The champion summoned by Hiyama for the first time is the iconic DreadLord, a type of troop similar to our Nathrezim that serves under the Undead. The DreadLord is a demon with white skin, ten feet tall, and enormous purple wings.
"I have returned!!" DreadLord says before kneeling on one knee in front of Hiyama. Unlike Deathbringer, who is a troop that can only be summoned for a limited time, DreadLord is a champion with no time limit and can serve Hiyama until death.
Even after dying, as long as Hiyama sits at the Altar of Darkness and infuses his magic into the Altar, DreadLord can be revived.
"Hmph, well, I was wondering how much more of my magic I would have to spend," Hiyama smiles, grabs his staff, and begins to float slightly out of the Altar and onto the infested ground.
"My lord, there is..." DreadLord narrows his eyes, looking at his hands for a moment, "There is something different in the atmosphere... Isn't it, are we in Northrend?" DreadLord asks, directing his bright red eyes at Hiyama.
The wind blows a little strongly, Hiyama's robe flutters in the air for a moment, he raises a finger and shakes his head while smiling, "It's a new world, DreadLord, we're here thanks to Sir Matt, but for now we will simply establish a base," Hiyama smiles.
The skull on Hiyama's staff glows for a moment, Kel'thuzad in his mind seems restless, "It's about time, boy, you're too weak, it took you too long, the guys you saw in that village are here, they've been watching from a distance for a while," Kel'thuzad warns.
"Spying, huh?" Hiyama sighs, his face serious as he turns his head to look around. "I sense Enri Emmot's presence not far away. It seems she has been captured and revealed my location," he quickly concludes.
"This feeling... this kind of magic," Hiyama sighs, the image of Ainz Ooal Gown that day flashes through his mind, he attacked that woman in purple and black armor by surprise, if Hiyama had to say it, it was simply something that came to his mind, he wanted to do it, he wanted to strike, he wanted to see what would happen, but...
"Was it a bad idea to attack without thinking about the consequences at the time?"
Hiyama thinks, but then simply licks his lips before sighing with resignation, "At least it seems that the other party has no intention of attacking for the moment," he says to himself.
Hiyama moves his right hand, signaling DreadLord to follow him. The demon nods, and Hiyama sets off, not flying, but walking slowly toward a small mountain not far away.
"If I end up fighting him, do you think I can win?" Hiyama asks himself, and after a moment's hesitation, Kle'thuzad replies, "No, it's impossible."
Hiyama's footsteps stop for a moment. He looks at the small mountain not far from him and feels Enri Emmot's presence on that mountain. He pauses, then simply sighs before continuing on his way.
It's not that Hiyama isn't afraid of death. He has a plan in case everything goes wrong, which is to use an instant teleportation spell to Matt's shop.
But even so, Hiyama raises his right hand to scratch his chest nervously, purses his lips, and his steps slow down a little unconsciously.
"My Lord, is something wrong?" DreaLord behind him asks, but he is completely ignored by Hiyama, who continues walking.
....
"He's getting closer," Ainz Ooal Gown thinks, inside his black and purple armor, cautiously watching Hiyama not far away slowly approaching the top of the mountain.
If Ainz could choose at this moment, he would choose to retreat. After all, for someone as cautious as him, knowing the enemy's strength is key before a battle.
The two lights on Ainz Ooal Gown's skull glow with slight intensity, his mind filling with various scenarios, from one in which Hiyama turns out to be a powerful player, to one in which Hiyama has a world-class item.
The green light, characteristic of his undead race, bathes his skeletal body once, calming his emotions.
"Now that Albedo is here, I can't just run away," Ainz gives himself strength before taking a step forward, besides, as a man, How could he make a fool of myself in front of a beautiful woman?
"Lord Ainz..." Albedo, not far away, takes the initiative, taking a few quick steps and placing her body in front of her lord's. Her blushing expression cannot be seen thanks to her armor, but her voice still betrays her emotions.
"Let me take the initiative," she says decisively and firmly.
"Hmph," this time, Ainz does not refuse, making a slight noise with his mouth as he watches Albedo's back before turning his attention to Hiyama, "A man should know how to act strong in front of a woman," Ainz thinks while nodding his bony skull to himself.
A moment later, Hiyama emerges from among the trees, and as soon as his body is visible, Albedo does not hesitate to go on guard.
"There's no need to be nervous, I've come to talk," Hiyama raises a hand and says, his face showing a sly smile.
Albedo, inside her armor, simply narrowed her eyes, grimaced in disgust, and tightened her grip on her weapon. After all, although Hiyama's previous attack had not severely damaged her in their previous encounter, he had wounded her pride.
How dare that little human creature attack her? If it weren't for Ainz Ooal Gown's prior words, she would have already jumped in to attack Hiyama.
"What is your objective?" Ainz asks, taking the lead and observing Hiyama with two bright eyes.
"Hmph," Hiyama turns his gaze from Albedo to Ainz, his eyes glowing with a slight green hue before he simply sighs, moving his right hand to clear his throat before speaking.
"Actually, I serve a God on earth. I am building a small Undead territory to establish a base and better serve God," Hiyama's face exudes seriousness as he speaks with complete certainty, his words tinged with a unique tone.
"God?" Ainz Ooal Gown thinks with confusion, looking at Hiyama more closely before clicking his tongue, even though he has no tongue. "What is your God's name?" he asks, curious.
There is a brief moment of silence before Hiyama opens his mouth. "I cannot say his name, but he is the one who granted me the power I now possess," he says as he moves his staff slightly.
"So he's not a player?" Ainz thinks, however, this assumption makes him quickly sigh with resignation, "He may also be lying," Ainz believes this is a possibility.
"What if he's not lying and there is some kind of god who can grant power to people?" Ainz narrows his eyes, although he has no eyes, the flames inside his skull glow brightly, "It's possible..."
"Hahaha, A god? I'm afraid you're a human who has been deceived. Listen..." Before Albedo can finish speaking, Ainz stomps on the ground with some force, causing her to stop talking and just watch.
"Can I meet your god?" Ainz asks, but Hiyama shakes his head without hesitation. "Impossible. Besides, he's someone who doesn't like to be bothered," Hiyama lied.
Hiyama's slightly arrogant attitude and talk of a strange God caused Albedo to exude a powerful aura, the magic in her body boiling as she held her breath.
"Why won't Lord Ainz let me finish off this trash?" Thinking about that, Albedo couldn't help but grit her teeth.
"..." Ainz remained silent for a moment, weighing the pros and cons.
He could simply attack Hiyama with Albedo's help. If everything went well, he would capture Hiyama, interrogate him, and discover the truth. But What if this didn't work? What if Hiyama escaped? What if Hiyama warned that strange God?
Various possibilities arise in Ainz Ooal Gown's mind as paths to follow, and he, like a traveler, searches for the appropriate path to take.
Smiling slightly, Ainz can't help but miss Demiurges a little; that demon NPC was very intelligent.
"I understand," Ainz finally says, taking several steps forward, and once he was a little less than ten feet away from Hiyama, he spoke again, "But you severely injured my companion last time, you haven't apologized for that, that's... rude of you," Ainz lies.
After all, Hiyama's sudden attack that day in Carne Village did not severely injure Albedo. "Now, it's okay not to apologize, but, Don't you think you owe me something?" Ainz presses, his pleasant voice escaping from his armor's helmet with a slight echo.
Hiyama blinks a couple of times, looks at Ainz before making a gesture, as if to say, "Tell me what you want," upon seeing that gesture, the skeleton quickly begins to speak, "I want to know, Do you know Yggdrasil?"
Ainz had been thinking about it for a while. What if Hiyama was a Yggdrasil player? What if Hiyama had a world item?
Hiyama's previous words, those in which he mentioned a God, may be true, and that could naturally negate the idea that Hiyama is a Yggdrasil player, but Ainz still asked.
He didn't do it for any specific reason, but to see Hiyama's reaction. A Yggdrasil player is, for the most part, a video game addict, and a video game addict cannot hide their body language.
Looking at Hiyama's face, body, hands, and everything else, Ainz hopes to discover a clue and, naturally, find the answer.
"What is Yggdrasil?" Hiyama doesn't understand. His ignorance, eye movement, eyebrow position, and facial expression are clearly those of a person who knows nothing about the subject.
