After completed the punishment Thomas trained with corty and ravenna . He mostly trained his body and his secret visits to mana reservoir helped him feel and gather mana little by little.
While Thomas was lagging behind , falkner at the Duke estate under expert guidance already formed a low rank mana core* and started learning sowrdman ship of the velkin family* you could say while one was lagging the other was consider a genius ( * elements are explained at the end of chapter )

Thomas turned and nodded in agreement. He visited his room to change as he was his body was see which took a muscular form with visible abs and scars from training. He entered ravenna's room and greeted her," good morning maam...". Ravenna stood and said," Ohh yes come I wanted to tell your assessment for the past time.....so as we can see you've learning my sword manship for past one year and you've learned only 2 forms while other have learned 3 to 4 forms your growth is slow but yeah better than before but your mana core has grown significantly as compared to your sword forms....I dont what training you're doing yeah but it has reached mid rank 1 star.
Upon mention of mana Thomas was little shaken he visited the mana reservoir with anyone knowing secretly. He replied ," I Don't know maybe I am not that good with sword as I am in magic and mana".
Ravenna came forward and said ," yeah you have to cause according to velkin family rules the bloodline of velkins can only use swords which they remove from Garden of swords apart from wooden swords for training so until you turn 15 you're not getting yourself anything and....even after that you have to find your sword pair on your own now that you're considered a failure".
Meanwhile in the mansion of Duke velkin :
Falkner who entered the Dukes room was sitting on Sofa and having a conversation with him," hi dad you called for me...". The Dukes replied " yes I wanted to talk you about your growth....as per your master your growth is considered top tier you can already perform the 4 form of velkin swordmanship and your core is low rank 5 star that's could be assumed as a genius for your age ".....
Falkner with a happy mood greeted Duke and left his room and started training as he was training he thought ( what was Thomas maybe doing I am sure he won't be slacking off and I must not too I'll show him what I learned when we meat again) Thomas here at the peers house who was also training thought the same.
