hulk's arm and flashing him a reassuring smile. "I'll handle this monster here. Trust me, I'll smash him real good for you, alright?"
Meanwhile, hidden in the shadows, Steve pulled out an iron sword and viciously stabbed Abomination in his remaining good eye.
"ARGHH!!!"
The searing pain made Abomination howl and thrash violently.
"HULK!"
Seeing Abomination's agony seemed to satisfy Hulk greatly. He grinned mischievously at Mo like a naughty child and gave a nod of approval.
The handoff went smoothly. Hulk quickly carried Betty away to safety.
Now the stage was left entirely to Mo.
Blinded, Abomination had lost all threat. Mo didn't even bother using his Ender Hand abilities anymore — he simply commanded Steve to nick and slash Abomination bit by bit, slowly draining his stamina.
"Fight me head-on, you coward!"
Abomination swung wildly in rage, but Steve would land a strike and immediately retreat, giving him no chance for counterattacks.
Soon, Abomination's body was covered in countless shallow wounds.
Although the wounds weren't deep, there were just too many of them. Abomination became a sticky, bloody mess. As the saying goes, even ants can kill an elephant given enough bites. Without Hulk's rage-powered resilience, Abomination was now a bleeding wreck, clearly at his limit.
"You damn... bug..."
Abomination weakly struggled, his voice filled with unwillingness. "If it weren't for Hulk... you wouldn't stand a chance against me..."
"Oh, really?"
Mo sneered coldly.
The next moment, with a slicing sound, Abomination felt a stabbing pain in his back. A gleaming blade pierced through his chest.
"Wha...?"
His body stiffened, an expression of disbelief frozen on his face.
But before he could react, the blade shattered — and a gust of wind whooshed down from above. Instinctively, he tried to dodge, but with his heart pierced, his strength was rapidly draining away — he couldn't move at all.
"EAT MY STEAMROLLER!!!"
With Mo's shout, a giant steamroller came crashing down from above.
Abomination struggled to raise a hand to block, but Mo's hands glowed with purple light as he hammered punch after punch into the steamroller, channeling the Ender Hand's matter-distortion field into it, massively boosting its kinetic energy.
With a deafening boom, the steamroller smashed straight into the ground, burying itself deep.
The asphalt cracked like liquid waves, spiderweb-like fissures radiating outward. Entire blocks shook violently from the impact.

"Just as I thought."
Hearing the notification, Mo finally smiled happily.
This was a very lightweight mod — it only added a few new monsters into the game, like the Mutated Zombie King, Mutated Enderman King, and Mutated Creeper King. Killing them dropped special items.
The Ender Hand Mo was currently using was a drop from defeating the Mutated Enderman King.
Honestly, Mo hadn't expected the Ender Hand to become so powerful once manifested in reality — not only had it lost its durability limit, but its strength was off the charts. He could even grab helicopters with it!
After all, the Ender Hand was now a tangible force field — and force fields could be stacked. If stacking really worked, Mo figured that once he got home, he should kill a few more Mutated Enderman Kings and power himself up even more.
While Mo was feeling pleased, Nick Fury was developing a serious headache.
Officially, this operation was supposed to be under government jurisdiction, not S.H.I.E.L.D.'s. Mo's unauthorized actions — and the massive destruction he caused — would definitely trigger an investigation.
Especially considering Mo's final steamroller smash nearly collapsed a subway station — rebuilding would cost who knows how much.
If the expenses were deducted from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s budget, Nick Fury was going to lose his mind.
"Couldn't you have used a quieter spell?"
When Nick Fury finally found Mo, he immediately complained, "Do you realize how much damage you and Hulk caused?"
"Then why don't you do it yourself?"
Mo shrugged. "Or are you willing to bust out your energy weapons? Maybe even roll out the Helicarrier?"
"Is there anything you don't know?"
Nick Fury facepalmed helplessly. At this point, he was close to giving up. "The Helicarrier is still in its testing phase — it's not ready for deployment yet..."
But before Fury could finish, more trouble arrived.
A military armored vehicle drove up and parked in front of them. General Ross, supported by two soldiers, limped out of the vehicle, his face dark as a storm.
"I really appreciate your 'support,' Fury," Ross said sarcastically, eyeing Mo warily before turning back to Fury. "But don't you think you owe me an explanation? What the hell happened on your side?"
