Ainz's raised palm falls onto one of Enri Emmot's shoulders after a moment. "Don't worry, you're here now," Ainz comforts Enri with warm words.
"I'm here because I went out to look for Sir Hiyama. The people at the base can't rest easy if he's away for too long," she finally says, which piques Ainz's curiosity.
"My lord," Albedo approaches Ainz. Although her expression is not visible due to his mask, the feelings in her words are still palpable.
"We could attack Hiyama's base, that territory of the Undead, and then kill him," this thought crosses Ainz's mind, and he licks his lips at the thought, even though he has no lips.
"But," Ainz thinks, he doesn't dare, he doesn't want to attack unless he knows the other's strength well. After all, What if Hiyama has an ace up his sleeve and turns out to be someone powerful?
In fact, Ainz Ooal Gown had read several novels with this type of plot when he was Susuki Satoru. In the novels he read, there were powerful beings who walked through life pretending to be vagabonds.
Even so, Ainz Ooal Gown's mind is quickly taken over by resentment, and he can't help but narrow his eyes.
"Hiyama, Hiyama, Daisuke Hiyama," he muttered before looking at Enri Emmot.
The girl felt a slight sense of danger rising up her spine, exhaled some air, and raised her head, her eyes meeting the helmet of the imposing man who claimed to be her savior.
How had she been freed from Hiyama's control? Enri didn't want to know the answer; so, she simply looked at Ainz Ooal Gown with gratitude.
Although the feelings of losing her family have not affected her until this moment, Enri still feels gratitude and a slight growing affection for the man who calls himself Momon.
She closed her eyes slightly, breathing with some difficulty, the image of her little sister turned into Hiyama's lackey hitting her mind like a speeding truck, her body began to emanate traces of anger as she clenched the sheet.
"Lord Momon..." she murmured, looking seriously at the man not far from her.
"I want you to tell me where Hiyama's undead territory is," Ainz demands, ignoring Enri's previous words. His words quickly cause her to open her eyes, various emotions mixing within her.
"Sir Hiyama?" Enri Emmot narrows her eyes. After all, if she reveals the location of Hiyama's territory, then the man in front of her will most likely attack, but, Can the man in front of her defeat Hiyama?
"Hehehe, by the way, you don't have to worry, since I'm here, I will naturally help you," Ainz says as he places a hand on Enri's head, his actions quickly causing the girl to blush slightly as she closes her eyes.
She looks at Ainz's almost divine armor and then smiles slightly, "I understand," she says before getting out of bed.
Meanwhile, on a mountain not far away.
Miledi Reisen calmly observes a man in front of her, her blue eyes shining with a clear tone.
"Name?" she narrows her eyes, then her gaze focuses on the four girls accompanying the man.
"I, hehehe, am Hajime Nagumo," the white-haired man introduces himself, smiling slightly and calmly observing Miledi.
There was a slight moment of silence, the pragmatic Miledi blinked, her body almost instinctively activating her combat state, while her face showed distrust.
For Miledi, the man in front of her, who appears to be no more than twenty years old, is someone who has plundered the dungeon of her old friend, Oscar Orcus. Unlike her mindset before receiving the item from Matt, she no longer considers the god of her old world to be her main target and enemy to defeat.
Instead, her thoughts are more focused on preserving Matt's safety. "Why did you come to Re-estize?" Miledi asks, hugging Antonidas' book with her right arm.
"Actually, I came out of curiosity," Hajime replies sincerely, moving his right hand toward his pocket, narrowing his eyes, his fingertips gently caressing the Shclang in its sheath, ready to act at any moment.
"..."
"What happened to the Orcus labyrinth?" Miledi finally asks, her heart twinging slightly as she brings up the subject. For a moment, the figure of Oscar Orcus flashes through her mind, then fades away, leaving a trace of nostalgia behind.
Hajime's face seemed to freeze for a moment, his eyes focused on Miledi's. "Hmph," he let out a strange sound from his mouth before licking his lips.
"I conquered the Orcus labyrinth a while ago," Hajime finally says, his words immediately causing Miledi to sigh with some resignation.
"I knew it," she murmurs, relaxing a little, "I just wanted to confirm it," Miledi smiles, "You know, I've been thinking for a while about God, it's... a long story, Would you like to have some coffee?" Miledi invites Hajime.
Yue, not far away, narrows her eyes as Shea steps forward, and Myuu hugs her "father" tighter. "You want to steal Nagumo from us?!" Shea says and smiles with slight malice, Tio, not far away, smiles slightly, her eyes shining with strangeness as she watches Miledi.
Miledi's bewildered expression shows her surprise for a moment, then she smiles coquettishly before taking a few steps forward, "Eh? Are you afraid that a more beautiful girl will take your man away from you?" Miledi shows her white teeth as she makes a cute expression.
"Hmph," Hajima dodges Miledi before starting to walk toward the interior of Re-estize. "I don't have time for games. For now, I've come to see the kingdom," Hajima says, and Yue, Tio and Shea quickly hurry to walk behind him.
Miledi stands still for a moment, apparently thinking about Hajime's intentions, her face showing various expressions until she finally sighs, "I guess it's not important for now," Miledi whispers.
She had marked Hajime with a tracking spell, so if he tried to approach Matt's shop, she would be alerted.
Previously, she might have even felt grateful to Hajime for conquering the Orcus labyrinth, but now it's different. She can't feel the existence of God, and her mind has been influenced by Antonidas' book, generating in her absolute loyalty to Matt.
For his part, Hajime doesn't think much of Miledi, for him, this girl is just a crazy girl who interrupted his visit to Re-estize, besides, he didn't even know her.
On a mountain far from the capital of Re-estize, in his Undead territory, Hijama rests on a dark altar.
His closed eyes show his concentration as Kel'thuzad guides the magic into Hiyama's body.
This is, of course, Kel'thuzad strengthening Hiyama's Undead magic through a spell he learned from Arthas. In addition to that, the spell Kel'thuzad uses while resting in Hiyama's consciousness also has another purpose, to summon an Undead Champion as a slave.
Around Hijama are several structures, from a dark, black chapel to a giant, seemingly abandoned dark-colored house that serves as a cemetery.
The most recent building Hijama has managed to construct is a giant platform surrounded by three orbiting mana cores, with the half-buried skeleton of a giant dragon at its center.
If you look closely, the orbiting cores of the platform, better known as the "Field of Bones," glow slightly from time to time, which means that it is operational and will soon be able to produce flying troops.
The Field of Bones itself produces powerful ice Wyrms over 30 feet tall. These ice Wyrms are actually giant flying skeletons, each capable of producing a powerful icy attack from their jaws.
While this is happening, other buildings in Hiyama's undead territory are also working. One of them, the House of Torture, capable of producing gigantic abominations composed of sewn-together bodies, glows brightly for a moment.
The next moment, not far from the House of Torture, a fifteen-foot-tall Abomination is produced. The creature's appearance is grotesque, with a body made of various sewn-together skins, a gigantic mouth full of sharp teeth, and red eyes that seem about to pop out. In its hands, this Abomination carries a giant sickle and axe.
The Abomination is a tank on the battlefield, capable of withstanding powerful spells and attacks from squads without any problem. However, due to its appearance, it looks like a kind of obese giant that exudes a putrid smell.
Another fifteen-foot-tall building with a giant skull on top and surrounded by bones also glows brightly, only for the glow to disappear a moment later.
In front of that building, better known as the Temple of the Damned, appears a Necromancer, a decrepit old man with a face as white as milk and a white beard that falls to his knees, covered in a red and blue robe, wearing a helmet with two long horns pointing backward and carrying a staff that glows at the top.
The Necromancer, despite his old and fragile appearance, is a human transformed by the undead energy of the Temple of the Damned. Unlike a normal human, a Necromancer has an almost infinite life expectancy as long as he has mana reserves.
Unlike the Necromancer, the Abomination only has a life expectancy of a few years, so it must constantly devour human bodies to extend its life.
Not far from them, a ten-foot-tall creature resembling a cross between a spider and a scorpion emerges from the ground. The Crypt Fiend, which originally served Anub'arak, joined the Undead long ago and is now part of Hiyama's army.
Finally, after sitting at the Altar of Darkness for half a day, Hiyama finally opens his eyes, the entire altar glows brightly, and a moment later a Champion appears before the Altar.
